This is the cleanest place we have ever rented. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. The kitchen appliances were in mint condition. The mattresses are more comfortable than the one we have at home (I meant to ask the landlord what brand they are!). It is located in a peaceful rainforest setting, and a pleasant patio overlooks sheep, goats, cattle, trees, and birds. A short walk up the trail leads to a distant ocean view (the rent is very reasonable compared to oceanfront/ocean view rentals.) The location is central to the west side of the island, only a few minutes from the best grocery store, about 15 minutes from Frederiksted, and 15 minutes from the best shore diving sites near Cane Bay on the north shore. The landlord accommodated our need to rinse and dry our dive gear by letting us use the hose, and we could drape everything over the patio railing. He also came to the airport, led us to the grocery store, and then on to the apartment; It would have been hard to find without his assistance, but was easy and convenient once we knew the way.

Located in the rain forest, the setting is beautiful. The unit was clean and cool, even without the AC running, and we were there in the summer. It even included a washer and dryer. We didn't use the kitchen much but it had everything needed. I would stay here again.

This was a return stay, and I welcomed the peace, comfort, and beauty more than ever. This place and the welcoming generosity of Bonnie and Roy in providing it, makes it a home away from home with the added touches of luxury and everything you could possibly need to have a perfect stay for vacation, work, or a simple and joyful respite. I will be back, for sure!

Very pleasant and clean apartment. Conveniently located and easy to get to on good roads despite its remote-feeling rainforest location.

Great place with washer dryer and full kitchen. Easily accommodate a family of four or 2 freindly coulpes.... limited privacy. Overall experience was great and we enjoyed our stay in the rain forest. Be sure to check out the Tidal pools near carobella, and Boabob tree in the nearby park.

We had a wonderful time during our stay this Holiday.The place is very relaxing, clean and nicely designed, it has everything needed to make the stay enjoyable.Roy is a very accommodating host, we hope to go back soon!

We stayed at Nature's Ridge March 5th - March 9th and I honestly have never stayed in a better place while on vacation for safety, peace and relaxation. Roy and Bonnie V. are the most gracious hosts. Even though my cousins and I were there for only a short time we felt like we were home away from home. The apartment is modern and spotless. All you need to take with you are your personal items. Everything else is provided. I do suggest a Jeep or SUV rental as the road to the apartment is a bit rough but well worth the drive. Bring some hiking shoes so that you can hike the rain forest and enjoy the flora and fauna around the apartment building and along the road up the mountain. There is a working farm with ducks, turkeys, goats, cattle, and more next door so there is plenty to see. The pond is home to native birds as well. We slept with the windows open and the sounds of nature was pure music. The apartment is just a few miles from the shops and beautiful beaches of Frederiksted. If I am ever fortunate to return to St. Croix I would definitely choose to stay at Nature's Ridge. Five Stars and Two Thumbs Up.

To start this is not your average hotel stay. They first meet you at the airport to greet you and show you to their home.(a nice touch for those unfamiliar with the island). The house is beautiful, very peaceful, and serene. Clean is an understatement. The cantons include everything you need to get out and enjoy the island.(too much to list). Nature's Ridge will not let you go without anything. There goal is to ensure your stay is great. And they do! They are unbelievable people. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else ever. This vacation was really not a vacation, me and my husband came with his mom and brother for a funeral. Although we searched for a place to stay and I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness and updated things. I saw the pictures on line and I was hoping that it will look similar once we arrive. We booked and we reached there, the owner was waiting for us at the airport and he was so patient as we waited for our bags and rental car. He showed us how to get to the apartment and he gave a tour of it. Me and my husband was amazed because it looked just like the photos and it was what I wanted. Everything from cleaning supplies to cooking supplies are there for use. I felt like I was home. It was my first time here but my husband and family is from here. This will be a place that I will recommend, which I never post a comment but I had to definitely because the owners did a outstanding job and his wife was so nice and welcoming. Thank you guys both.

I brought my wife and two children to St. Croix from Tennessee. We really wanted a nice clean place to stay and didn't really care about the beach that much as we knew any beach would not be far away. We saw the pictures online if Mr. Canton's place and took a gamble. We had already been looking at other places online and were not very impressed. When we arrived at his place and showed us in we were greatly pleased. It exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do it justice. Everything was in order. All items for eating and sleeping and washing bathing and grilling was provided for. Just bring your food and clothes and rent a car. The room we were in accomodated my family easily. Plus living in the mountains of the rainforest is so beautiful and peaceful. Stores like Kmart and plaza west grocery very near. All we can say is come here and you won't be disappointed but renewed relaxed and ready to enjoy your stay in St. Croix.
