A great week in a great chalet! We have enjoyed big time and hope to come back in the near future!!!!

Un grand chalet chaleureux et tres bien équipé, de l’espace, une belle cheminée et une belle vue sur les montagnes, de bonnes conditions pour partager de bons moments ..

Notre séjour a été absolument fantastique ! Le chalet est très bien placé, très spacieux, très bien orienté, et remarquablement bien équipé et décoré. Le grand luxe !

Très beau chalet, extrêmement confortable, avec beaucoup d'espace, décoration chaleureuse et vue magnifique sur la vallée.

We enjoyed the chalet very much. It is a nice furnished and maintained house with a lot of entertainment, especially being together as a 17 persons family in one house was amazing. Thanks from our side that we could experience Les Frangins!

After a week in this chalet, it felt like home. Nicely decorated, spacious, well maintained. Great feature are the many bathrooms. Every room has a private one. And the pool table and jacuzzi were great as well. Big kitchen with all features. And to go skiing just grab the bus. It goes two ways, or to Vonnes or to Super chatel.

This is an amazing chalet to stay in, thank you Adam! We were 4 families, 8 adults & 8 kids - all able to fit and not feel squashed. The pictures don't do justice to the actual size & quality of the place. We were met by Francis who showed us where everything was & how it worked and was able to give good advice on the local area. The huge living room could comfortably seat us all & even have room for the kids to put on a show! The kitchen had everything we needed with two ovens & massive fridge & freezers. The chalet was set at just the right temperature, though we couldn't resist lighting the huge fire once or twice just for the feel! The bedrooms & bathrooms were spotlessly clean and the beds were some of the comfiest we have ever had. Watching the sun slip behind the mountains from the hot tub & sauna was a perfect way to relax after a full day on the slopes, and the games room great to keep everyone entertained later on. It was a pleasure to have a proper sized boot room where we could all get changed without being on top of each other. The location is great too, plenty of shops near by and the ski bus stop is just a couple of minutes up the hill. We had a couple of large vehicles so mostly drove to the different lifts depending on the conditions - great access to all of Chatel, Morgins & the Swiss side and easy access into Avoriaz . Overall a brilliant holiday & hope to return again soon!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine ; nous étions 16 et n’avons jamais eu l’impression d’être à l’étroit . La décoration de la maison est très cosy et chaleureuse avec des prestations exceptionnelles ( Lits faits à l’arrivée , chaussons et peignoirs de bain fournis , jacuzzi, sauna , cheminée avec tout le bois nécessaire) Nous avions eu la chance d’avoir un temps magnifique et de pouvoir même profiter du soleil sur la terrasse Le service de location de skis à domicile est très efficace et c’est un réel plus de ne pas avoir à se déplacer À Châtel on peut skier mais aussi faire des rackets dans des endroits superbes ; une piscine se trouve à 5 mn à pied de la location En résumé : séjour fantastique que petits et grands ont vraiment apprécié

Chalet fonctionnel, confortable très bien adapté et équipé pour une famille de 14 personnes voire 16. Intérieur chaleureux , un grand merci pour la décoration de Noël qui a ravi petits et grands. Bon accueil de Frances et Glen qui sont réactifs et efficaces.

Excellent chalet, bon emplacement pour les activités d'été. Très bien equipé et au calme.

The chalet was fantastic in all ways. Very clean and well equipped. The chalet was furnished very tastefully and was very welcoming and homely. We were a group of 16 made up of 4 families and the layout of the chalet worked very well. We ate in most evenings, the kitchen was large and well equipped which made it easy to cater for 16 people. The jacuzzi was enjoyed by all. The boot/ski room was well layed out which made it easy in the mornings when all 16 of us were putting on our boots. The ski bus is only a very small walk away and made it easy getting to all the ski lifts from the Chalet. We were welcomed on arrival by a very nice couple who showed us around and explained the workings of the chalet. Communication with the owner was also extremely good prior to our visit. Would definitely go back.

Mieux que sur les photos, ce chalet est spacieux ( nous étions 15 avec des ados). Il est superbement équipé et de plus, avec beaucoup de goût et de charme. Adam, Glen ainsi que leurs amis vous acceuillent avec empathie. Nous avons tous adoré être ici. Tout est en anglais, même là télé. Àdam, la tv française serait un plus. Literie, serviettes, peignoirs...de haute qualité. Nous reviendrons sûrement. Merci

Valley views, pool table, spa, sauna, Alexa and plenty of spectacular skiing in all directions! Thank you Adam for sharing this gem of a chalet with us. Superhuis, zeer comfortabel en echt van alle gemakken voorzien

This was a truly wonderful chalet for our skiing holiday in Chatel - Portes du Soleil with our large group of 12 people. The chalet is extraordinarily well-equipped, well-designed and welcoming. It has a lovely and spacious living and dining area, a large and fully equipped kitchen and many bedrooms each with their own bathroom. There is parking space on the font porch for four cars, an outdoor jacuzzi (our kids loved this after a long skiing day), and a spacious ski-gear and boot room with warming poles for the ski boots. We were made very welcome with all of the beds ready made and with plenty of towels, bath robes and toiletries. The location is ideal, very close to the ski bus stop. Both the bakery and supermarket are at 5-10 mins walking distance, and Chatel's centre square at 15 mins. Chatel itself is a lovely authentic village with many nice restaurants and shops, while being at a great location within the large Portes du Soleil area: super skiing guaranteed. We would more than recommend this chalet for a lovely and unforgettable stay: after having rented many chalets in many skiing areas for more than 20 years we have unanimously voted this our number one.

