From first contact to check out - perfect. The host was so accommodating with all of my questions (&I had a lot!!). The property manager was incredibly friendly and helpful, always there if we needed him. The house is stunning - the beach was perfect. All information given was on point, exactly as described. We woke up to the most perfect ocean view every morning, listening to birds and watching countless whales cresting on the sparkling sea. Words cannot even describe how much we enjoyed every day we were here. We did hire Demaris to cook our meals while we were there and they were soo delicious - some of the best food we had during our entire stay in Mexico. Definitely recommend going to Villa Del Faro, only a few kms down the road - gorgeous property, excellent food and drinks. It was an event of its own! I hope to return one day - Casa Vinorama is heaven.

This was a beautiful property - perfect for what we needed, complete relaxation and quiet. Property manager was great, and Leo was really helpful and kind. You can get to the property with a normal car, the road is very manageable if dry. The views and beach were stunning, whales breaching offshore, and rays jumping. A very special place. We will definitely be back!

A gorgeous home, beautifully decorated and the layout is perfect for a group/family. We prefer rentals vs a hotel and this home offered everything on our wish list. We always rent a 4x4 car in SJD, to go off the beaten path (Cabo Pulmo, etc) so the rental was easy for us to access and we prefer to stay away from the crowd. We look forward to returning!

This property is as-advertised. Beautiful location on the beach. Great surf fishing for experienced anglers. We can't say enough about Leo the caretaker. He definitely enhanced our experience. Having an AWD/4WD is essential. Very comfortable accommodations. Be mindful that it is solar which was a plus for us. Last but not least, we can't leave out our four legged ambassadors Diva, and Bear. They were a pleasure to have around. We will definitely be coming back!!

My wife and I stayed at this home for 5 nights. We had an incredible stay and wished it would have been for longer. The house is clean and well appointed, the caretaker Leo was always available and the beach the house sits on is beautiful. Nothing as far as you can see to the north. A few homes and the hotel VidaSoul to the south. We saw two other people on this beach our entire stay. During our stay we surfed, explored nearby beaches, went diving in Cabo Pulmo and had a few great meals prepared by Naomi.

This might be my favorite house we’ve stayed at yet!! The kitchen is amazing, has everything you could need. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, lots of extra space to stay as well. The property is private and gorgeous. That palapa is awesome and perfect for lounging. I loved the inside and outside dining options. My favorite thing was whomever designed this house took into account wind flow; we didn’t need the A/C at all!! Leo is an amazing property manager, there we needed him but invisible the rest of the time. My only recommendation is this sight needs up to date photos because these don’t do it justice! I really wish I could just live there forever!! Thank you so very much for sharing your home♥️

Great place!

This is a truly amazing house; 180 degree ocean view; you have the sandy beach almost to yourselves; and Leo and Zindy were very sweet and helpful. This is a rare and wonderful vacation spot!

We had the most peaceful and wonderful stay - wished we had booked for another week! The home was impeccably clean upon arrival. Leo and Zindy are fantastic and her homemade meals delightful. Fortunately we have friends who live very close by and did some grocery shopping for us ahead of time. Prepare to settle in and just enjoy being here because you will be quite remote. We for sure hope and intend to return as long as Mark will have us! Thank you Mark and family for a wonderful place to land and unwind!

The house was great and the palapa is world class in its size and view of the ocean out front.

Our expectations were exceeded for this property. We enjoyed the outdoor patio and pool everyday. The boys (13 and 15) spent countless hours in the ocean right out front- surfing, swimming, snorkeling, spear fishing. Leo and Zindy and their son Kieran were great hosts and the nicest people. I recommend purchasing some of Zindy’s dinners- out of this world! She made special vegetarian versions for me and they were all delicious. The owners provide access to all kinds of beach gear which we really appreciated. This was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. Thanks for having us- we will be back!

Even better in real life! Perfect location with many surf spots nearby (right in front of house was the perfect spot for a few of our days). Beautiful home, had everything we needed and more. Leo and his wife were wonderful, the meals we had them make were awesome! We loved this trip, such a special place.

Perfect location to hit a wide variety of breaks and get out to snorkel in Cabo Pulmo with the non-surfers!

We stayed in the casita behind this 'main' house for three vacations (loving it) and then had the opportunity to stay in the main house, oceanfront in 2015. It was a luxury! Endless ocean and beachfront views, wonderful outdoor dining on the large veranda with barbeque, beautiful landscaping and furnishings on the veranda as well as in the house. Every thing one needs for cooking meals for a crowd or for two. Quiet. Miles of private beaches. Good shore fishing. This last trip - Pampano, Flag Cabrilla, Orangesided Triggerfish, Burrito Grunt, Mexican Hogfish and Banded Wrasse. Migrating whales viewed from the veranda, exceptional sunsets. Fresh produce nearby once a week or from the vendor as he drives by to market. Surfing nearby at Nine Palms. If you don't feel like cooking or like live music, the Crossroads is a short walk down the beach. Close to snorkeling in Cabo Pulmo or exploring the hills of Sierra de la Trinidad. This is luxury and adventure without the crowds. We thank Dawn for her contagious vibrancy she shares, and kindnesses as a hostess. You will not be disappointed. A bit of heaven to us which we hope to enjoy again.

We stayed here for a couple weeks after our other vacation rental bailed on us last minute. The house is amazing with lots of privacy, great views, and close to surf. Huge patio to relax on, as you don't spent much time indoors. Dawn was a great host, had heaps of advice, and was more than accommodating if you need to borrow something ( beach chairs, coolers, fishing poles etc...) Also the kitchen here is FULLY stocked with everything you could need to cook for big family dinners! All in all a great place to stay! No doubt we will be back!

Its a true hidden gem! I sure hope its available as much as possible because we love going down there.

My fiance, Mike, and I, rented Dawn's Casita two years ago and this July we rented her home, RIGHT on the water, so that my parent's could join us. Mike has surfed these beaches for 20 years and when he took me to Dawn's Casita two years ago, I fell in love with everything to the point I was in tears having to leave it: the ease of her home, given she thinks of everything, the lovely landscape and grounds she has created, the convenience and comfort in an off the grid location, the spectacular views and sound of the ocean; so when we thought of where we wanted to go this year, our only requirement, was to head to Dawn's. My parents quickly fell in love with it in the way we did...it's contagious. There is certainly a magic here, that I haven't experienced elsewhere, which led us to decide to have our wedding here in the next few months. Dawn is the expert of the area in all regards, an amazing host, and a true talent in creating a space that you just want to seep into and make your own. Mike begged me not to write this, so that he can reserve this place any time he wants, but in all fairness to Dawn, and to you, the one in need of a real get away that leaves you smiling from your core, I had to let you know about our experiences here.
