We had a wonderful time on the island while renting this condo. Beautiful home, great location.

Great place to stay. Very clean and plenty of space for our family of 6. We felt very safe. Beds were super comfy and tons of towels for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked and allowed me to cook several times. Food isn’t cheap so be prepared for that! We preferred Pueblos over Food Town price and selection wise. The living room AC was out but the owners communicated from the get go and we were fine without, the bedroom units kept it perfect for sleeping. The pool is beautiful with the sugar mill and we even used the grill our last night to grill the fish our son caught deep see fishing. 5 minute drive to downtown Christiansted, we enjoyed hanging out on the boardwalk in the evenings. Easy and beautiful drives to each side of the island as well. Our one complaint was the beach wasn’t what we hoped for due to the seaweed. We were able to get in and swim a bit the first day but the rest of our stay we couldn’t go in the water at all. We did watch small sharks hunting in the seaweed from the porch which was amazing! We couldn’t complain too much about the seaweed though because the view was still stunning and we wanted to explore other beaches as well. Cane Bay and Rainbow Beach were incredible! We also made full use of the snorkel gear and were very grateful to have it. I couldn’t get my kids out of the water with it!

The location of this property could not have been better. Less than 10 minutes to downtown Christiansted and right on the water. We had many sunrise coffees on the balcony. Plenty of room for our family of four. Sheri and Pat were easy to communicate with and they promptly responded to any questions we had. Highly recommend!

As soon as we walked in we felt like it was a place we could call home. We’re a family of six and we had plenty of room for each of us to have our own space and then some. The guys took one bathroom, the girls took the other it was great. Being able to wake up to the sounds of waves and enjoy a cup of coffee on the balcony was a perfect start of each day. The view from the condo is breathtaking, I cannot express how awesome it is as a start and finish point of your day. Other than groceries you have everything you need, I loved the site seeing we did but if you want a “one stop shop” this is your place. The beach is beautiful, I recommend wearing shoes in the water, and it’s great for snorkeling. We enjoyed the pool it is very clean and good size. We saw different types of lizards, birds and hermit crabs exploring around the property which was really cool. There are multiple stores and restaurants walking distance but having a rental car was the best option for us. One thing I was worried about was wifi, being far from home I read certain areas of the island had horrible service I can assure you the wifi is great. I was able to check in with my family daily and FaceTime which we all loved. The location is fabulous, centrally located to everything we did so we never had to drive too far, super convenient. The highlight, Miss Sheri herself, a rare find as a host and such a blessing to us. Communication was great, information detailed, our trip was better because of her. TY ❤️

The property was not clean. The countertops in kitchen were not clean and they were little bugs on the counters and in sink. If you left anything in the counter for just a second tony bugs would be on it. I would wipe them up and they would come right back . The floors were dirty . The furniture was dingy and dirty looking. The patio was cluttered and dirty. The snorkel gear box had a puddle of dirty water in it. Dusty in the lamps and under couch , coffee table etc. The refrigerator looked like it has never been cleaned on the outside. There was food and drinks in the refrigerator which I am not used to seeing. We made the best of things but we were very disappointed. We were told to never leave the air on when we left and it was blazing hot outside. It also had a musty smell. I had to be so negative but all these things are what we experienced and they need to be addressed. Whoever is being paid to clean is not doing their job. St. Croix was beautiful and we had a great time just disappointed with our condo.

This place was great and exactly as the hosts described. The bed and couch were very comfy and the condo was clean, well stocked, and updated . Views from the gallery were stunning. Neighborhood was quiet and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Sheri and Pat were great hosts, full of recommendations on fun things to do and excellent restaurants to try! 10/10 recommend and we cant wait to visit again!

We are repeat guests and I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. The water view from the balcony is spectacular! The condo is very comfortable and well-appointed with a full kitchen, beach and snorkel gear, games, dvds and books. The snorkeling right off the beach never disappoints. Sad to leave and can’t wait to return!

Great location to navigate the island! Beautiful condo that had everything we needed. Breeze blowing through the condo and sound of the waves was so relaxing.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy a family vacation with our college aged children. The location was right on the beach where we were steps away from relaxing on beach chairs, swimming ( or snorkeling) in the clear water. Photos were accurate and the rum bar was a big hit. We enjoyed coffee and evening drinks on the balcony. The pool was nice to enjoy both during the day and at night....very clean! We would definitely stay here again.

Sherri and Pat were amazing. They let us know everything we needed well before we even got there. They even checked in mid week. Place is very clean and had all the essentials for a vacation in STX. Pool and grill area was nice as well. Christiansted is roughly 5-7 min drive. Overall we had a great time and would definitely return to the Sugarshack. Thank you Sherri+Pat

We are repeat guests and this condo never disappoints. Balcony hangs over the water and beach offers great swimming and snorkeling. Condo is spacious, clean with many amenities (beach gear, snorkel equipment, tennis rackets). Sitting on the balcony is our favorite spot! Thanks!!

