House was very nice, nice set up, nice decorations. Had everything we needed. The dock and fire pit were perfect. The entire process from booking to checking out was extremely easy and the owner and property manager were always easy to reach with quick responses to any questions we had. 3 day mini vacation with grandson. House was perfect for us, we went to the zoo, the beach, a boat ride, made s’mores by the campfire. Great time…grandson wants to go back!

Enjoyed our 3 day, 2 night stay! The house is very clean and comfortable. The owners are very happy to share any needed information on the surrounding area. There is a public boat ramp and parking within 5 miles.

This was a beautiful place to stay at. Peaceful, lake view was gorgeous and the restaurants near by were delicious. A beautiful get away to relax and the view was breath taking from the house on the lake. Thank you.

This was our 3rd year in a row at this property. We love it every time. The house is great. New grill! The dock is great for our boat. And the sunsets are the absolute best. Thanks again for having us.

The house is located in a great spot on the lake near the majority of restaurants, shops, etc. The house was clean and as described. Good communication with the owner.

This property is a great location on the east side of the lake so you get fantastic sunset views. Very convenient to restaurants and all of the local attractions. David was very responsive to any questions and check-in was easy.

No lie about the sunset…. It was the most beautiful view. We needed to get away from the loudness and leave all the stress behind and this place was our perfect piece of heaven. We’re definitely coming back! Thank you!

Enjoyable stay. The location of of the property was great. It was convenient to everything and did provide dramatic sunsets. Only issues were the steep terrain to access the dock and the rough, unpaved driveway.

This property has a great location with beautiful sunset views; Close to supermarket and town of Hawley. The check-in process was very smooth and David was very accommodating and responsive with all our questions. The layout of the house is very functional, really enjoyed eating dinners out on the deck and views from the cathedral ceiling w/windows. Some updates to living room furniture and added conveniences (more towel racks in the bathroom) would really make this place stand out. None the less, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the use of the dock for boating and fishing. Despite our suggestions, I would still recommend this property to others and would consider staying again.

Had a great trip, listening to the lake at night will wash away any stress and lul you to sleep. View from the cathedral windows is worth every penny - will definitely look to rent this again.

My family and I were so delighted to stay at this wonderful cozy sunset chalet. We will book again!!

Beautiful view of lake from inside, as well as patio and outdoor fire pit. Dave was very quick to respond and friendly. House was clean but a bit worn. Short stay but we enjoyed it very much, quick drive to nice little town.

As for getting to the dock, it was for myself and my daughter in law, a bit dangerous. A few stair steps that led to large and small rocks, some of which were outright dangerous. if you slipped. I'm suggesting a ramp of sorts. No big expense. No wash machine or dryer in the house(2009). I believe the ad was written for 2010.. Just some suggestions.

Very nice house, perfect place to see a sunset. If you like to take photos this is the place for you. Eagles every day, even got to see one take a fish from the lake. Property manager was very helpful throughout the process and was immediately responsive. Perfect place for getaway.
