Property was close to the beach. Loved the front door pool access. We were a little nervous being in a duplex with a family full of children, but everything was great. The guests in the other properties were just as family friendly. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

The house was wonderful- clean and spacious. The property included great amenities including a pool and hot tub that we used a ton… The kitchen was well equipped and in good working order. The house had lots of space for our kids of all ages to enjoy. The location was great, a short walk to the beach and lots of extras in the storage room for us to make our beach experience fun! The property manager was prompt and helpful!

We spent week after Christmas at this home with another family. We all enjoyed the home. Loved the dock to bay and short walk to beach. Weather was amazing and we were all very comfortable

Perfect location, short walk to the beach and attached in ground pool. With small children the pool is a must because trekking beach accessories every day is a lot. The pier was awesome for fishing and kayaking in the lagoon. Perfect views from each side on the upstairs. All the amenities needed and very clean. Would recommend to anyone with a large group heading to Gulf Shores

this replaced a cruise that was canceled due to Covid. we all had a great time and there were activities for all ages. the wagon was great for getting to the beach and we all rode bikes and fished of the pier. We caught enough crabs to cook for dinner. At least one store and one resteraunt is walkable distance

A great location and accommodation for getting away with family and friends. Beautiful house, pool and boardwalk. Large dining table makes dinner and fun indoors easy, and sheltered picnic table and grill make for easy dining al fresco. Short (less than half mile) walk to the beach in either direction, and the wagon hauls your gear (and sleeping toddler). Storage room has chairs and beach toys for children of all ages. Short drive to restaurants, bars and the beachfront entertainment, the only drawback is there’s no bar or restaurant reasonably walkable.

We are very pleased with our stay at the Bama Blue. Check in/out was very easy and I had great communication with the owner. The house is very nice and well taken care of. Easy access to beach and pool. We would stay here again!

Great living space, fully stocked, and great location to both the lagoon and the beach.

The house was spacious, clean, and well-stocked. We loved the easy access to the hot tub and pools on the property as well as the lagoon views. The walk to the beach (about 10 mins with slow walking kids) was easy and paved. We enjoyed our stay in cold February weather and look forward to returning sometime in the warmer months!

they had everything you could possibly need. We felt right at home. My 3 little girls didn't want to leave . Best vacation ever.

It was smooth and seamless experience

I have to say, I've never stayed at a property that was so "stocked" with decent kitchen supplies, toys, and activities. There were fishing poles, kayaks, bikes, and beach toys (all in good condition) available for use. It's a about a .4 mile walk to the beach in either direction, but it looks like the city is in the process of building a walking path, so the walk should be easier in the future. It is a duplex (and also shares the pool/dock with 3 other duplex units) so don't expect seclusion, but it wasn't a big deal.

This is an excellent location for those wanting to get away from the crowds on the beach side. Home layout is good for multiple families with children. Good sized kitchen is adequate for cooking for large groups. Some appliances (fridge, oven, washing machine) need servicing, but owner is addressing that.

The home was clean, well designed for a nice size group. The location was great, an easy trip to the beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. The pool(s) were wonderful and the other guests enjoying the community areas were friendly and outgoing. I highly recommend this experience to other interested parties!!

Great location. Close to beach access. Completely outfitted with all the necessary items for the beach, or cooking the family meals, bikes and Kayaks. Comfortable beds and plenty of linens. Cool beachy feel decorations.

We've now stayed in this property twice and have thoroughly enjoyed both stays! The property has a great view of the lagoon and the beach access is a short walk or drive away. Inside, all the bedrooms are comfortable and homey. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed being able to dine in when we felt like staying in. The kids made great use of the beach toys and kayak from the storage area. Overall, it is a great property and we will likely book it again in the future!

We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the place. The view of the bay and privacy of upstairs master bedroom was good. The beds were very comfy. TV and WiFi were good especially on those rainy days. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed our walks to the ocean side every day. Beach chairs and toys available to use and we did.

