We really enjoyed our stay in this lake house. The deck was so relaxing. The yard was perfect for the kids to run around! If we had any issues Hank was just a call or text away. I loved coming into the house with a personalized letter from Lori welcoming us. The whole house was beautiful and clean.

This property is perfect. The amenities are beyond words. Plenty to do in the area but we went to relax and regroup.Mission accomplished! The views were spectacular. Mountains,lake,wildlife,sunrise and sunset you get it all. Our host Hank was the best. He was always available and accommadating. Possibly the best I have ever dealt with. Lovely home with a great sunroom area with hot tub overlooking the lake. Very clean with all starter amenities provided. Great fire pit and grilling area. Hank is an excellent host! Very gracious and readily available. Will definitely return for future ATV/boating family getaways!

The pictures do no do it justice! The house was amazing. The location was perfect. If you want to feel secluded but still minutes from town, this is the place. The deck with hot tub, and fireplace was extremely relaxing with views of the water. Awesome mancave for watching movies. The host is greatly accommodating. This vacation was exactly what we needed!! We will definitely try to visit again.

We were looking for quiet downtime. If this is what you desire, you will enjoy it.

The place is bigger and nicer than in the photos! Everything was very clean, well equipped, and comfortable. Hank was just a text or call away and very polite, and left us to our privacy. Excellent location on a quiet part of the lake, with lots of fish. Can't believe it was so tucked away and quiet, and only 8 minutes away from excellent grocery store and plenty of restaurants. We would recommend this wonderful place and gracious hosts to everyone. Thanks so much Hank and Lori!!!

Loved the quiet lake location, Hardly any other boat traffic by our dock. Hank was very attentive to anything we asked about during our trip. Another great vacation on Norris Lake!

This is a great property located in a quiet cove of Lake Norris. The house had plenty of room for our whole family. And the owner was easily assessable when needed.

The cabin was decorated nicely, very cozy and clean. Felt right at home as soon as we walked in. Hank, the owner, was very quick to respond to questions. Had all the kitchenware you would ever need and the beds were comfortable. Check in and out was very easy.

This lake is great. 2 weeks ago none of us had heard of Lake Norris. The house was awesome . We loved the hot tub and fireplace on the deck overlooking the lake. The fire pit is perfectly placed out near the edge of the hill with comfy seating. You won’t find better hosts. Did I mention the unbelievable views?

Our family had the most amazing time. Everything was perfect!! We couldn't have asked for anything more!!

My family and I had a wonderful Christmas and New Year vacation. The home was cozy and just right for me and my family. Any questions or concerns, Hank would quickly reply and assist us. The fireplace in the primary room was breathtaking for my husband and I. We have a disable brother and he was able to get around the property with no problems.God bless Hank and Lori in 2021.

Had the best time staying here. It was clean and comfortable. There were 6 of us and two dogs and there was plenty of space. The views are lovely. It was quiet and peaceful.

We were there in the winter so the water levels were low, but the house is cozy with wonderful beds, an excellent kitchen and plenty of space. Hank was super friendly and shared some lovely ideas for trips around the area. Great little escape.

Excellent stay for a last min SxS trip with a group of friends. The house had everything we needed and was close to one of the trail systems we wanted to ride. We were able to ride right from the house or easily haul the trailer about 30 min to another set of trails for the day! The hot tub on the porch was a great addition. Communication with Hank was easy and he was always available to help with any issues we had.

This place was amazing! The hot tub was perfect after a long day riding out ATV's. The house was very clean and well kept. We had a great time and Mr. Hank is the nicest guy. Very friendly and quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had.

Everything about this vacation was top-notch! We have done multiple VRBO's in the past, but this property was the best! And I can't say enough about Hank the host, and person. The place had everything you would need for time away! Thanks for everything Hank!

We had a wonderful time at this property. The location is great. In addition to being on the water with a great dock, it is located very conveniently to hiking and ATV trails, marinas, a nearby park to launch boats, close to town, etc. We enjoyed our time on beautiful Norris lake. The house was well appointed with everything we needed. We loved the covered deck with hot tub and fireplace along with the patio for hanging out and grilling. The host - Hank - was top notch. He was very responsive to our questions and helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place. .

It's hard to imagine better hosts that Hank and Lori. Wonderful setting, wonderful cabin (with a few eccentricities, just like its renters) and wonderful weather, for which we also give credit to the Hamblins.

The property is as described and Hank makes it feel like home. We would rent again.

First, Hank and Lori are very hospitable. Hank was quick to answer all my questions about the home prior to our stay. Also, upon check-in a few things had been overlooked by their cleaning staff, Hank & Lori quickly came to remedy the situation and remained very accessible throughout our stay. I think they take great pride in making sure their guests enjoy their visit. The house is tucked into a quiet spot on the lake, so it is very peaceful! The hot tub & massage chairs are also a nice perk. However, there are just a few things to note about the house – if you have any mobility issues this may not be the house for you. The stairs getting down to the lake are long and treacherous. The last 10 steps are a ladder not stairs. The stairs were also unstable in parts – in need of some maintenance. I think this would be a very tough climb for families with young children or older adults. The other issue is the water pressure. It is very weak. You will need to plan accordingly if you have a large group as 2 things cannot run at the same time (shower/dishwasher, shower/toilet etc.). The last thing is the removal of garbage. I was very off put that I had to bring the garbage offsite. I have no problem taking trash to the curb for pick up but in all my years of renting VRBOs never have I had to put the trash in my car and drive it to a dump. Yuck! For the amount we paid per night, I find this unacceptable. This should be the owner’s responsibility NOT the guests. Put large garbage cans on the property and have your maintenance staff haul it away after each guest leaves. Problem solved. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but it is not the right house for us.

Beautiful home on the water! The house is perfectly maintained and Hank has well equipped the home with everything his guests need to have a wonderful time. He is the perfect host and we appreciate that he accommodated us when we asked to stay another day. My family loved the property, the lake, and all the accommodations of the home and we hope to be back soon!!!
