Our stay in Hallenstein St was great. Close to town walking distance. Penthouse had plenty of room for us all. Beautiful view, lovely and quiet. Would not hesitate to stay again. Thank you Queenstown you never disappoint.

A great apartment with lots of space.
A short work to the city centre which is easy to get to shops and restaurants.
The place is warm in the cooler season - floor heating in kitchen and bathrooms.
The gas fire heater was temperamental at times but additional heater also.
Note that the internal lift is currently not in use so there are 3 flights of stairs to get to the apartment.
Would recommend for a family or group of friends. Great place and look forward to visiting again.

This property was perfect for our family of 4. We had more space than we needed but our boys each took a bedroom as a luxury, since they share a room at home. The view is stunning and having the deck to sit on was wonderful! The location was great with an easy walk into town. The hill on the way back home is the perfect way to get some exercise and walk off your dinner. We never used the kitchen since there are too many good restaurants to choose from, but it seemed well stocked. The beds were all very comfortable. The primary bedroom was a winner with the view and we enjoyed the fresh air with the doors open. It was cold at night but we appreciated the heated floors in the bathroom. The building was quiet, and we had no issues with any loud neighbors. Having a washer/dryer was very helpful, just be sure to have your own laundry detergent. Parking was easy and we loved having a garage space. I honestly can’t think of one thing we weren’t happy with. The only thing that would make it better would be a hot tub on the deck, but the primary bathtub was a great back-up! We would absolutely stay again at this property and would highly recommend it!

Lovely apartment, however, the gas fire didn’t always turn on. After spending quite a bit of time trying to turn it on, we were told that it’s a fault with the fire. Would have been good to have known this before wasting time trying to get it to go and then emailing the manager.

Clean, tidy and modern this townhouse was a joy to visit.
Probably worth noting that the lift was not working during our visit - which was no issue for us but may be worth checking if that is a requirement for your travel party. It is only 3 short flights of stairs to the front door.

Spent 5 nights with adults and teens, plenty of space and privacy for all. Kitchen well-stocked, gas fireplace kept the common area cozy, in-room heaters allowed for personalization. Convenient location to center of town.

Our family of five adults really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was just as described - plenty of room for everyone and well equipped - and check-in was easy. Lovely views, the complex was quiet and an easy walk to town. Would definitely recommend.

We spent Christmas here and it had everything we needed - well equipped kitchen, beautiful views, great outdoor space, plush towels etc etc.
It’s perfectly located - a quick walk down the hill into Queenstown (a good calorie burner back up the hill especially with a pram/stroller).
Communicating with the hosts was super easy and they were very responsive - and had our baby cot and high chair as requested.
Definitely recommend and would book again!

The Penthouse P2 was an excellent choice for our family, the overall ease of use, comfort and the absolutely stunning views! The walk down to town is quite steep in sections, so just something to watch out for if you have elderly guests. However, the Uber service in Queenstown is very good, so we managed that easily.
I couldn’t fault Goodstays or the property and would highly recommend both to anyone looking to stay in Queenstown.

Due to short staff the cleaning was delayed and check was pushed to 4pm which was not ideal and travelling since 5.30am, the property was in a great location and very handy to the town centre, there was two adults and three children so the 3 bedrooms and three bathrooms were perfect, we had a flame effect heater and a heat pump so the heating was great, the under floor heating in the bathroom and kitchen was amazing in winter, the kitchen had everything you would require, the lift was not operating but access via the stairs was fine, we had a single garage which was good but no other parking onsite allocated for this apartment, we would rebook this apartment in the future

Top accommodation, amazing views, heated floors, fire place, fully equipped kitchen. Thoroughly enjoyed our 7 night stay. Would absolutely recommend it.

Family Gathering
Immaculate property, in a quiet neighbourhood and only a short walk from town centre. Loved that each bedroom had its own ensuite and kitchen contained everything we needed to entertain at home.
Only complaint was the large tree in front of the lounge window spoilt some of our lake view.

If you want rules like this, you need to let people know in the ads. The 3rd room had a really noisy fan that operated all day and night. One of our group had to go and buy earplugs. Not really what you'd expect for the price being charged.

Absolutely perfect
This place was amazing - very nice, tidy place that was super close and convenient to town. Nice view of the mountain! Great that it came with Carpark and added bonus that each room had it’s own bathroom. Would 100% stay here again!

Five Fab Days in Queenstown with a warm, very comfortable and welcoming abide to return to.
Great communication throughout the experience. Keys easily found. Apartment was ideal and more than expected. Arrived to a very warm, clean and modern environment which was especially great to walk into on a cold day. It was easy walking distance to central Queenstown. The views from the apartment were lovely. Highly recommend and would use again if returning.

Excellent place, close to the CBD with great views and well appointed. Very much would recommend.
Overall a great place to stay, very central and easy to walk to the centre of town. Very spacious apartment which meant there was plenty of room and allowed kids to get apart when needed. Thanks for the use of it.

The front door failed which meant one of our party had to miss out on one of the wedding functions due to having to wait for a lock smith because if the door closed you could not open it again
Dishwasher failed
The place it self was in an excellent location. The bedrooms, bathroom lounge and outdoor areas were awesome

Queenstown stay
The photos of this property were somewhat misleading and the condition of some of the furniture was poor. The ability to locate/recognise the correct locked box was not clear . Having the lift operational would have been helpful.

the 1 star review on Dec 19 was way too harsh
I stayed on Jan 20 and The property is great, The couch could be fixed, but not the end of the world. Bathroom and kitchen was clean and modern.
The Apple TV and unlimited Wifi was unexpected and awesome for me and the kids.
My biggest concern was that the carpet needed to be cleaned better. Perhaps use a better vacuum or something as the previous visitor was molting more blond hair than a golden retriever. So felt a little dirty to be sitting on the floor.

Penthouse stay
Dining suite needs replacing seat frames poking through the leather and dining table covered in splits. Longe couch is broken on one end, fabric hanging down under bar stool. Exterior bbq cover needs replacing as does the couch cover and worst of all the lift is not working and there is a large tree right in the middle of the view. For the money I paid this property does not come close to what you advertise so overall very disappointed will certainly not book this property again.

We had a wonderful stay there were only two hiccups first was the lift key which wasn’t on table with other keys this was ve.ry quickly rectified by on call person Thank you for your assistance as my husband is disabled and needed to use lift The other was the kitchen tap ..a bit wobbly needed attention apart from that we were delighted with our stay beds were great fabulous bathrooms and great location

Pros: well designed, good position in a quiet street near to the centre of Queenstown, with great under-floor heating in the kitchen and bathrooms. Good views of the mountains too. Cons: No instruction manual for gas fireplace or bedroom heaters. There's a coffee plunger, but no coffee, or sugar, or even teabags...There's a lift to the floor, but no key to operate it. Make sure you want this apartment before you pay - the deposit is non-refundable.

We stayed with a group for 3 nights. Property advertised as luxury penthouse.........for this we would have expected a double garage or perhaps 2 parking spaces especially when there were 6 of us staying (maybe we didnt look at the fine print properly); the apartment was nice, plenty of room but lacked basic amenities - tea, coffee, salt and pepper. The sink faucet was loose and in need of repair this would have been noticed on vacating from previous guests. Watch out for the exceptionally small bath towels!! Working the lift to our floor proved to be a mission!! The cost of the property includes cleaning, however we had to clear out our rubbish, make sure dishwasher empty - just little things but... overall nice property but would not call it Luxury.
