House was great room for everyone nice quiet neighborhood short walk to the beach house was clean and comfortable it had everything we needed for our stay

We had a wonderful time at the property. We wanted a beach vacation and that is what this house delivers. The house is clean, spacious and has everything you need.

Nice relaxing area. We were able to find some great restaurants within a 20 mile radius. Beach just a couple of blocks away.

The place was good and roomy. The sheets upstairs we had to re-wash due to not being the cleanest but overall was a nice home and in a good neighborhood. Lots of updating and new homes going in.

We decided to take a last minute trip to the beach for spring break and we were able to book this gem of a beach house literally the day before. Paul was very quick with responses to questions and the house was clean and provided us with everything we needed. It was actually the easiest check in/out I've experienced with a vrbo. We had a lovely time. The water close to the house does not have a beach, it's a rocky jetty which is beautiful to take a stroll too, but the beach access isn't far and we were able to park right on the spot we chose to have our water and sand fun so everything was right where we needed it and we didn't have to lug our gear from a far parking lot. This spot near the San Luis pass was not crowded for break like everything is closer to Galveston so we loved it. Make sure to go grab dinner at Red Snapper Inn, it is fabulous!!! Would definitely come back to this spot!

This is was wonderful property for a getaway with extended family. Close to a very nice, quiet, and clean stretch of beach. Property is as described in the listing and the owner was easily reachable and quick to respond to questions. Pro tip- bring lots of bug spray, the mosquitoes are abundant in the neighborhood!

This was a beautiful house, so spacious, lots of natural light and well laid out and furnished. It was an easy walk to the beach (our kids brought their scooters to make it faster!).

It was a very easy process. Paul was very responsive and did so quickly. We had no issues with the property and appreciated the easy of the whole process. Absolutely ready to go back.

Very nice house. My family had a great week. We rented a golfcart to transport people and gear to the beach. I recommend that. The house was stocked well for cooking. The beach was not crowded. Good times. This property worked great for us.

We really enjoyed staying at this beach house it would definitely be interested in renting in the future.

We had a great time! Kids loved the beach! Would love to rent this place again it was perfect for what we were looking for. Quiet even on the 4th of July weekend.

The owners are great. We really appreciated the deck space. Everything you need for a great trip is there and easily accessible. If you want to go to Galveston it is about an half hour drive.

The house was big enough for us all to be comfy and homey. Just wished there was a store closer by.

We had a great time staying at Mr. Speich's house. We made memories that we will never forget. This was our first family vacation since we were kids and we're all adults now. We have decided to make this a new tradition in our family and we are looking forward to our stay next summer.

Our family enjoyed everything about this property. Large spacious common spaces for family to gather. We had a great time on the patio and having dinner at the large dining table with the whole family. Would like to stay here again.

The whole experience was wonderful. The house was even better than imagined. Location was great for the beach and neighborhood walks. Paul was great and helpful with any questions we had. Highly recommend.

Our three families had a fun visit. The kitchen was well stocked for big meals and the large deck afforded great views, especially at sunset. Having a golf cart was especially useful for ferrying equipment and kiddos to the beach. We were also very appreciative of the pet policy and how responsive our host was before and during our stay.

House has open lots around it and covered parking underneath. Subdivision beach access is pedestrian/cart access only and a 3-5 min walk. Cars can park just outside subdivision beach access and walk last few yards to beach. Car beach access is Freeport’s public access 1-4, San Luis County Park, or Galveston’s public beach access just across toll bridge. We brought our UTV and really enjoyed using it to get around. Many people used golf carts too. Bring serious mosquito spray ! We visited just after Nicolas and the mosquitos were thick. Owner Paul was available and house had brand new floors. Mattresses were a bit hard for us, we ended up putting a foam mattress topper on the master bed for our stay. Groceries, restaurants, and stores are 20-30 minutes away. Bring what you need :). We enjoyed Lake Jackson’s Sea Center, Galveston’s Naval Museum, tree sculptures, & The Spot Restaurant….. and the BEACH !

The property was clean and very close to the beach. We had a great time!

We booked this property to evacuate from Hurricane Ida. We searched for somewhere that we could relax, that could accommodate a large group, and was pet friendly. We found this property which was reasonably priced. The property manager was AMAZING and very understanding of our situation. He replied very timely to online messages, phone calls, and texts. Though we were on edge during our stay as we worried about the destruction back home, we felt safe and the gulf views definitely helped keep anxieties at a minimum.

We stayed here last year & knew what to expect. Location is good. Just in between fishing & beaching. Tide was way up because of Hurricane Grace, but we were able to get a dry spot. Highly recommend for family get aways!!

Enjoyed a week with family. Paul was very responsive with a few small issues. House needs some work, but overall a great place. Bring beach chairs as none were at the house. Also, closest grocery/ restaurant is 30 miles away! Missed that when reading the previous reviews!

We had a fun and memorable family vacation here! We have fallen in love with this area and we will definitely be back!

Overall we had a great time! There was an issue with the door handle. We called Paul and he sent someone out the next morning to repair. Great beach with lots of shells and enjoyed that it wasn't crowded.

Highly recommend this property! Everything was just as pictured shown and description said. Paul, the owner, was quick to answer any questions throughout our stay. Beautiful property with ocean views and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Will definitely be staying here again!

We absolutely love staying here! This is our 2nd year and we hope to continue the tradition for years to come. Owner is very easy to work with and responds almost instantly. House has everything you need to make for an easy get away. Love the open floor plans and plenty of seating for your family & friends
