This was our 3rd time visiting this house and it continues to deliver. Loved the newer kayaks (and more available than before). The weather was beautiful. We saw seals and explored the beach. We took a day trip for lunch to Hama Hama and made great meals in the well stocked kitchen.
We hope to come back earlier in the year next time so that we can take advantage of clamming on the beach.
Thanks for another wonderful stay!

This waterfront home was the perfect place for our family, kids and friends to get away. House was clean, had lots of games, kayaks, life jackets, and water shoes. We enjoyed watching the seals and orca whales every morning! If you’re looking to get away to the ocean but don’t want to drive for hours, this is your place!

Thank you so much for a great spot away from our usual hustle and bustle!
Great communication with Kim, the property manager.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family get together here. Everything was as expected and we had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed kayaking nearby and playing Yahtze in the evenings with two teens. We saw a mother seal and her baby on the rock right in front of the porch. Thank you for a lovely stay!

It was such a lovely setting for a quiet getaway!
We watched seals and bald eagles, we kayaked and paddle boarded and just enjoyed the view.
It’s such a peaceful place to refresh and recharge!

The large east facing patio was perfect for August- sunny in the morning and shaded in the heat of the day. We cooked large group meals in the well appointed kitchen. Enjoyed the water, wildlife and kayaks all day. You can find hermit crabs, sponges, starfish, and snails at low tide. We saw several harbor seals, otters, and blue herons as well. The space was clean and comfortable for our group of 10 adults and teens. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a fun time with my family. It’s a very warm cozy house by the ocean.

We had a great time on a family vacay and overall the house was great! Only about one and a half hours from Seattle area, 5 mins to a cute little town, and right on the beach!
The big deck across the back was wonderful for lounging and eating. Lots of plastic lawn chairs and some recliners but not very comfortable. We were glad we brought Tommy Bahama chairs.
We all enjoyed the great Kayaks and inner tubes! the water was warm and smooth, easy into water at high tide! Low tide we could go for long walks along the beach! saw lots of seals, otters and eagles!
The house was nice and big with great views from the living areas. We really liked the 2 comfortable high back couches and comfy chairs with ottomens!
However some of the beds were awful!!
The 2 downstairs on the left were very old and uncomfortable!! Also those rooms only had one tiny bedside lamp, that you couldn't read by.
The master upstairs has king bed with great mattress, but the bunkbeds, you sit right to the springs.
Only hand soap provided, but they seemed watered down and one had broken handle.
The kitchen was very well equipped, however there were a lot of dishes and glasses with cracks and chips. Most were plastic and can't use in microwave.
The blender worked, but had no lid, so we held towel over top. Tea kettle lid broken, so hard to use. Several old pot holders that were thin with holes and I burned my hand using one.
Just a few tweaks would make this the perfect place!!!

Such an amazing place! We were a group of 11, and the space fit us perfectly! Spent every morning and evening out on the deck with great views of the inlet and sea life. There were a couple pairs of binoculars for us to use too!
Stores and restaurants were close, within less than a 10min drive.
All communication with Kim was great, very informative and she’s quick to respond.
Will consider this space again if we come up that way!

We enjoyed all the viewings of the wildlife! Many appearances of deer, bald eagles, seals, sea otters, and the grand finale, an appearance of a pod of orcas! There are plenty of kayaks for all ages to enjoy together for the youngest, age 12 to the oldest, age 67! Great carryout and dining out food, coffee, brakfast sandwiches within a mile away! We kayaked for coffee in the morning! We enjoyed the BoatHouse and Mexican restaurant! Perfect family vacation!

We have a pleasant stay at the house. The 5 bedrooms and extra bed at the loft are very rare to find.
We could not find any shampoo or body wash. It would be great if it could be provided.

The pictures do not do this house justice. The sunrise and sunsets were breathtaking! The home was plenty big for our family to enjoy some down time. Absolutely everything you need is provided. Plenty of towels, pots, pans, washer, dryer, toys, kayaks, life jackets! Definitely enjoyed our stay

Hubbed out of this home for golf in the area. Home is very clean with fantastic views from the deck which we used extensively. Close to Gold Mtn, Salish Cliffs and Trophy Lake.

It would be great if the owners invested in a few thinks on the property that would “bring the house to the next level”. Better paper products, (really single ply?) coffee, no tissues, towels, wall covering or basic bathroom supplies. Nice place, but it could be so much more. Neighbors are great and location is top notch.

Really a lovely place for a family gathering. Very comfortable for all ages 4-80, including one in wheel chair ( we made it barely.). The view snd access to water exceptional, All the kayaks were super fun. We wish we could have stayed one more night. Very fine experience.

We enjoyed our stay overall. The manager was very kind to reach out to inform us about the clams contamination in the area which we appreciate since it didn't occur to us to check.

Large comfortable family home situated on Case inlet. Well equipped with kayaks, life jackets and inflatables. Probably suit a family of adults and older children. The deck was unsafe for children under 5 and there was no lawn for games. Also the tide was out twice a day and the only access to the water is over mud flats so swimming and kayaking was not always easy. You have to drive to everything and the local restaurants were not good.

