The apartment is close to the train station and bus stop. View is absolutely incredible. Bed was comfortable and there were extra blankets as it got cold at night. You can take a direct bus to Diyaluma waterfall for very cheap (five minute walk from the hotel). There's also a nice tea factory and cafe you can walk to through the tea plantations in around 30m.

There was a lot of humidity in the room, though from reviews of other hotels seems normal for the area - the towels and blanket smelled overwhelming of damp. WiFi didn't work, and there was no kettle/tea making facilities as stated in the booking. The shower was also very poor - very low pressure and either cold or scalding hot. The main issue was noise. We weren't able to enjoy the beautiful view from the balcony due to construction noise, traffic and non-stop barking from the neighbour's dog - we were woken each morning at dawn by the dog howling for hours. UPDATE: After leaving this review, the hotel cancelled my stay and reported me as a no show, in an attempt to double charge me and remove the review. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

We like the cool climes in here the beauty of the nature . comfortable room and the room was clean. And the Bathroom is clean . Nice balcony view. it's near to train station. It's walking distance to town . I love this place the bird sounds and it's so cool in the morning the mist at evening its very beautiful.

The owners are super friendly and helpful. The view is great if not shrouded in fog.

There is no wifi and the room is pretty musty. There are some drips from the ceiling but nothing too concerning (yet). It was also not cleaned properly. Since covid I always bring lysol wipes and after wiping down the dresser and toilet seat, they were very dirty.

I love the view its awesome superb. Best place to relax . staff is very friendly. The room was cleaned nd very comfortable. I highly recommend this place for anyone

The view fom the room is absolutely amazing. Very friendly and helpful owners. They happily made is tea whenever we wanted. The room was very well equipped. Conveniently located if you wish to explore the area.

The bathroom wasn't super clean.

The owner is super lovely with a cute family of his. He took care of us really kindly. The room is nice and even the humidity is really high here, you can see the owners take care of it well. Thank you for everything.

Very good location and very kind owners. They agreed to rent us their scooter for a very fair price so we could visit Horton Plains and Lipton's Seat by scooter. They offered us nice fresh juice after our arrival. The room has great view on Haputale and it's very close to the city center and train station (however incorrectly set on booking so ask owner after getting off the train). Breakfasts were tasty. Keep in mind that it's next to the street no it's not the most quiet stay you can get but it's not terrible (the street is not so busy).

we stayed two nights and they were the best of our sri lanka trip. View was perfect. The room, toilet, bathroom was so clean. You feel like a guest not a customer. The family was friendly and helpful. You can trust and stay sadelik. Highly recommended.

I travelled with my family to this hotel. It was an exceptional property. They were so warm and good. Room was so nice with alot ot facilities. It had a super view. Loved it. Will visit again and again. Superb.

Good place

It is totally recommendable to stay at this place. The hosts are very friendly and help you wherever they can. The view is very nice and the accommodation is clean and located very well, easy to walk from the railway station. Breakfast is great. I would definitely come again!

Wifi didn't work most of the time, the sheets and towels have stains, some noise from the road below.
