Our stay at Sanctuary in the Dunes was everything we hoped it would be and more. Our condo was excellent, very clean and stocked well with all that we needed for our months stay. We enjoyed the Monterey area and the restaurants we went to had such awesome seafoods. We will definitely go back again as we enjoyed being close to the ocean and beach to take daily walks on the boardwalk and on the beach. We have many great memories of our stay and definitely would like to return again.

Ocean Retreat
Overall, we had a wonderful time while staying at this property. I would have given this property five stars for everything but there was one problem that went unresolved. Parking. We were unable to get our car into the parking enclosure not because the garage was too small but because another homeowner’s car made it impossible to enter or exit. We ended up having to park on the street which was often congested with no parking places due to beach goers. I found the response to our parking situation from Sanctuary fell short. In all other respects, the property was delightful as was the Sanctuary staff.

Lovely property and location. Stunning views. Being lulled to sleep every night by the roar of crashing waves was magical.

Beautiful and delightful apt.
Had a one month stay at this property in Monterey and found the apt. absolutely delightful, beautifully renovated and decorated with great sound system/kitchen. This end-unit has a unique ocean view with the soothing sounds of the ocean. The only problem encountered was that the covered parking spaced has an extremely narrow entrance and only suitable for parking of a small car. The on premise guest parking is only available for 5days, after that, got notices from HOA regarding not considered a guest. HOA did not approve the proper sticker for parking at the space allocated to the owner of the apt. Had to park on the street....