Bald eagle and harbor seals played around this property, kayaks were great- space for 4 generations of our family to gather

Our time at this property was incredible. We had the weather on our side and spent most days in the water floating around in a kayak or life vest while exploring in low tides. A pod of orcas came through the bay while we were out in the water and some seals took safe harbor close to our kayaks. An unforgettable experience.
The house is well equipped with the king bedroom upstairs next to the bedroom with the double bunks. The lower level has 3 bedrooms all with queen beds.
They thoughtfully supplied water shoes (the bay is full of shells you may step on), life jackets, citronella candles and plenty of seats for the deck.
We are already planning on coming back next year!

Beautiful cabin overlooking North bay in Allyn WA
Very comfortable cabin (home). The Master Bedroom is amazing. Super deep tub, great shower privacy from rest of activities. The "bunk room" upstairs is great playroom for kids.
We actually slept in bunk beds one night just to test them and they were very comfortable too. Three other bedrooms with queen beds and two more bathrooms downstairs. The view is stunning. With the tide in, we could get in kayaks right at the foot of the stairs. When tide was out we walked out 100s of yards through sand dollars and butter clams. A magnificent get-away to celebrate 50th wedding anniversary with the whole family.

Wonderful 10 day trip!
We had 10 people (6 adults & 4 kids) staying at this beautiful house. We never felt crowed and all had great space in the house. It’s a beautiful house. We loved the kayaks, watching the tide go out/in, looking for clams, crabs, and shells. We had beautiful days and could see Mount Rainer. Communication was great when we had questions. Great trip!

Beautiful and Comfortable Home
This was our second stay in this lovely home. The views are spectacular! The kids all loved the bunk beds and the separate loft area, plus all of the toys! Plenty of games and puzzles, too. Kitchen is well stocked as well.
Only suggestion would be to install safety bars in the downstairs bathroom, tub is very deep and not easy to get in and out of.
I'm sure we'll be back for another nice visit with our son and his family.

Great location, the house can easily sleep 8-10. We only had five people which made it spacious.
Nice place, but the owners could spend a little money and better maintain the property. The leaves were everywhere, leaving the driveway slippery, bulbs burned out and poor lighting in the living room. I would suggest investing a bit in upkeep and maintenance and this would easily pick up another “star”.

Great getaway place!
The house is in a wonderful location and it was good for our group of friends. Some maintenance issues were taken care of promptly by the housekeeping folks.
We hope to be back next year!

Amazing getaway without being far away
We loved our time at the cabin. We had the most amazing November weather - gorgeous sunny days for kayaking, and stormy thunder and hail! The home was wonderful and just what we needed. Plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. Would totally go back again.

My husband, daughter and I rented this lovely home for a few days before move-in day at the university. We were looking for a peaceful place just to relax and boy, did we find it. The house itself, located in a quiet neighborhoosd is wonderful: the beds are quite comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of outdoor chairs on the amazing deck that overlooks the water. In the days before the pandemic, we traveled a lot and we always rent from VRBO, so we've been in a lot of houses. My husband commented that this house in particular seemed exceptionally clean, so we really appreciated that.It was hypnotic to watch the tide come in and go out. We loved walking far out when the tide was low. and watching a family of seals playing nearby at high tide. The WiFi was great, which was good because I had a couple of zoom calls I needed to do. No problem there. The property is well situated for some really great exploring of this beautiful part of the country. We didn't do much exploring, though. We mostly stayed on the porch and watched the water, which is soul-soothing. Next time we come we'll do some day trips and explore!

Nice stay
We had issues with house upon check in- plumbing issue- and host was very responsive. Similarly ran out of paper towels and someone brought them over very quickly.
The boats were a plus.
Location pro was that we were so close to the water at mid-high tide. However for those who have stayed in hood canal before, you know how much the tide varies. In this property, at lower tides- the mud extends very far from stairs to water- making it inaccessible. During our stay that was for a few hours in the middle of the day- not ideal and obviously nothing the owners have control over not something to know.
This house doesn’t have simple things like shower soap and a hairdryer so pack your own.
Overall a nice and spacious home. Would recommend some updates as the age of the home is showing (the grill was totally rusted- this was actually replaced while we were there so now it’s brand new!). Kitchen pans need updating and kitchen needs organization (tephlon all scratched and peeling off, hard to find things as storage was all over the place). Yard crew needs to pay more attention- decomposing rat was on the front area by the wall (neighbors have chickens which is probably why it was there- house very clean).
With a few updates would be 5 stars.

Our stay at Grapeview
Our group of 8 enjoyed the home. Plenty of room for us. Well-stocked home for us to cook meals, enjoy the deck and watch the Harbor Seals, eagles and other wild-life do their thing. Our stay coincided with the Perseid Meteor Shower. So some of of got up at 2am and watched the show enjoying the cool night and clear skies. Weather was warm so having A/C was a nice amenity. We had a great stay.

Laid back family retreat.
We had a great family retreat with our 92 y.o. mother. The facility was prefect for us to just hang out. When the tide is out you can walk the cobble beach. When the tide is in you can launch a kayak. The kayaks are a great bonus but only three were usable for adults. Groceries are ten minutes away along with some great small parks. The deck gets shade early (very nice) and we saw multiple seals, dolphins, and sea otters (river otters too at Theler park and eagles are nesting in trees behind the house! Great stay for ask older crowd.
