With 5 women we loved having our own beds (one shared room). Comfortable hanging out spaces - kitchen table, family room, outdoor dining table, hot tub, covered seating and awesome adirondak chairs for the fire pit. We appreciated the in room air conditioners. Having 2 bathrooms was great. We enjoyed walking to dinner for Mexican and seafood. We didn't anticipate the tides affecting the water levels. Not a big deal unless you want to swim or kayak immediately off the property. All around great place for a girls weekend! Owner was a great communicator and responsive.

We had an amazing trip to Allyn. The house has everything you need. It is well stocked with towels, kayaks, life jackets, buckets and kids toys. Our kids loved beach combing when the tide was low. The best part was having our morning coffee in the hot tub! The hosts were extremely responsive. I would highly recommend this property.

Our family of seven stayed over Christmas and the home was decorated with multiple trees and decorations throughout. We enjoyed everything about the home and location. Emily was great accommodating us for an early arrival and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely stay again.

This property was absolutely perfect for our annual Christmas celebration. We had 6 adults and three teens with us and there was plenty of room for everyone! I can't say enough about the responsiveness of these owners. It was top notch and they were willing to help any way they could to truly make our stay perfect. They even had the house all decorated for Christmas! The kitchen was very well supplied with everything you could possibly need. We've done lots of rentals and this one is definitely one of the best. Walks on the beach and down the pier, hot tubbing, fireplace, and hanging out at the Boathouse were nice amenities. We would definitely stay again...and as a matter of fact, we figured our that the VRBO we have rented in June is through the same owner. I can rest easy now knowing our next experience is without a doubt going to be just as perfect.

What a refreshing, relaxing stay for our Thanksgiving! We had three generations of family enjoy this lovely property for four nights. I loved walking along the beach at low tide, enjoying the eagles and sea lions over my morning coffee, and warming up in the hot tub while it drizzled outside. We would certainly come back again.

The home was as described - and perfect for our extended family long weekend. We enjoyed the beautiful early fall weekend by kayaking and beach walking. Restaurants and grocery, doughnuts and coffee all within a few minutes walk. The beach was easy to access even for our 3 year old and elderly dog. Having the hot tub available and the fire pit (with S'more fixings provided by the host!!) put this place over the top. We would definitely return!

Perfect place to reconnect! The house was clean and had everything. We kayaked, walked on the beach, made wonderful meals together, sat in the Adirondack chairs admiring the beautiful view, went hiking and loved every minute. Would love to come next time with my family. Thank you!

This was the perfect place for our 1st family vacation in almost 10 years. Great location right on the water. The house was comfortable and family friendly. After full days of exploring the area, it was a great place to come back and unwind. We took full advantage of the available kayaks to paddle along the many harbor seals we encountered and enjoyed making smores at night at the fire pit. The only downside other than going back home was our grandson falling in love with the hot tub which now means we'll have to save up and get one for our house. I would highly recommend this place!

This is a nice property. It is clean and comfortable. Owners have done a lot of updating. The kitchen is really well stocked, and it was nice to have non-stick pans that were in almost new shape. And a grill that was clean! We cooked all but one of our meals there. A couple minor issues with broken blinds on the slider and in the bedrooms. However, given the fact that the owners are VERY responsive I would expect they will be fixed very soon. Sitting on the deck was pleasant. The table has an umbrella so we could easily eat out there without any concerns. The view from inside and on the deck is great. The busy highway behind is not a problem. We did not have a problem with noise or getting into or exiting the property. When the tide is out you can walk quite a way up and down the beach. We had a very pleasant, relaxing time.

This beach house is beautifully decorated, easy to find, and the rooms have so much character! Loved the Mrs Meyers Handsoap, the convenient soap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser, the s’mores, spam, and microwave popcorn they provided, and abundance of games and toys to keep the littles and teens/preteens busy. My 5 year olds could spend hours playing with the crabs and the older girls collected sand dollars. The sheets were super soft. Emily was great at returning my questions. The hot tub so nice and a great way to soak in the views and watch fireworks on July 9! Which we were not expecting. Make sure to read the handbook through which found out about a nice nearby hike at a wetlands. We had an amazing experience. Thank you Emily!!

The house and property were amazing. The house was extremely well equipped (one of the best I have stayed in) - from kitchen gear to towels to furniture (indoors and outdoors). The bedrooms were all comfortable and the kitchen and common areas worked very well. The views of North Bay were amazing - it was fun to see the tidal influence on the water level. Be prepared, this is not really a swimming beach, but we used kayaks at high tide, dug for clams at low tide and enjoyed the birds. We walked to the Boat House Bar for drinks/food one of the nights. Our group played golf at nearby courses and spent a day exploring Gig Harbor. The firepit was perfect - right at the water's edge. Even though the houses look like they are right on top of each other, we only saw the neighbors one time, so it felt very private. Highly recommend this place!

The house was a perfect fit for the four of us. The changing water views from the top bedroom, kitchen, hot tub were amazing. The location was a perfect starting point to the various lakes, hiking trails, restaurants, and other small towns. Great house, we definitely enjoyed our stay!

Our party consisted of five adults and an 18 month old. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen facilities were excellent. We enjoyed the kayaks and other amenities which included a spacious deck with hot tub and a fire pit. There were also a ping pong table and a cornhole game set. The hosts were very receptive and responded promptly to emails. We had a wonderful family vacation and I strongly recommend this property.

We stayed the week before Xmas. Even though it was rainy and cold, we had quality time spent together. They even had a Xmas tree and decorations which we enjoyed as we decorated cookies! It Would be fun to come back in warmer weather.

We enjoyed our long weekend at this waterfront property. Unfortunately we weren’t able to unlock the kayaks for our use and there was a power outage but the owners were very responsive and helpful. The house has a really great view, deck and area for dogs to enjoy! On a busy road but you don’t feel it once you’re in the house or out back. Great kitchen for group meals and enjoyed the holiday decor!

Hank & Lucy’s cabin was the perfect place to have a nice relaxing getaway for us ladies. Emily was a fantastic host. The personal touches (fresh flowers, bottled water, s’mores makings…the list goes on)were very much appreciated. The cabin was clean, cozy & well stocked. Would totally recommend & would definitely come back.

Let's start with the kitchen as this is a great house for cooking; there are cute plates and glasses and cups galore, recently acquired bottles of olive and avocado oil and spices, plenty of dish towels, cooking utensils, a gas grill, and even oyster shucking knives. The bathrooms are well-stocked with beach and bath towels, toiletries, and small hand towels. The house had a great selection of beach toys, kayaks, and life jackets. And lastly, the doll house and fire truck toys entertained our 2 and 5-year-old kiddos for long enough to let us unpack and make a few meals. We had great communication with the owner/property manager. They are professional and responsive and welcoming. This was a wonderful getaway for our extended family to gather and relax. My only regret was that we could not enjoy the firepit because of the statewide burn ban. We will definitely book this house again!

The house was the perfect place for a long weekend with two families (4 adults and 4 teenagers). Big Bubba's Burgers is just a block away, along with a small grocery store for all the things you forgot to bring. Yes, the highway can feel loud at times. But the views from the hot tub more than make up for it. We were able to kayak with the seals during high tide, and watch a bald eagle on the tree above us while we sipped coffee from the lawn chairs. I'n all, we gave it an easy 10/10
