Very well-appointed condo. Kitchen has everything you need for a longer stay. Comfy bed in master bedroom. Large shower and jetted tub in master bath, although vanity area could use some renovation. Huge balcony with a great view of the Gulf. Gated property with lots of amenities. Owner was very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

Wow! Where to begin. Starting with communication w/Fred, the owner. We were originally coming down from Wed to Wed but we waited too long to reserve (day of), so it pushed to Thursday. We were going to do a hotel, but a quick response from Fred allowed us to check in that Wednesday. Awesome! Place is beautiful. 24 hour secure community. 11th floor with beautiful views of the ocean. Every day was sunny. Unit was very well updated with nice furniture and a wonderful family sized kitchen table. Short walk to the beach and two pools. My crazy kids went in the pool (even as cold it was) and had a blast. The balcony is huge and we had a number of our breakfasts there. Plenty of room in the unit and a neat bunk bed w/trundle for kids. Great location. We hadn't been to Miramar Beach but it was nicely situated between plenty of restaurants and shopping in both directions. Highly recommend and we would love to visit again.

This place has a fantastic blend of being a large property near all the amenities while offering the ability to walk down the nearby unspoiled in populated beach.

The property was very nice. It has a nice pool deck. We loved being on the beach. The condo was clean and the kitchen & living room area were nice & updated. The sofa has been replaced. It in not the sea foam color in the pics, but it was still nice. The bedrooms could use some updates but they are comfortable. The best part is the balcony. It is very large and has a great view of the ocean. Excellent for morning coffee and evenings. Defiantly plan to visit again.

1108 is a spacious condo that easily accommodated me, my husband and our two young kids. The view was the best part for me- the bunk beds were my kids’ favorite. Great location - super close to the elevator. The pool area was well maintained and was very peaceful.

We love the ability to get a good fish sandwich at the grill on the way to the beach, take a long walk on the endless empty beaches of the bird preserve next door, and stop for a cool swim in the pool at the end of the day!

We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the property as the smell of bleach greeted us as we opened the door. The beds slept well, the kitchen supplies were plentiful, and the condo furniture was nice. However, there are a few condo details that are showing age and wear. Small things like rusty bathroom light fixtures, desilvering spots in the mirrors, and missing knob parts would be fairly inexpensive updates, but would make the condo feel much nicer. No biggies, but it is noticeable. The proximity to the elevators was not a problem at all, and you'd never even know they were a few feet away. Overall, Tops'l Tides is always a great property with good amenities. The upper pool and the putt putt course have been updated since our last visit (pre-Covid), so that was a nice surprise. Thank you!

Great place very clean and comfortable

Correction - we stayed from 4/10 - 4/17. We checked in late Saturday (4/10) night and immediately noticed that the Master Bedroom mattress was sagging and there was no pullout sofa bed in the living room. Too tired to call anyone at mid-night after 16 hours of driving, we managed for the night and reported the issues first thing in the morning. The master toilet was also blocked after the first use so I started calling the maintenance numbers provided in the apartment. There was a recent change in property management from Vacasa to someone else but all the numbers provided were for Vacasa and they kept telling me that they don’t manage the property anymore. I finally caught hold of property manager (Sena) and reported the issues on Sunday 4/11 @ 0810 hrs, he assured that someone will be there to fix it in the afternoon and admitted that the listing was not updated for sleep 4 instead of 6 as they recently got new furniture for the living room.No one showed up to fix the maintenance issue until afternoon, I tried calling Sena, left text messages but no reply so I decided to open a case with VRBO on Sunday night. I provided pictures and my text messages with Sena to VRBO, they assured follow up in the morning - again nothing all day on Monday 4/12 so I called VRBO again on Monday night @ 10 PM. This time they got hold of the owner, Fred, he apologized for the inconvenience, assured resolution ASAP and offered partial refund for first 3 nights pending confirmation from his partners. The issues were fixed by Tuesday PM and we were finally able to have a comfortable stay. At check out on Saturday (4/17), I texted Fred and followed up on the refund for first 3 nights and he told me that he will get back after talking to his partners by PM. No update till Sunday so I followed up via text, I was shocked to see the response - Fred accused me back for the issues and threatened to put me on the DNR list if I tried to ask for any refund. I reached back to VRBO after my conversation with the owner but have not received a final resolution yet.