We have stayed in Gulf Shores several times. Bama Blue was by far the nicest. I love Little Lagoon. Even though the weather was cool we spent lots of time on the dock with the grandkids fishing, bird watching, and crabbing. I will certainly come back in the warmer weather to go kayaking, swimming and boating. The beach was real close and we were able to go several days as the afternoon warmed up. We saw one of the best sunsets we have ever experienced one night. The local TV station even made a big deal about it. As we like seafood we found great places not very far away. We had a great meal at Bahama Bobs right on the beach. The place was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner. Definitely will stay here again. The Bama Blue was a wonderful place to stay! Exactly as advertised! Beautifully decorated, very roomy, felt just like home, but way nicer, LOL. The kitchen had everything you need to cook meals for the whole family, the linens were super comfortable, soft and clean! It was a wonderful location, it was a good walk with three kids to the beach, but there is a wagon for the residents to use, also had bicycles! The pool was perfectly located for a late night swim, we especially loved the kiddie pool, it was the perfect size and a very clean pool area. My favorite part was probably the storage area we had access to. There was plenty of things that past residents had left, such as beach gear and beach toys, which we added to. Was just a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back again!

This place was very accommodating. The decor inside is very modern beach style and so pretty. Reserving the place was such a breeze and it was a last minute reservation. The owners of the property were great and very approachable and communicative. The hot tub, pool, and dock are wonderful and it is in walking distance to the ocean. We are definitely going to book this place again in the future!

We recently stayed at this property for the second time. What a gem! The BamaBlue is comfortably and beautifully furnished. The setting is magnificent. We have some in our family who prefer a lake type setting and some prefer the beach. The BamaBlue satisfies all with direct access to the lagoon and a short walk to the beach. The owner is very easy to work with. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property with us. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay and Bama Blue was as advertised and worked great for the six of us. The fourth bedroom wasn't required but is really a set of twin beds and futon suitable for kids but not really private enough for couples, but that was pretty clear to us and we didn't need the fourth bedroom. We really enjoyed the beach nearby and appreciated the wagon to haul our stuff to the beach so we didn't have to drive and find a place to park our car. The beach is within easy walking distance and very clean. We also liked the walkway to the lagoon and the sitting area out there, but didn't use it much as we were enjoying the beach. Nice upscale place to stay and everything was clean and ready to go. Check in and out was easy with no hassles.

This house has it all...gorgeous views of both the bay and the beach, and a fabulous pool area! The short five minute walk to the beach is a breeze with the two beach wagons provided to transport the day's necessities. After a day at the beach, stroll out to the bay on the well-maintained walkway to relax under the gazebo. The pools are exceptionally clean, and we enjoyed closing out the day with an evening swim. The house is beautifully appointed and impeccably maintained. It is clear that the owners have thought of every creature comfort; this is not a bare-bones rental. The furnishings are stunning, and the kitchen is equipped to satisfy even the pickiest gourmet chef. Worried about being able to really unpack? Not here...the closets are extremely spacious! Bama Blue is by far the best rental/experience I have ever had. Michael, the owner, created a pleasant and seamless process with his lightning-quick response time. We will definitely be staying the the amazing Bama Blue again!!

The house was set up and decorated so that we felt we were in someone's comfortable home rather than a rental. The decorations were beautiful and tasteful and the kitchen was fully stocked, not just the typical minimal mismatched utensils and cookware. In fact, there was more than I think I have in my own kitchen at home! Anything we needed was there and ready for us.The pool area was nice and the walk to the beach was short and easy. The best part was that we had access to kyacks, bikes, pool toys, grill and a wheeled wagon. Michael thought of everything! The only downside was that the 4th bedroom is really the upstairs sitting area so that there are no doors and everyone has to pass through to get to the bathroom or downstairs. That was an inconvenience for those sleeping there and needless to say, no privacy. Michael was super friendly and always available by phone and email. This is definitely the place to stay!

The house and property was very nice and clean. More then big enough for our group of six adults, teenager and two children. A couple in our family went fishing on the properties pier about every morning. Pool and pool area was great and the house is close to the beach. The owner of the house (Michael) is as nice a person as you will find. Talked and emailed the guy many times and he was very fast on returning and answering my questions. Very much recommend.
