Had a fabulous time. Only downside is there is no bathroom upstairs for the 2 bedrooms as you have to come downstairs. Place is beautiful and had everything you need and was in pristine condition. Beds and pillows fabulous.

Clean as a whistle in every aspect both inside and out. Wonderful, comfortable mattress and luxurious sheets. Close to lake and town. Great communication with hosts and easy check in. Loved our stay in your home on your lovely street in niagara on the lake. Thank you.

Shakespeare Cottage was a great place to stay. It was located close to the theater, shopping, restaurants, Lake Ontario, wineries, ect. Our host was great at communicating with us. I highly recommend this VRBO rental.

We all loved the house which was super clean, very comfortable and well equipped. Communications with the owners was seamless. Instructions left by the owners were clear. The location is great. Altogether a perfect stay.

A lovely cottage with all amenities and then some. Fully equipped for cooking and dining. Lots of room for gathering. A short walk to the lake, but a bit too far to walk into town - where parking is at a premium. A beautiful neighborhood, comfortable beds, very clean. I highly recommend if you desire a less touristy experience.

The cottage is adorable but has all amenities required for a short stay. The kitchen and deck are fabulous and create a nice little sanctuary for cooking or having a quick snack and a place to enjoy the serenity. The beds were comfortable, the place was very clean and we had access to all we needed for our short stay. All information was provided just in case we needed to reference something for the area.

Michael provided us with all the information we needed.The house is just perfect! Kitchen is compact and contains everything one needs.The place was very clean, had everything we needed to feel at home.We would highly recommend this wonderful house.

We stayed with friends here for a couple of days of sight seeing and NOTL Shaw Theatre performances. It was a perfect spot to lay our heads. PROS-the property is quiet, very clean, good location, has all amenities and comfortable beds, the owner is very responsive, the backyard and deck is large (unfortunately we had poor weather so were unable to take advantage) CON-both bathrooms are on the main floor -2 bedrooms are on the upper floor with a steep staircase (perhaps not great if you are elderly or have mobility issues) but ok if that doesn't matter to you.

At the time we opened the front door of the cottage, we fall in love with it. Very charming house in perfect location. Michael is also a very nice host. We enjoyed our stay so much.

Great place to experience Niagara on the Lake and Niagara Falls. Also great jumping off spot to tour wineries. The house was as advertised and clean. Will be back next time we visit the area

This place was perfect for our family weekend. The house location was wonderful for a nice walk around the neighbourhood and perfect to end a long day of wine tours and shows.

My husband and two of our closest friends enjoyed this beautiful cottage over part of our March break. The cottage is well decorated, clean and comfortable. Me and my husband stayed here for a couple of days while on a trip around Canada. It was perfect, everything you can think of that you will need is here. It was spotlessly clean, lovely comfortable beds and the washer/dryer came in very useful. The house is on a lovely quiet road and has ample parking. Michael's communication was excellent, I received very clear check in details and he let me know that they were only around the corner if I needed anything. If i was ever in the area again I would definitely book this propertly again.

Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Michael and Gail's elegantly renovated home. We felt their warm welcome when we first made contact through vrbo and then, once again when we walked through the door of their lovely cottage. The main floor bedroom layout was perfect for my mother-in-law who struggles with stairs. The hosts anticipate your every need from shampoo to coffee to blankets and very comfy beds. This cottage is a short walk, along tree lined streets, to a park with expansive views of Lake Ontario. It is also close to picturesque downtown NOTL. The gardens were stunning! Thank you, Gail and Michael, for sharing this special place with us and for your attentiveness. We would not hesitate to rent your property again!

A fabulous stay at Shakespeare Cottage, a perfect location to visit for a family wedding from the UK. Just close enough to walk into the centre of NOTL for shopping/dinner through the streets or along the lake. The property was immaculate throughout, had everything we needed so far as equipment and space and having the garden with BBQ (Used multiple times) was great. Our hosts went over and above our expectations on communication and supporting us. Thank you again Michael and Gail (it was great to meet you Michael).
