酒店位置非常好，旁边是文昌宫观景台，酒店的风景无与伦比，能看到整个丽江古城，非常震撼。旁边就是四方街广场，几分钟就能到。 酒店的员工非常热情专业，给我的丽江旅行提供了所有便利。推荐了非常美味的餐厅，小众的景点也很不错，推荐大家花一天去玉湖村看看。 酒店提供的免费接送机服务也很好，豪华的商务车非常舒适豪华，司机健谈幽默。 而且文晋院酒店的房间特别宽敞，卫生细节满分，房间设施设备不输五星级酒店，体验完美，下次来我还会住这里。

This hotel clearly exceeded our expectations. The hotel is very well-situated, right in the ancient city of Lijiang. It makes the location of the accommodation very convenient for travelers who want to enjoy an ancient Chinese city. The staff took care of every single detail of our stay so we could have a pleasant experience: from contacting us to offer free pickup services to the attention we received during our stay. All the communication was in English. The room and facilities were outstanding. We had an excellent and superb stay at this accommodation. We absolutely recommend it to upcoming Lijiang visitors!

Everything was excellent!

Beautiful city views from the room! Hotel staff is super nice and helpful, even speak a little English. You get authentic Yunnan teas and a tea set in your room which was a nice surprise. Lots of heating options in the winter too, including a space heater and heating packs. Great location - nightlife area and the Old Town canal is only a few steps away. Has a strong inn-like or homestay vibe. The open calligraphy table and playable guzheng were nice touches.

It's a little expensive for what you get - we upgraded our room (definitely recommend getting the upgraded room on the top floor with the city views), but our original room (before we upgraded) didn't really have windows you could see out of (just frosted glass panes). You should be prepared to walk a few flights of stairs to get home each night, you get used to it though!

Location: on the top of the mountain, with great view of the whole Dayan old city. Transportation: can access by taxi, close to the NW gate of old city. Facilities: all you need can be found here. It has a projector and you can play your own video here. Environment: cozy and warm. Staff: friendly and willing to help.

The bed is a little bit too soft.

Breakfast is a bit of a challenge, the staff starts at 8:30.

This place is too surprising, very ancient, the room is comfortable, and you can see the whole ancient city. Dyson hairdryer, Kohler bathroom, details, quality, elegance.

Breakfast was good. Staff was a bit late waking up, but very nice and helpful. Check in was great, early morning staff did not speak great English, but after 8 years in China, I do not speak Chinese and definitely cannot complain about that. We managed well so most others can do the same with humility. Overall, we had a terrific time and would absolutely recommend to friends and colleagues. Last - don't worry about the noise from the city. We had the best city facing window room and yes, you can hear karaoke, but it's LiJiang - what do you expect. They are having fun. it's really a hum and not loud. My kids didn't even complain, it also ends around midnight and does not keep you up at night.

Day bed was a bit hard for my son. We needed an extra bed for my daughter as well and got an air mattress which lost 50% air at 3am and my daughter and to move into bed with my wife. Uncomfortable, but we were reimbursed 300rmb the next morning and given a better bed the next night. Also, the access for taxis and getting picked up by our next hotel in ShanggriLa was very difficult given the lack of access on the backside of the mountain. You need a better process for outside access. Maybe a clearance card for guests, not sure but something.

The room was comfortable with plenty of room. The hotel had lots of interesting items linked with Chinese culture which made the hotel feel authentic. We had a lovely tea tasting ceremony when we checked in which made us feel very welcome. The hotel is in the old town so it’s a perfect location to explore.
