I absolutely adore this place!!! We rented it out for my grand daughter’s 2nd birthday. The thing that made our week was having all the baby items as well as baby gates on the stairs (that was incredibly thoughtful). Plus having access to beach towels, chairs and beach items…a house having everything you need for the beach and kids made this trip the best and this place the best…well worth the money. We had issues with the tv and Mathais was sent out asap to fix it! Overall this was the best vacation we had and best location on the beach!! We have got to get this place again. My grand daughter loved the place as well; she was out on the balcony and the roof top watching the ocean. Plus having all those places to eat…oh my god delicious!!! Oh and note the garage can hold a Chevy suburban!!!

This Mission Bay home was beautiful and very well-appointed. My family, with 3 teens, my husband, and myself, were all very comfortable with our bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. Great garage parking we could count on. This is our second time renting a home in Mission Bay, and we were very happy overall. Just a couple of comments and a bit of feedback that our pillows were a bit on the firm side, many of the dishes in the cabinet were put away dirty (likely by a previous guest because the owner asks that dishes are put away), many metal items in the home were rusty (I do realize this is common in beach towns, but some things in the home were very rusty). The list of house rules and instructions was excessive. honestly, it's bordering on insulting. As adults renting a home with our kids, it felt a bit like being micromanaged and made things slightly stressful out of fear of being fined. We are also a very competent tech family, and even with 3 teenagers, we struggled significantly with trying to watch basic satellite TV in the rooms and trying to stream Netflix in the living room. Every time the sleep timer turned on, we got signed out and had to log back in. As for the function of all appliances, the washer and dryer were great, and the oven provided spices and seasonings. The firepit on the roof was something we looked very forward to using for our January trip, and not only was there no propane, but the lighter provided was incredibly rusted and didn't work

Fantastic house in great location.

The house is right on Mission beach, can't get closer. We enjoyed our stay as a family, beach time daily and plenty of restaurants around for food. Roof top is amazing to take in the views and sunsets.

This was a fantastic house! Better than expected. Classy furniture. Kitchen was well equipped and had lots of spices to add to your cooking! Tons of beach chairs. John hair crib for young children. Perfect location! Top deck is phenomenal! We spent every night up there using the fire pit, looking at dolphins!

Perfect vacation home with multi level ocean views. The rooftop deck was awesome! Just be aware it’s multi level with the kitchen and living room on the 3rd floor, but all the stairs were not an issue for us.

We were overjoyed with how great this property is. Great location, many things to do close by, and being right at the Ocean,can’t beat that. The property is a perfect set up for family, together but each also having their own space. Nicole was great to deal with, plus when we couldn’t get the tvand internet to work, they came over and fixed the problem right away.we fully recommend this property , 5 stars for sure. The property was impeccable. The kitchen was well stocked, though a few more outlets would have been helpful. The garage had everything you needed for beach time. So many decks to choose from. Wonderful views, gorgeous sunsets and a mere twenty steps and you’re on the sand. Would definitely stay there again. A word of caution if any in your party have mobility issues as there are a lot of stairs.

Four siblings (age 56-65) and spouses spent five nights at the property. Easy access to beach. Could watch the surf from three balconies including rooftop. Gas fire pit provided ambiance (blankets provided warmth in January). Everybody got to spend quality time together and still a little space for themselves. Great week that probably started a new family tradition.

Loved this house. Perfect for our family with great ocean views, awesome balcony water views, comfortable beds, plenty for kids to do, well equipped kitchen , beach chairs and toys, sunsets on roof top with a fire. Perfect distance from the beach, not being right on the active pathway. Well appointed all new bathrooms. All made for great family memories. Even better since we arrived after leaving our home in Jackson WY where the temperature was -6. Loved the San Diego sunshine and 70* temps. Will be back. Thank you

We stayed at this property with a family of 4, 2 young children, our Nanny and her spouse. Beautiful views, had everything needed for young children, kids' dishware, high chair, crib, etc. There are gates by all the stairs which made all levels actually useable. Steps to beach. All the stuff you need for a day on the beach, plenty of chairs, towels, umbrellas, and endless beach toys for all ages. We definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful rental. The decks are incredible. Clean and nicely decorated. Excellent location. Steps to the beach, walking distance to restaurants and a short drive to the grocery. Highly recommend.

Only three homes back from the beach and spectacular views from the 2nd and 3rd floor rooms and rooftop deck, this Mission Beach property was a great beach vacation rental. Easy travel north to La Jolla and south to the airport, sea world, and Coronado. Home stocked with plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, and sand toys and beach towels. Outside shower for clean up. A few issues: smoke alarm went off, bbq didn’t work properly, ceiling fan in downstairs bedroom had to be replaced, and gas fire pit needed replacing. All very inconvenient and had to email property managers. But, each problem was taken care of fairly quickly. Note that there are three sets of stairs and another to top deck. Main living area on third floor. If you have any physical issues, this is not the house for you. Also, it is an older neighborhood with zero lot lines so you’ve got lots of neighbors and noise from the public walkway along the beach, even though “quiet time” starts at 10pm. Be prepared to buy or bring staples like soap, shampoo, plastic wrap, napkins, and paper plates if you don’t want to do a lot of dishes. We are a family of eight, including two grandkids, ashes 6 and 2.

We had a lovely week at this property. The house was as advertised and the pictures were accurate. The rooms were nice, comfy beds and nice bathrooms. The kitchen was also great - spacious, well- stocked and nice finishes. The location is great - you are truly a house in from the beach. Also, there is a rental place for all things surfing one house the other direction. I do think the carpet and sofa could use an upgrade but otherwise, the place is lovely. One note, the garage is low to get in. We barely fit our rental car in (a mid-sized SUV). So just don’t bring a large vehicle.

One would never need to leave this property to enjoy the ocean. The views are fantastic. However, since it is so close to the beach there is no hassle with going down there. Everyone in our group raved about the comfortable beds. This unit is tops.

Roof top patio with fireplace and view was wonderful. Convenient to beach, restaurants, bars, groceries and shopping. Only fault was the bed in the bottom bedroom had "hole" in the mattress resulting in you continually rolling into the middle of the bed. Also, the beds are listed as queens. They are what I call California Queens. In the Midwest we call them Double Beds.
