My husband and I and our adult son stayed for a week while visiting our son and wife nearby. We have stayed multiple times at the lake over the past 5 years. This setting was gorgeous with the new dock and an abundance of lake toys. We really enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit after a late afternoon swim. Unfortunately, rental prices have skyrocketed. This was affordable but the house is old and needs replaced since updating is not a likely option. The online listing was accurate, so we were not surprised by the condition. There were plenty of dishes, cleaning supplies, and linens. Since the weather was mild at night, we would have liked to have the windows open instead of using the air-conditioning, but there were no screens in the windows. Larry was very helpful and kind.

Wonderful location and great communication with property manger. Very clean home. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed the dock, kayaks and paddle boards.

Right on the lake. Close to town. Felt like a safe neighborhood. Loved the area.

Everything was very nice! With fees the price was a little steep, but we would stay there again.

My husband and i wanted to stay somewhere relaxing and quiet when my mom came to visit us. This home away from home on the lake was exactly what we wanted and than some. We liked the cozy feeling of the house and how well kept it is. The dock was great for fishing, and we were thankful for the kayaks that we could float around in. Mom loved the deck! She had coffee there every morning and enjoyed the view immensely. Thank you, Larry, for providing such a great lake house retreat! Truly a gem of a place and pleasure to get to stay there for awhile. Jasmine and Jonathan

I would recommend this place to anyone if they wanted somewhere to get away and relax. The place itself was very clean and had just about everything we needed for our stay. The neighborhood was relaxing and chill. I can see myself booking this place again in the future.

Was exactly as expected. Host was easy to access and very helpful. Loved the access to the lake and just sitting on the porch.

By mint condition, I mean this place is perfectly well kept and maintained. The huge covered porch off the back is great. The included kayaks and SUP are a bonus. We had a great time.

Wonderful being on the lake and loved having the kayaks and paddle boards available. The BBQ pit was a plus, we used it a couple of times for lunch. This residence is pretty close to grocery stores, restaurants and some shopping.

Perfect size place for our family of 4. The dock was great and the kids enjoyed fishing there. We really loved the screened in back porch during thunder storms! This was our second trip and plan to return.

We were very happy with our stay. Everything was as stated in the listing and clean, which is a big one for me. There were 6 of us so we did have to use the sofa sleeper, which was the only negative because it was uncomfortable. But the wonderful outdoors made up for it! The deck with covered gazebo was fantastic and the use of the paddleboards and kayaks thrilled and entertained our 4 teens, who all had a great time. That's saying alot... since making four teenagers all happy at the same time is a rare thing. We are very thankful for the opportunity to stay in Larry's home on such a beautiful lake in such a nice town and neighborhood! Thank you very much, we had a great stay!

Wanted a short little getaway for a few days. The place was perfect. Had everything we needed. Very clean. The dock was amazing. We loved using the kayaks. Having a fire by the lake in the evenings was very relaxing. We had a great time. Would highly recommend and stay again. Larry was prompt in answering any questions we had.

Very peaceful and relaxing location right on the Lake and in close proximity to a Food Lion and several restaurants. We rented a pontoon boat for two days from Surf & Sport Lake Norman, and they delivered it directly to the dock the night before and picked it up at the end of the second day, which was very convenient. Sitting on both the back deck and by the fire pit was a serene and enjoyable way to watch the world drift by. Larry has compiled a three-ring binder full of detailed instructions, which proved very helpful during our stay. This was particularly true in terms of operating the home's oven, which was an older model and a little hinky, but it worked fine once we figured out how to use it. All-in-all, we enjoyed our trip and would stay here again.

Beautiful water front. Had lots of fun watching fireworks right from the shore line all week end long. Older kids enjoyed kayaks during the day and at night for firework viewing. Great area for swimming and relaxing on some floats.

This our 2nd year to stay. it is quiet and very relaxing. They have improved the cleanliness of the property since last stay. we enjoyed our stay.

This is one of the kind property. The location is amazing, right on the lake. Kids friendly, very private. We loved our little getaway and hope to be back one day.

Larry’s place on Lake Norman has become our pit stop on our way to Myrtle Beach and Florida. This is our 2nd visit and the location is terrific, we spend so much time outside on the covered deck for our meals morning coffee daydreaming and just enjoying the view and the boating skiing enthusiasts.

The house is in a great location on a beautiful property. We visited for Spring Break and stayed for 4 nights. Everything is very close by if you need groceries, want to grab a bite to eat or even rent a boat for the day.

This property was perfect for our spring break fishing trip. The dock was perfect for our boat and for night fishing and we really appreciated the snacks the host left. We hope to visit again!

I would suggest getting curtains that cover windows for privacy and a deep cleaning of cobwebs. Overall pleased with trip, outdoor space is worth it.