The teenagers especially enjoyed the game room at night. Friendly and helpfulness hosts and property manager. Chatel is beautiful with great outdoor activities in the summer.

The chalet was equipped to a very high standard and beautifully furnished, with everything we could need for our holiday. We had fantastic weather, so were able to make the most of the outside spaces and the best mountain views. The hot-tub was a perfectly placed to make the most of the views. There were lots of things to do in the area, which kept everybody happy, from our two young daughters, to the mother-in-law, in fact we didn’t get around to do all we’d planned. We did Fantasticable, mountain toboggan, pony riding, goat village, water-park at Evian and swam in Lake Geneva, to name a few. There were plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from within walking distance of the chalet, making life very easy when there is a mixture of generations to cater for. We all had a fantastic time, especially our eldest daughter, who upon leaving asked when we could come back again. Many thanks

Wonderfully easy start with SkiHire2U arriving at the chalet on the first evening to fit the kit that we had ordered, they also collected the kit from the excellent boot room (boot heaters, plenty of space on benches for all of us etc) after we left! The Chalet itself manages to be both huge & cosy, great open plan living room with a roaring fire, huge dining table, great kitchen, amazing views from balcony and bedroom plus a sauna and hot tub for easing aches! Great skiing around Plaine Dranse, loads of friendly Blues and some not unfriendly Reds though the are plenty of 'dark' Reds and more for the more adventurous. Further afield, Avoriaz, Morzine and even Switzerland easily accessible, with the ski parks @ Super Chatel definitely worth a visit. We had a couple of brilliant instructors/ guides, booked via the chalet info, catering both for a couple of beginners and some fearless teenagers! We ate a couple of times on the mountain (though the chalet is easily close enough to head back for lunch), Chez Crepy at Plaine Dranse if definitely worth a lunch visit though Chez Babeth is a cute little lodge I liked, pretty much out of sight behind Crepy but worth finding as great little hideaway for a vin chaud! In Chatel, restaurants Bistro M, La Poya, Genepi all excellent. La Poya not cheap but amazing food and for a group the Raclette @ Cafe Zeph should also be near the top of your 'to do' list. Avalanche and Nasca are both fun bars for drinks with all the above an easy walk from the chalet.

Everything had been beautifully thought through with great decoration, lots of wood for the fire, comfy sofas and even plenty of plug adaptors! The kitchen was well equipped to cater for our two families,including girlfriends - 16 in all (though a second dish washer would have given extra luxury, and the dining table seats 14). The sauna and hot tub were much enjoyed by us all. The two bus stops are within easy walking distance though the free buses are not quite as frequent as they say they are. The skiing was brilliant with fresh snow even in April, and plenty of sunshine too. We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the stunning views in the evening sun. We would love to return!

Wow! This is a beautiful chalet. Very well equipped and in a great location - just a few minutes walk from the village centre and a stones throw from the free ski bus. Beautiful bedrooms with comfortable beds, and superb communal areas. Hot tub and sauna were great for reviving achy ski legs at the end of the day! and the games room was an added bonus. Only slight disappointment was that we all ran out of the complementary Temple Spa toiletries after a couple of days. Communications with the owner Adam; Glen from Alpine quests who arranged transfers and Skihire2u were all excellent. Glen even managed to arrange a transfer at short notice for us when our flights were cancelled. This was a great trip thoughroughly enjoyed by all our party. I would highly recommend Chalet Fragins and look forward to staying here again.

The chalet exceeded all of Our expectations, the photographs don’t do justice to how luxuriously appointed it is. The beds were the comfiest I’ve slept in in any ski chalet I’ve stayed, made up with luxurious Egyptian cotton linen. The location of the chalet couldn’t have been more convenient, being only a short walk from both the ski bus stop and the centre of the village. The ski area is vast, with many wonderful restaurants on the pistes that won’t break the bank! 10/10!!

A fantastic chalet, with great attention to detail, our party of 6 children and 8 adults found it plenty big enough to not be on top of each other , yet still cosy. By far our favourite chalet we have stayed in. Bus is a stones throw from the chalet and takes minutes to get to chairlifts, with ski rental, a small supermarket and the local aqua centre about 200m away there was no need to venture far. The large kitchen and dining area made it perfect for eating in. We will definitely be back!!