We loved the tides and the condo! Great activities for kids and the restaurant by the pool has great food and drinks. It's our third time staying at the Tides and we will be back. It's close to shopping and restaurants but off the beaten path so you don't feel overwhelmed with too many people!

We loved this condominium. It was spotless and all the pictures posted are accurate. Loved having restaurants on site and chair rentals. The only complaint we have is that if it’s windy, you won’t get much sleep because it’s very loud inside the condominium. We believe it’s something to do with the main entrance door. Otherwise very, very nice.

Love the location and ammenities. Worked well for our family of 4 and entertaining friends.

We loved this property! It was perfect, especially with the trundle bed for our youngest. There were a few things in the condo that could use fixing/replacing, but it didn’t hinder us from staying. The view from the big triangle balcony is amazing. Near the elevator so that was easy as well. We had 3 adults and 2 kids and this 2 bedroom condo overlooking the turquoise waters of the Gulf from the 11th floor was an ideal location. Would stay again!

It does have the ocean sounds and breeze in ample quantity. The property is older than the pictures indicate (good photography) and the hot tub is unusable and the sofa / loveseat extremely worn. The upgraded floors and kitchen are nice. The on site restaurant is very good with great service, and another restaurant is in close walking distance along the beach, so not leaving the property often was a nice feature.

We enjoyed our stay . We always stay at the Tides . We liked the view of the ocean . Everything was ready for us when we got there . We stopped by Walmart & got groceries. We had a restful time .

My family had a wonderful time in Miramar beach. The accommodations were excellent, wonderful views and close to the beach. Would recommend this property.

The pictures were deceiving on the location. The view made it look like it was closer to the beach. Walking around entire building in between another building to get to beach entry. Pool entry was closed. With kids, it was a 10-15 walk. Condo could be updated. Suggestion to take your own bedding. Bedding looked yellow and stained, not really sure if it was cleaned. Could definitely use deep cereal bowls in kitchen. Take house shoes or your feet will be black from the dirty floor. Multiple light bulbs out and the lights that did work were dim. Be prepared to be woke up early due to room is right next to elevator and people are noisy in the hall. Bedrooms are right when you walk in the door. Spacious condo, alright view, big patio. If you don't take your own chairs for beach, be prepared to pay $40 and get there to reserve early. They won't allow you to setup canopies or umbrellas past there "paid" umbrella service and will tell you to move back or way down the beach. Make sure you have cash for paying toll in and out, they don't take cards. I probably wouldn't stay here at this location again.

We really loved the view and size of the outdoor space of this unit. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. We would definitely rent from here again!

We had a great stay. The condo was neat, clean, and very inviting. The view of the beach was not what I thought it was but excellent all the same. The facility had tons of stuff to offer and other opportunities were very close. Unfortunately the roads in the area are under construction but that is out of facilities control. Great Place beach was beautiful and I would recommend this place.

Excellent time! Condo was awesome! Perfect view to watch fire from the balcony! We enjoyed the pools! Everyone was super nice!

This is the second year we have stayed at the Tops’l resort. Last year we had a wonderful stay with no issues. This condo was not cleaned appropriately before we arrived. There was urine on the toilet seats and sand on the floor that needed to be swept up. The dishwasher was not working. We put in a maintenance request on day 4 and it was fixed on day 4. The repair man said the water had been shut off previously so he assumed it had already been looked at, just not fixed. The baseboard in the master bath was broken and missing. The outside patio chair legs were rusted to the point they were not level. Individually these things were no issue but in combination it was frustrating, especially after reading previous reviews. When we didn’t realize the dishwasher was broken we attempted to use it and it only warped all our newly purchased cups from the bar downstairs. I attempted first to contact the owner/manager listed on the form we were given but he never returned my messages. As stated previously we stayed at Topsl last year in another condo and loved it and had no issues.

Awesome property and checkin and out was easy. Condo was clean and bed was comfortable. There are a couple rules to follow but nothing too crazy. Beach access through the pool closes at 10pm and you have to walk all the way around the building if you want to hit to be ah to look for crabs at night. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back and stay at Destin 1108 again.

Other than a few minor maintenance issues, the condo (1108) was GREAT! The food at the pool grill was excellent, and Lori (server) was FANTASTIC!! We would definitely stay here again. The only downside is checkout is at 10AM.
