The property is located a decent stroll to the Town. Its at the top of a hill. Some could fund that challenging.
The facilities are basic.

The view from my room was right over Oban harbour, lovely to look at even in bad weather!

Best room ever. Spacious and lovely. We loved the sea view. The bed was comfy as well and there was a modern coffee machine as well.

Great welcome from the owner who is extremely helpful and friendly. Fantastic location with a beautiful view down to the port. Very comfortable room and our overnight stay was very relaxing.
We had to share a bathroom which wasn't a huge problem but slightly inconvenient in the middle of the night

The view to the harbour was great! And the breakfast was so delicious! I loved that you could decide the day before from what you want, there are several options, also for vegans! It is made with love and the owners are more than kind and lovely. They gave us plenty of tips about what you can do and all their recommendations were wonderful. Thank you - hope to come back one day!
That i stayed too short! Malllaig is a wonderful place to stay at!

The bedroom is very comfortable and big. It's a private sink in the room, a dolce gusto with coffee and milk, and it's a smart tv with netflix.

The room we had was large. They had a knock off brand Nespresso coffee maker that worked very well. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean everything was and in particular the large, shared bathrooms. It is a short walk down the hill to the Oban harbor, shops, and restaurants.
Parking is on private property but can be challenging depending on where there is a space available. (Hint: watch the short, small wall)
No hooks, or towel bars in the room. No TV.

Lovely view onto the harbour, very cozy and clean and secluded, a stone’s throw from town centre and the promenade. Thus, 1,000% recommended :)

A great view and a clean and comfortable room
Very difficult to find- just a small sign set well back from the road.
It would be nice to be greeted on arrival -I had no contact with owners at all.

Beautiful beautiful views from the guesthouse, and very bright, clean and modern room hidden in a characterful homely house! Hotel-standard room but with far more character and cosiness outside of your room! Perfect

We’ll situated and clean guest house with a nice tv in the room! 10 min walk to the Main Street in Oban and easy to find. Freindly staff!

The room was very large with a very comfortable bed. The tea and coffee facilities were very good and the room was very clean. The bathroom facilities were good.
The bathroom facilities were good but you had to share with everyone else in the house, which meant four rooms(8 people) when fully occupied. This was not mentioned in the brief on the site. The tea and coffee was not replemished on a daily basis, but had to ask the owner.
