I'm sorry, i would like to say it was all fine, but this place is old, dated, dirty, lots of stuff broken, not working, for the price we paid it was very disappointing ..... i am not sure that anything in this unit has been replaced since the 70's will not be staying here again

We had a very comfortable stay at this condo. It was spacious with a great view of the ocean. It has some water pressure issues and one of the sinks in the kitchen leaked but we did not need two sinks. The wifi did not have good service which effected the TV. The location was great and the price was very reasonable. I will revisit this unit again in the future!

We stayed at this property for 5 nights. We loved the location and easy access to restaurants and the beach. There was a slight cat like smell whenever we entered the room. The kitchen sink leaked incredibly and we didn't realize until halfway through our stay that there was a bucket full of gross sink water that just kept filling and obviously someone put a bucket there knowing it was leaking. The room was very outdated and didn't seem to be cleaned very well. Some of the sheets and comforters had stains on them. There was places that seemed like they hadn't been dusted in years. There weren't any drapes on any of the windows so there was so no real way to keep any sort of light out in the mornings.

Spent 3 nights. Entrance door to property is covered with black dirt or mold. We wondered if there even was a building maintenance department. Doors on 8th floor to other units were identical. Black hair was in the shower of the Master Bedroom, the balcony table required a hot bucket of water, soap and hand scrubbing to remove black dirt and goo. Heavy dust in the TV LR cabinet. Nightstands finish in the MBR was not good. The footprint of the unit was amazing, large. Balcony was great. Two separate sinks in MBR was also great. Couch in LR was saggy and overall the unit needs a good face-lift. Compared other 3br/3ba units ondition and price with other 3br/3ba guests and are unit wasn't even comparable. Everything from faucets to wallpaper to lighting and general condition is stuck in the 1980"s. The footprint is definitely there and is just begging for some TLC. Pool, beach and balcony made it a bit tolerable. Disappointing for this group. Have used VRBO repeatedly and this was our first disappointing experience. It won't stop us from continuing to use VRBO. Do not recommend this particular unit, check out the others available and I'm sure you will be satisfied.

We had a very nice stay. We love Daytona Beach Shores. This property does need some updating, but we were comfortable.

Loved the location and spaciousness but bathrooms, kitchen and furniture needs updated.

Renting the condo was fairly easy. There are several things wrong within the condo. The ice maker does not work. Faucet’s in vanity area of master bathroom and the bathroom near kitchen leaked when turned on all the way. Screen on door going to balcony was pulled out. Shower head in bathroom near kitchen was seized up and when they tried to adjust it a piece came off. Master bath/shower doors needs some work. The condo smelled when we arrived. Other than the issues the condo was nice size and accommodated or family.

Anyone traveling with a pet, this is the perfect condo. The view from the balcony overlooks the beach and is spectacular.

Very easy check in, clean room, good amenities. Complaints the garage door opener would not work. I was promised a new one for several days before it was actually delivered to the room. Comfortable couch and love seat but they sat very low to the floor and getting up and down was difficult for the oldest people in our family.

This property is clean and we felt safe with the security door codes. Other guests were very friendly and we felt right at home. The manager in the first floor office was not friendly at all and didn't offer any help with any of our questions or requests, I really am not sure why he is even there. This unit is beautiful, we wanted to buy it! Pool is clean and warm and the beach was lovely. Great to take walks on for sure. We thought the location might be a little far from the shopping area of Daytona, but really it is much nicer the farther south you are! You can avoid the traffic and crowds of that area. We will return if we don't end up buying a unit for ourselves! Thank you for a lovely stay

The email information was lacking many details ahead of our arrival. I would never stay through that management company again for a property. No WiFi info, no address to retrieve the key 12 minutes from condo, no information about that process, the door wasn’t secured upon arrival,

The place is really great. Reviews are correct, kitchen cabinets are in dire need of replacement simply due to age. Suggestion to management to provide 2 sets of keys. Overall the place is great, the location is fantastic. We felt very safe, the people were great, management was very responsive to questions. The beach is really nice, long walks in early morning, and at night as well as watching the sunrise from the balcony. Will stay here again. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. The beach rental company recommended by management was also really great (Sandy Andy's).

Beautiful view of beach and ocean from patio. Entire property clean and well maintained, everyone friendly and helpful. Condo 807 adequate for 5-6 adults, any additional would need to be small children. Overall, needs some updating, ceiling fan and ice maker not working......would return as we love this beach.