We really enjoyed staying at Pat and Sheri's place. It was a quick 20 minute drive from the airport, and we had a super easy check-in. House is very clean and well appointed. The view off of the long balcony is amazing. Enjoyed all of the different flavored rums they had for our pleasure! I have officially become a Cruzan fan! Easy 25-30 minute drive across, and to either ends of the island. Quick 5 minute drive to the Christiansted boardwalk. We hope to be back in the future!!

We had a delightful time on the island and enjoyed the condo right on the beach. The views were amazing and the condo was very spacious!

Property was as described. Loved the extras such as beach towels and kitchen supplies provided. Very nice property!

Location of condo was perfect and size and space for our family of 5 was wonderful. Great details and explanation of how everything worked and where to find different items. Good recommendations for activities and restaurants and very good responsiveness during our visit. Wish we would have had more time to try everything that was recommended. One general comment, when swimming in the area in front of the condos, I would recommend wearing a rash guard. Our daughter got a jellyfish tentacle tangled in her hair and ended up with sting marks on her arms, back, and shoulders.

The owners have done a great job to set this property up. We were felt very comfortable comfortable. It is clean and well maintained. The grounds are private and clean. The balcony and large opening doors to let in the breeze were great.

The property was as advertised. The view was amazing and we loved that the condo had literally everything we needed. Be sure to check the cabinets and fridge for some of the basics before you shop. We bought way more than we needed. Would recommend getting a rental car as the property is a bit isolated but the drive to Christiansted is only about 10 minutes. Overall, a great stay! Thank you

This was our second stay at the condo this year and everything was just as nice! The location is an easy drive to Christiansted and the condo balcony is just feet from the ocean waves. The bay provides calm water for swimming and easy snorkeling. The condo is very comfortable with efficient a/c, full kitchen, and tv’s with cable and wifi. Our hosts are very attentive and helpful! Will return again, thanks!!

Owner, Shari, is exceptional with multiple contacts, and she made sure we arrived ok. The condo is very cute, beds and air mattresses were comfy, nice bedding, nice bath and beach towels. Ocean breezes were amazing, screened doors and windows pulled breezes through master bedroom, living room and kitchen. The floors, sinks, and coffee maker weren’t as clean as expected. The condo is not in the best part of the island, bars on doors and windows. The condo has a security officer to patrol the grounds. Lots of snorkel gear in condo to use as well as coolers and beach towels and chairs! Sadly, Sargassum covered entire condo beach and many other beaches on the north side of the island. It started coming in June and it’s still coming! We could see it from the plane and a big patch passed us while snorkeling at Buck Island. Condo is in center of island making travel to east or west side convenient. The condo pool is very clean and very nice!

Pat and Sheri did a phenomenal job of staying in contact with me before, during, and after our stay. The information that was shared about the area and fun things to do and see was extremely helpful. The condo is in a great location and was exactly as the pictures promised. When visiting St. Croix we would highly recommend staying at the Shelton Sugar Shack!

We loved our trip to St Croix! Couldn’t have been happier with the island, the accommodations and the great hosts. The food, excursion and rental car recommendations provided by Sheri & Pat were also superb. I highly recommend this property for any future St Croix travelers!

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was a short drive to all the main places in Christensted. The condo was right on Sugar Beach was just as expected! The host was very easy to communicate with! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Wonderful stay in Sugar Beach! Condo was well furnished, lots of beach items (towels, coolers, snorkels, etc), kitchen was fully stocked including basic spices and great rum + coffee bars! We had a lovely time on the calm beach within the reef, and found short drives for when our kids wanted more waves. Wifi worked well for our work calls! Definitely recommend booking for a family trip

Condo was perfect and had everything we needed for our family of 4. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else on St Croix. Hosts were wonderful and very responsive to us. We will definitely be back!

Just a short ride from the airport to this well appointed condo. All the comforts of home. Very comfortable furniture. Plenty of towels for the beach and pool. If you want to snorkel you will not be disappointed. The condo is very clean and the view is beautiful. Thank you for an amazing week!

Very well-appointed, clean, quiet condo right on the beach!! Loved sitting on the gallery/balcony listening to the waves. Beach has nice snorkeling too. Hosts commutators promptly and offer great recommendations for activities on the island. Only a 10 minute drive to town. Perfect stay!!!

Beautiful condo in a great location! Stayed with 3 adults a toddler and a baby and had plenty of space. Easy access to Christiansted and easy to navigate to other locations. Right on the beach and also has a beautiful community pool on the property that we had entirely to ourselves. Cozy and comfortable and the hosts were very easy to communicate with and super helpful overall. Highly recommend!
