Week w family. First time at OL and S.C. plenty yo do all week.

We usually go to Ocean Lakes every October for 10 days for vacation and all of the Halloween festivities. This house is exactly what we were looking for. It’s pet friendly and very convenient to walk the dogs with the pond and grassy area just across the street. Also, just a short walk to the beach. The house is also big enough so that you can gather with everyone else or have a little privacy when needed. The kitchen is well stocked with all types of items you would need to cook a meal. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the ducks and geese in the pond. Our time there went by entirely too quickly and we were sad to have to leave. I’ve actually already booked it for our trip next October.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I believe we have found our annual vacation home. Very close to the beach, right across the street from one of the ponds (great fishing) , we really enjoyed the decks also.

Several pros and cons: Pros House is within walking distance to the beach Nice view of the pond Nice porches - one has shade all day from the tree and is enjoyable Plenty of living space, kitchen ware, crook pot, both a regular coffee pot and Keureg in the kitchen Cons Lots of traffic passing in front and both side street of the house Steep stairs - won’t recommend if you have bad knees Wall paper in upstairs bathroom needs replacing - starting to peel lose Table on porch is starting to show some rust Outside shower was full of sand, pails Seems campground security wasn’t enforcing loud and profanity music rules Daily parking rate is $12.00 a day and not $10.00 as advertised

We had just a wonderful vacation. Ocean Lakes is a family oriented place with lots of things to do. Our rental unit was very nice. We truly enjoyed it and want to come back again in the future.

Prime location, wonderful amenities, excellent working kitchen, prime time balconies, great experience for my students.

I have stayed in many rental homes in Ocean Lakes this is by far my favorite. The house is very spacious, clean and newly renovated. It being lake front is an extra bonus. I will definitely be a repeat Renter. Thanks for opening your home to us.

Host took care of our needs. House was perfect for 6 of us, but could fit more. Always had hot water. Short walk to beach.

We had a great time at the Mac House! The property has a perfect lake view and plenty for space for our family to make memories.

Everything was as listed on line. Short walk to beach, activities for all, ice cream at night. The weather was beautiful. Loved having 2 decks. Enough space for people to spread out. Roomy kitchen, nice grill! Loved tooling around on golf cart.

The property had everything we were looking for. It was a nice space and close to fishing and to the beach. Only downside was 2 bathrooms. Which was fine for six of us. But it could be chaotic for a group of ten or more

We had a great time-the house was very spacious and in a great location. We had a late night arrival with a few glitches. One of them was that the house wasn’t as clean as we (and the owner) expected. There was another small issue as well but Shannon took care of them both quickly. She went above and beyond to make things right. We would stay there again if we were to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home in Ocean Lakes Campground. The house was very nice. Great location . My husband and I were celebrating 30 years together in a place where we met. His family and my best friends families both had places in the campground. We had a great Thanksgiving and anniversary. Shannon was a wonderful person to rent from. May have to make it an annual thing.! Thank you Shannon for everything.

Enjoyed our stay.

We had never stayed (or even heard of) Ocean Lakes but were enticed by the idea of the proximity to the beach and the water park. This house is less than a 5 min walk to the beach. Plenty of room inside - we had 8 guests (5 teens and 3 adults) and it was perfect. Two decks and porch swing. The owner is great and very responsive to anything you need. I highly recommend you pay for the parking in advance. We did (thanks to the owner's recommendation) and it saved time upon arrival. This place is a zoo on Saturday afternoons. We arrived around 1 (thankfully) and it took us close to 45 mins to get down the main road to the entrance. B/C we prepaid we could slip in on the left. Those who didn't had to wait. The waterpark is nice but tends to get really crowded. The 4 teens boys with us tried it out one day but were too impatient. Found it a better option around dinner time or later. The pool is nice but also gets crowded during the date. The houses in OL are very close together. So if you are looking for a yard this is not for you. But we spent most time at the beach - so close we could walk back to get drinks, snacks, etc. I recommend that once you get into the house on Saturday you don't go back out til late or wait until Sunday. The main roads are very congested with arriving guests. There's a Walmart just across the street and a few other stores close by. Great ice cream across the street as well. The owner has a golf cart you can rent and OL also rents carts. They are fun but not necessary. Everything is close. But folks love them so when walking keep your eyes peeled! The community is quiet after 10 but before that fireworks are let off most nights. Overall we had a great time in OL and highly recommend this home.

We really enjoyed our week at Oceanlakes. The location of the house was so convenient to the beach. While the house doesn't have an ocean view, the lake right in front of the house was a nice alternative. We did have a few issues with the house but Patsy was on top of them immediately! I spoke to her several times during our week and she couldn't have been more accommodating & nice. Overall the house is nice & comfortable and the issues we had were not the owners fault but possibly a renter that was there before us. I honestly don't know if I've ever rented from a nicer owner who cares about the comfort of their guests! I can't say enough good things about the owner Patsy!

Kitchen well stocked and had everything you need. House was great. A lot of steps for people with arthritis but we enjoyed staying there. The only thing that would make it better would be if they furnish a golf cart. We paid 360.00 to rent one.

We loved this home! It was big and spacious so the whole family had the room they needed. It is super close to the beach and water park so you don't even need a golf cart. It was really clean and we'll decorated. There are two porches and they were great to grill out and enjoy the sun. Patsy is super nice and friendly. She is responsive with any issues. Truly a great place and we would stay here again!

It had everything we needed and was in a perfect spot between the beach and the lake for fishing. The outside shower was a huge bonus.

We had plenty of room for 9 people. The kitchen was WELL stocked so we didn't have to take things with us or eat out all the time. I have zero complaints. Ms. Patsy was a pleasure to work with and I hope to go back again next year!

The house was very nice, pretty of room in bedrooms, liked bunk beds in upper hallway!!! House was very clean, nice kitchen had all the dishes and pans plus more!! Good location close to the beach, loved outside shower. The only reason didn't rate it at 5 star (but still 4 1/2 stars) need to up date TV's to flat screens for kids video gaming, a plus for parents. But overall I highly recommend it!!! Thank you Miss Patsy you are a sweet lady and great to deal with as well!!!

We were very pleased with the house! It was very clean, comfortable, spacious and up-to-date. It had everything we could ask for. The owner was very helpful, friendly and wonderful to work with! We had a great vacation! I strongly recommend this property!
