Cool little motel! The pictures are accurate. Very clean and updated. Exactly what we wanted for a short little getaway to Auburn. My only caveat was they were right off the freeway (would have liked more trees) but its central location was great for sightseeing. A really nice Raley’s Market is close by if you need to grab some snacks.

Such a cute little motel! Refurbished throwback motel, well done, fresh & neat. We enjoyed our stay here. It is very clean, has cute outdoor seating areas to hang out, a pool, Superchargers onsite, easy freeway access, etc. Great stay!

Everyone we spoke to that worked there was so friendly and hospitable, they really made our trip so comfortable and memorable. The decor is very well done and well put-together. These guys are great! The patio was so nice and although it’s open, it still feels private.

Foothills Motel is a bit like a Wes Anderson version of a motel, with really cute retro styling. There’s a small pool, complete with oversized floaties. My room had a retro looking (but thoroughly modern functioning) fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. The bed is very comfy with a soft mattress. The staff for checkin was nice and answered questions about the area.

I grew up in Auburn and remember this motel as being a relic to the past. It has recently been completely updated, and it is the cleanest motel I have stayed at in years. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and decorated with a 60s flair, which I enjoyed. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The room even had a sliding glass door leading to a private covered patio with a view of the pool. We only stayed one night, but we will definitely be back!!

This was my second time staying there. Quite. Close to stores an other event location spots.

Great motel! Very convenient to get to, not far from old town. I’d definitely stay here again. Rooms are nice, of course a little smaller as it’s a motel. Glad they have a fridge and coffee maker. Bathroom was great! Beds were great. Super clean. Pool was a nice plus I didn’t even know about! Only reason I took a star off was because the bangs I would hear at night sounded like they came from the roof at some point haha. Freaked me out, but it was a good stay, I’d rate 4.5 out of 5.

A last minute reservation brought us to this wonderful place. So pleased by the front desk friendliness and service, and the nicely decorated and comfortable rooms. Appreciated the dog-friendly aspect also. Keeping a mental reminder of this place for our next travels.

Our trip was quick but the stay was great! An adorable location on the top of a hill. Staff was extremely nice and accommodating.

This property is very well maintained, friendly staff and our room was comfortable and really cute with a retro flair. Definitely will stay here again.

everything was so smooth from check in to check out. it was quiet, there was ample parking, and a lot of restaurants/grocery stores nearby. there is nothing i would complain about!

This is a gem. We’ve started two years in a row now and it’s a nice, relaxing place to stay for a great price. Close to the highway, but up on a hill away from the noise. Everything has been recently renovated. The staff are very nice and helpful. Love it!

It was a fun place to stay. The room was clean and the cute retro style was fun. We enjoyed the back patio and used the pint glasses to enjoy a cold drink out there. Would stay again.

The Foothills Motel was a fun place to stay. We were there for one night over the weekend. Booking was easy through Travelocity. Check in was easy and the room was ready for us. It was clean and had everything we needed and expected. We had a great stay and sat outside on the back patio area. My only suggestion is maybe provide a couple paper coasters for cold drinks. Otherwise we'll be back. Thank you.

This IS the place to stay in Auburn. Nothing fancy like a big corporate chain ( which is what we wanted ), but Very clean, Comfortable bed, nice Bathroom, cool Retro vibe. We will be back anytime we are back in town visiting family.

Awesome place to stay!

Love love love this hotel! They revamped an older building from the ‘50/‘60’s so it has this cool, true motel/road trip vibe. It’s clean, staff is super nice, decorations are neat, so glad we stayed here!!