Took over 4 hours to get the keys to check in. Waited for hours the get the code for the VBox Was out on hold for hours and finally answered by someone in Georgia. No code was provided with Initial instructions.

I was quite nervous about the property based on some of the negative reviews - but I needed two units and this unit and the adjacent one were the only ones I could find that met my needs. When I arrived, I couldn't have been more pleased. Yes, the decor is very, very, very, very dated. However, it was extremely clean and well stocked. You could tell that the management cared about the property and went to great lengths to make it comfortable. As for location, it was perfect. I would love to own a condo there someday. It was an ideal setting.

It’s almost like stepping back into the early sixties with the wallpaper on the walls. However very clean, gorgeous views and fabulous location. Should however get a newer DVD player. Our DVDs would not play.

This place is extremely out dated. Needs a lot of care. Hasn’t seen a coat of paint since it was built. The flooring was peeling up. Several outlets were broke or coming off. Balcony chairs are dry rotted. Blinds missing pieces. One of the bathrooms had a bad sour smell, and the shower glass door was dirty. The pictures posted are not accurate. Vtrips was easy to talk and offered to give me a new property, the new property was smaller though and would not work with my party. I would work with Vtrips again but not at this property.

Listing says pets ok and that dogs allowed. I called specifically to see if there was a size limit. I was told no. When I got there I had harassment from an owner because she said my dog was not under 20 pounds. The plumbing doesn’t work well you have to flush at least twice or 3 times for a toilet to fully flush. It’s very dated. I felt like we were stuck in the 90’s Miami vice era. The furniture is super old and the sofas have no springs left in them. Super uncomfortable and VERY OLD EVERYTHING. But that view made it all worth while.

This place is so absolutely beautiful. the wallpaper and stuff is a little outdated, but who cares when you have such a beautiful view. a couple of the blinds were broken & a light in the master closet but that didn’t seem to bother anyone. Although it’s stated that they dont provide extra towels; this property had plenty. also had some beach chairs & boogie boards. the only thing i would suggest is adding curtains to the bedroom who’s window faces the hallway.

This is a perfect condo to stay in - not too fancy but wonderful views. The unit is VERY spacious so no one was sleeping right next door to each other. Plenty of bathroom space too. The location is perfect, quieter side of town but easy access to main restaurants and popular areas to visit. Beach couldn't have been nicer - loved this side of the ocean! Everyone staying in the building was nice and the beach was easy to get to. Would love to see more towels and we couldn't get the washer to work, but then again, who wants to wash while on vacation! It wasn't a problem!

Condo very worn out. Needs a lot of TLC. But what a view! Pool always busy but lots of room on beach. Everything in condo pretty worn out. Parking awful. Check in was awful. Never given a code from rental company. Took many phone calls. They never returned calls. Was told there would be a remote for garage in unit but wasn’t. But there again couldn’t ask for better location.

The property is dated but there is plenty of room and it is clean. The location is good being on the non driving part of the beach. The residents there are very friendly to guests. The management group is horrible. 15 plus minutes to get anyone on the phone. No one communicates with each other. Made check in very difficult and annoying.

The condo is dated. Had new floors in living room dining area, master bedroom.The master bathroom toliet needs needs new inside parts . All the blinds have parts missing and when opening and closing the slats would just fall off and they need to be cleaned. The artificial plants need to be dusted. All the bed room need ceiling fans or floor fans. We enjoyed our stay will the minor flaws.

It was everything we were looking for in our vacation! Only problem was that the assigned parking space had a vehicle in it and parking was very limited. But the staff were great with helping us park elsewhere and we had no other issues. We would stay here again!

Everything was great, loved the location

Everything was fine. We really enjoyed our but it wasn,t long enough. Everything was in fine working order. Except the carpet should have been cleaner.

Worst vacation I have ever taken. Checked in on Saturday, everything was great until Monday morning at 8:00 am. That's when the jackhammering started. They were having the walkway repaired. No one told us, so for 5 straight days from 8am until 4pm we had to listen jack hammers and grinders. During our visit, I spoke to several unit owners who stated that they has taken their accounts from VRBO because of things like this. Do yourself a favor and find someone else to handle you rentals. Still waiting for the refund they promised me.

The unit is a corner unit on the 8th floor with great views and amenities. The unit itself smells like cigarette smoke, has not been updated since the early 80’s. It is very spacious but definitely needs some updating.

Old place with a great view

We absolutely loved the stay at shores club. Plenty of room for my family. We will be returning. First time ever visiting Daytona Beach. Loved it.
