We loved our stay at the Dream Home Beach House! There was plenty of space for our family of 4. The living room couch was so comfortable and roomy! The location was perfect, close to the beach and close to the many attractions that San Diego has to offer!

Great spot for a family vacation. Tons of room to spread out- everything you need for a great stay. Wonderful location!

What a perfectly wonderful place for a quick getaway with friends! We found the house to be clean, nicely decorated & perfectly located. Beds were INCREDIBLY comfortable and had nice soft clean linens. Really loved the layout with the kind of “bonus” flat on the first floor and the incredible rooftop deck. The added convenience of having a parking space was just perfect. I would highly recommend this property for your next adventure.

Property was advertised and Jon was a great host (contact him about Mission Bay boat tours!!). Dedicated parking spot was a great thing to have, especially on the weekend. The rooftop deck was a great place to wind down after a busy day.

The booking process and communication with owner were seamless and easy. Great communication. Beautiful views from roof top and great beach items available for use on the property. We needed 2 pack and plays and they were clean and ready to use when we arrived.

The house was clean, great location, and had beach towels, chairs, toys and bikes. We played a ton of volleyball and basketball which is located right in front of the house as you walk into the beach. Bed’s were comfy and so was the large sectional couch. Plenty of room for all 6 of us (tall family) to spread out and watch a movie. There are plenty of dishes and utensils, bowls etc but no lids or wrap to cover leftovers….no big deal, just grab some at the mission market 10-15 min walk (depending on how fast you walk) down the road. We would definitely return to this house.

We debated between being directly in the beach or a house back. So glad we picked here! Being directly on the beach means boardwalk traffic all day and night. This place was perfect for our group of 4 adults. My 86 year old mother stayed in the basement apartment and was very happy there. My son actually slept on the rooftop deck a few nights. Plenty of towels, bedding was good, lots of sweetener choices 😄. And a few ways to make coffee! That deck... The views are perfect. We would 100% stay here again! Family that came for brunch actually want to rent the place as well. The only"negatives" are not terribly negative. Being so close to the ocean things rust.. Quickly. So the stainless fixtures are showing rust spots, it could use a fresh coat of paint, grill is not useable as is- no cover , dirty. Dishes all needed to be washed before using as they were put away dirty. Could use a deep clean(but I am extremely picky about cleanliness) Honestly, this place was perfect! We all had such a lovely time and the house was right at the beach, walkable to the amusements, quiet neighborhood!

Beautiful home within steps to the beach. Great location and quiet neighborhood. Home and rooftop was safe for our 2 year old. We loved the living room and kitchen layout. Weather was on the cooler side during our trip so the table was perfect to play many hours of cards game. Highly recommend this home!

Property was just as described. Jon was a great host. During our visit there was a big storm and Jon proactively checked on us. Only complaint is the weather.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location to the beach is awesome! The house is plenty big with lots of room. Great wifi. Tons of beach towels. Walking distance to tons of food and shops. We would definitely come back!

The views from the private rooftop and other balconies were amazing! We could see the ocean/beach, mountains in the distance and the city. We were on the large beach in a few seconds. The interior was spotless and updated. Easy communication with owner. Highly recommend!

As advertised, excellent location! The only recommendation is the kitchen could use some upgraded equipment. Loved our stay!

The location was fantastic!! Communication with the owner was easy and he was quickly responsive. The ONLY “complaint” we have was that the coffee/tea cups were too small.

We completely enjoyed this property. Owner was quick to respond to questions. The rooftop was amazing! It was my favorite spot to drink coffee. I definitely would recommend this home to anyone wanting beach access.

Good location. Children were able to enjoy both the beach and bay sides. Easy access to both. They loved seeing the fireworks ever night. Very comfortable house for 3 families.

The property was exactly as described in the listing. Plenty of room for our group of 9. Was very easy communicating with Jon. Always quick to respond to any questions. Definitely a place we’ll try to stay again.

It was exactly as the pictures depicted. It felt pretty spacious for our family of six. It was only about a 100 yard walk to the entrance onto the beach. We liked having the three bathrooms. The neighbors/neighborhood was very quiet. The only noise was from the airplanes flying overhead. And they were kind of loud. But they didn’t fly during the whole night. So once they stop flying around 10 PM to midnight it was pretty quiet until the morning. The king bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The other two beds were comfortable as well for the kids. And the couch was nice and comfortable. We put two kids on the couch. We liked the open rooftop for relaxing and barbecuing. Some of the furniture on the rooftop needs repair. The lounge chair legs we’re just getting a little old and worn out. We liked how there was lots of food and shops and rental places and the Belmont amusement park within walking distance. We thought the parking spot was sufficient. It’s tight but everything at a beach area is going to be tight. We have a Sequoia and it fit snugly in our assigned spot. Overall, we really liked the house and the location, and the owner Jonathan, and we would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very close to the beach, boardwalk and action of Mission Beach yet far enough away when we wanted peace and quiet. The place is awesome for big dinners and roof top entertaining. The roof top is huge and also has an ocean view. There are multiple levels and decks throughout the property for privacy when you want it. Our teens stayed in the lower level complete with beds, a small kitchen and bathroom. It was the ideal set up! Host was amazing always in touch and giving us what we needed. Highly recommended!
