We found it a bit of a challenge to find this hotel, as it is on the second floor of a palazzo and the signage is quite discreet, but once we got there we couldn't understand how we missed it. The room was very glamorous and stylish, with a small balcony looking onto a pretty central courtyard, a big bed and a big day bed. On the second day of our visit it was warm enough in the late afternoon to sit on our balcony for a little while. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful and gave us a map and directions to the main areas of the city. Later we asked her for a restaurant recommendation and she booked us into Trattoria San Lorenzo, about 5 minutes walk away, where we had a good meal. Although the hotel is on quite a quiet street, it is very central (5 minutes from the Duomo in one direction, 5 minutes from the Galleria dell’Accademia in the other).

It was a bit difficult to find somewhere to stash our cases once we had unpacked, but we eventually managed to store them under the desk.

Everything..... I'm working in hotel business for 25 years and this hotel is perfection. Perfect location in the historic center. Perfect rooms with amazing unique design for each are exceptional, big space for short or long stay, all amenities you may need (bathrobe,slipper, many kit and cream,hairdryer), fridge with water, coffee machine,confortable bed, great shower with different option, big TV with Netflix,even a smart phone with all the touristic information. Perfect service, what a friendly staff, all the team is so nice and take care of our guest as great professional even before you arrive, Anita and Sabina make our trip as a dream for celebrating our wedding anniversary.... The best hotel in Florence, the quality rate is insane ... We feel to be in a palace for a so sheep rate. Thanks you so much and hope to come back soon.

We were traveling for work and had 2 free days. This hotel was designed top notch! Everyone on staff was very friendly and took care of our every need. Coffee, juice and breakfast on premise was the perfect way to start the day.

There was a hum in our room that showed up day 2…we did hear the elevator as well. We would still return as it was not too bothersome.

Excellent location, in-between Duomo and Accademia Gallery. We could see the Duomo from our hotel window. The shower was great, the bed was comfortable, and everyone in the lobby was incredibly helpful and friendly.

The rooms needed to be at least slightly larger. We had nowhere to even put our laptops; we had to create a makeshift "desk" inside the armoire. This was the only issue we had, however.

The decor of the hotel and our room was very attractive. Staff were very attentive, friendly and provided a high level of service. Breakfast was included and was delicious-a good choice of fruit, breads, meat and cheese etc.

There were a lot of insects in the room that my family and I got insect bites all over our body and face. and I was shocked when I found out that the hotel was a three star hotel when online it showed that it was a four-star hotel.

This boutique hotel was charming and centrally located near the Duomo. Annette went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic! Most comfortable room and I hope to visit Firenze again and stay at this location.
