Perfect..

Well located cottage , close to Margaret River centre. Comfortable, cosy , has everything you need for a short or medium stay. Very quiet. Couple of things to remember: bathroom is outside, access by the terrace; and the bed is upstairs, with sharp stairs. We liked it. Kitchen is neat and super equipped.

A really lovely guest house on a quiet, picturesque property just minutes from Margaret River town centre. Well stocked kitchen & comfortable living area with very cosy loft bedroom.

The location was very quiet and pleasant with horses coming up the fence near the cottage, making it a real country feel. The cottage was clean and comfortable and enjoyed a good night’s sleep in the bed. The only negative was the toilet, shower and vanity were outside the main building on the veranda. Which meant going outside which was not idea.

Relaxing from start to finish. Hosts are most respectful and caring.

This property is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The guesthouse is a beautiful place to stay surrounded by nature and the hosts have considered everything to make the guesthouse a comfortable place to relax. Ann Marie went above and beyond as a host to help us out during our stay. We can't wait to visit again.

We enjoyed our stay - close enough to town to be convenient, but far enough away to be in the peace and quiet. The kitchen was well equipped so we could cook decent meals (when not enjoying lunches out in the area) and the living area was sufficient for the two of us. It wasn't cold enough to require heating, but the rugs provided on the couch provided enough warmth at night. The cottage is cute and comfortable, and somewhere we'd recommend couples consider.

A cosy charming cottage. Clean and comfortable, well equipped. You can fill the fridge and just let the rest of the world go by. Total peace and quiet. Highly recommended.

Myself and my partner stayed at the Chestnut Brook Cabin recently and it was without any doubt the best holiday experience we have ever had! The owners are so incredibly lovely, the property is very well maintained, and the cabin! OMG the cabin, it is so cozy, warm and homely. The description listed by Ann-Marie is 100% spot on. From the photos and the description, I was looking forward to our stay, but when we arrived I fell in love straight away! This cabin is located a short 6 minute drive from town, but it is also far enough away to have absolute peace and quiet. thanks again!

Close to Margaret River centre despite it being an 8 acre property! Beautiful chestnut trees, lovely horses called Victor, Froggy and Ruby! Victor will come and say hello, but he does not like sharing his ladies. Not even for a small pat! The rogue likes them enough himself! A really comfy bed, lovely country kitchen with all the amenities one needs! Clean and neat! Great and responsive service from lovely hosts! Outdoors are picturesque and set in a small valley with beautiful trees! The cottage is far enough from the main buildings for a cosy private feel! We loved sitting at the built in bar table and having a nice and relaxing wine, surrounded by chirping of the many birds. A really great value for money!!!!

Well located a short drive from town centre although not within walking distance. Property located at the rear of rural property. Car park some 100 metres steeply down hill from the property entrance. The property is a wooden structure with an adequate kitchen and lounge area although some comfortable seating would have been appreciated . The bedroom is located up stairs in an attic like space which is difficult to transverse without bumping you head. Whilst in bed the ceiling is only some 400mm from your face. Sitting up means being extremely careful. The toilet and bathroom is another issue. It is located outside in a outhouse which necessitated going outside and walking around the verandah, not ideal at night in your 60s. Overall it was adequate but only just a step or two removed from camping. Not ideal for those of us in later years.

We had a perfect stay at this property. We loved the quirkiness of The Guest House, the peace and quiet, the friendliness of our hosts and the location giving us lovely morning walks. Such a magical few days away from the busyness of Perth.

Stunning bush cottage. Well maintained and perfect for one or a couple. You will never tire of the scenery and beautiful setting.

I needed a cottage where I could have a weeks respite from caring for my 92 yo dad and Chestnut Brook Cottage was just perfect. So quiet and peaceful with the sounds of birds for company. The cottage was extremely clean and well stocked. I had a visit from some kangaroos one day while sitting on the deck eating breakfast. The back deck was perfect for sitting with a good book and glass of wine in the afternoons and when it came time for sleep the bed was really confortable. I couldn't have asked for a better spot and will definitely return again.

The cottage had everything you could possibly need. Loved the relaxing bush setting and the outdoor bar type table that we sat at every day to eat and drink wine. Fantastic, relaxing holiday!
