Everything was perfect, no complaints. Great location and good communication.

I stayed at the property for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. The space fit two people perfectly. Even though all you have is a small fridge and kitchen, it was plenty for keeping a few breakfast options and reheatable dinner meals to save money on eating out. The neighborhood was super quiet - no loud street noises or loud music. Even with the 4th of July approaching people were really respectful of noise levels. I 100% recommend this spot if you are wanting to visit L.A., Newport’s or any other beach towns. It’s perfectly positioned so that traffic was never a major issue and there plentiful parking. Which can be a major issue in more popular locations. In fact, having such easy access to parking made the stay that more amazing.

This is a lovely studio with micro and fridge which you only need for snacks because there are a wealth of dining opportunities within a few miles in any direction. Miriam was a gracious host, checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed but still giving us privacy. There is a lovely patio area with couch, table and chairs. The neighborhood is fun to walk in and the beach is a little over a mile away. We will be sure to stay with Miriam any time we are in the LA area.

Such a homey sweet clean studio! Owners provided the extras that make a stay feel like home! Friendly hosts for sure and truly wanted to make sure our stay was a good one. If we are back in LA we definitely will stay there again!

This studio apartment was so cozy, clean, comfortable, great location and contained everything we could possibly need. Our hosts were there if we needed them…so friendly and non-intrusive. Will definitely stay there the next time we visit our family in Torrance.

This could not have been better. My daughter and I stayed for two nights. It was super clean, had all amenities needed and most of all felt super safe. Only short distance to beach and any restaurant of your choice ( we needed gluten free). Very happy. Will use again if needed.

The backyard is so welcoming with its garden. The place was very clean. It is a walking distance to grocery, Starbuck and other places. I certainly recommend!

We had a short but sweet stay in Torrance. We were in town for my sister's baby shower and the studio provided a clean, quiet and safe place to chill and sleep for our weekend trip. The space was immaculately clean, which I really appreciated. And although we weren't there during the day very much, it also had great light with a lot of big windows (with blinds). Would highly recommend.

Great area, near the beach, shopping center & Trader Joe's. Attentive hosts, safe for solo travelers. private entrance. Need I say more? Will definitely be back! Thanks Miriam!

What a gem of a cottage! We wanted to escape the heat of AZ and spend some time at the beach. This proved to be the perfect home base to explore the South Bay. It is outfitted with everything you could need. The bedding was so soft and the couch was comfy. Miriam could not have been nicer or more welcome. She kept a very safe distance but also made sure we had everything we needed. Would certainly recommend and come back!

I could not have been happier with my stay, Miriam communicated perfectly prior to my arrival and let me know that they were social distancing because of Covid but she still checked on me upon arrival and made sure everything was good. I spent my trip working but was glad to have a very comfortable private and cozy place to sleep. Would recommend for anyone visiting the area! So close to the beach.

The cottage had everything we needed. The location is wonderful - short drive to beautiful beaches and many restaurants. The room was clean and the bed was super comfy. The garden is lovely. Miriam is a great host and was so accommodating. We want to return!

My vacation seemed doomed when my daughter became ill and every day I worried about her and her newborn, and yet my 3 week visit was full of happiness and relaxation due in no small part to the gracious nurturing of my hosts and their delightful accommodations. Miriam kept everything clean and comfortable so that my return late at night was to a cozy respite from the day. Everything I needed was there from snacks to toiletries to hot showers and soft welcoming bedding. It's only a 5 minute walk to Starbucks through a lovely neighborhood. I will definitely go back soon!

We never saw the owners, but knew they were there if we needed them. The cottage is located in a residential area, with plenty of street parking. We were able to park close. There were three steps up from the side walk to the gate that leads to a fenced yard. There is a fence all around the property. We heard a few sirens, and faint barking dogs, but for the most part it was nice and quiet. We spent three nights. We like to attend a local festival held every year in late September. One of our friends who knows the area recommended a Peruvian restaurant located about a 10 minute drive from this property. The restaurant is called El Pollo Inka. It is well known for its chicken dishes, but it has beef and seafood as well. As I vegetarian, there are typically few options, but I enjoyed the fried rice. The dessert of pumpkin deep fried donuts with a honey sauce was marvelous. We went to the beach and there was a small fee (maybe $3) at a toll booth type building where one enters the parking area. There were picnic tables and restrooms. They even had outdoor showers with a foot wash/lower faucet. Although we did not use them, it was great that there were two beach chairs and an umbrella. We utilized the wi-fi that was available and had no problems. The pod coffee maker was stellar and much appreciated!

I was coming to LA for a concert and wanted to stay closer to the beach for some real relaxation. Miriam’s casita was the perfect spot. Small and quiet, with all of the comforts of home. I would absolutely stay here again. The hosts give you the option to interact with them as much or little as you’d like. This place is a dream.
