We had a wonderful experience with our stay. The cabin was in a very quiet area with a lot of space to enjoy. It was super clean and well taken care of with all the necessary items needed for our stay. I highly recommend this listing to anyone with family and pets. We have enjoyed this beautiful mountain home, with the most gracious and responsive hosts, for 4 years now. It is puppy friendly and wonderfully located near beautiful green spaces and hiking trails. I imagine it is beautiful in the snow, at Christmas, but we only know it is our favorite spot to go to cool off and hike. Thanks!

This was the second summer we have stayed in this cabin. It has a well stocked kitchen, quality linens and a charming comfortable living area. It is ideally located for access to all of the local trails. The deck is great for watching wildlife. We hope to be back!

Had a wonderful time in Angel Fire! The cabin had everything plus more, that we needed. Every well thought out. It was much appreciated.

This property has a great central location to visit other areas such as Eagle Nest, Red River, Cimmaron, Philmont Boys Scout Ranch and Taos, as well as other sites. It has quick access to several Angel Fire hiking trails. Trails used on our trip were: Deer, Elk, Bear and Coyote. Deer and elk were sighted on those hikes. The deck/porch was wonderful to sit on, either in the morning or after a day of hiking and/or sight seeing. The first evening, we saw a black bear about 100 feet away. A priceless memory. We also had deer and turkey in the yard. We were concerned that we would not have mountain views, but the greenbelt views from the house were great. We felt we had privacy; yet houses and hikers were near if you wanted human interaction. We did not lack for any items while staying in the house. We are from Oklahoma, so the weather was perfect until our last day and even the rain was special to us!

The house was as described. It was clean and comfortable. The location was great--very private. Loved the deer in the yard in the evenings. Close to trails. Close to main road.

The Property was Perfect, everything about it, we would definitely use this place again! The location was Great, Angel Fire was directly across the road as you come out of where the property was grocery store and also ski rental right there also, our only issue we had and really wasn’t a big problem was our daughter’s vehicle wasn’t four-wheel drive, but we wasn’t expecting ice and 8 inches of snow either which was really wonderful and beautiful… Overall I and my family would give this Place a 10+

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this charming home in Angel Fire, NM. Everything was exactly as advertised on the VRBO site. The recent snowfall added a very special touch, also. We are already planning on returning next winter!

It was a beautiful home and we enjoyed our stay. It’s snowed and it was such a beautiful site from the huge windows! Only thing I would have to say is that there was a lot of pet hair in the house, in the beds. We had a hard time sleeping so I re washed the linen.

Great accomidations for a family getaway. The property was exactly as described in the listing. They had everything we needed and we felt at home. Spent time hiking in the area and our down time doing puzzles in the house. Great stay! I highly recommend. Jessica was excellent with communications. We would absolutely stay here again. We had a great time!

Beautiful property, excellent friendly and responsive hosts, a perfect place for us to get away from Texas heat and enjoy cool mountain air while hiking in all the very close-by trails.

This was our third summer to visit Angel Fire and this was our favorite rental home. It was attractively decorated, very clean, and super well-stocked. It has a gas fireplace and a lovely deck for watching wildlife. It is conveniently close to town, but feels miles away. One of our favorite things about the house is that it is located just steps away from the beautiful Angel Fire trail system. No need to drive to a trailhead! We definitely hope to return!

What a great place. Exactly as advertised. We were looking for a place to escape the heat. Temperatures were in the 70s all week. Cabin was very well appointed and extremely clean.

Would recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle for the driveway if it has snowed recently. This cabin was everything we hoped for and more! Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Each guest who arrived made comments on how beautiful and wonderful the cabin in the woods was. We were all comfortable in our rooms and had a spacious gathering spot in the dining/ living area. We loved seeing the deer come close, and had a great time in the town of Angel Fire. We would highly recommend this as a memorable place to stay and would very much enjoy coming back. Also to add, Jessica and her husband were highly responsive and gracious hosts!

We love coming to this gorgeous and so well equipped, wonderfully located mountain home. It's a perfect getaway for us, away from the long hot Texas summer, to cool northern NM pine and aspen trees. We love to hike with our pet sheltie, read, and sleep so well. We have been making this our fall retreat. We love it, and we think most everyone would! Thank you!

My wife and I and golden retriever rented this great place for the month of August. I highly recommend it to others. It’s exactly as advertised. Well appointed and very clean. It does not have a Mountain View but the meadow and size of the property make up for it. Convenient to grocery store.
