Everything was good! Only disappointment was the playground for the kids outside. It was Old, dirty, and unsafe, which made it difficult for the three children under four.?”.

We had a team of 13 on a short term mission trip in Mass. This house was perfect for our needs. We were about 30 minutes from the place that we were working but the area had plenty of restaurants, grocery store, etc. to meet our needs. The large house gave us plenty of room to accomodate a very diverse group including teenagers, adults and senior adults. The 3 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 washer/dryers, dining room and large family room were perfect for making this trip work for us. I am not sure we could have stayed anywhere more perfect than this house for our needs. The owner was wonderful in communication and accuracy of the listing. I would want to rent this house again if we go back to that area.

This is our third year at the Lake House for our annual family holiday gathering. Our hostess Margaret was as informative and accommodating as ever and the property is well maintained, and exceptionally clean. We know that everything is well stocked and well organized. This was the second time we have spent our 4-day Thanksgiving weekend at Margret’s house, having stayed there in 2021. (Another family reserved before us in 2022.) Of primary concern to us were the kitchens (yes, that’s plural), which were very well stocked with all the cooking equipment you could need. Having two stoves and two refrigerators was VERY helpful. The large main room we used for eating and gathering. A big hit was the pool table, and we also used the fire pit in the backyard. Last year we stayed at a place in Norwich CT that was twice the price and half as nice. Strongly recommend Margaret’s place.

While we booked the house for a week, we only had guests Tuesday night to Monday morning. The hose was the best presented vacation house we have ever had: immaculately clean and unbelievably well equipped. We wanted for nothing. We were especially pleased to have a second kitchen in the great room… perfect for serving our party guests. We had multiple contacts with the owner both beforehand and during our booking. We found the great room was chilly, and especially so after most of the people left. They immediately had someone come check on the heat system which completely solved the issue.
Really, the only suggestion we would offer would be to extend the parking area to hold more than 6 cars and secondly, to stock the second kitchen with glassware since it serves as the bar area. We did that to accommodate our party and it worked well.
Thank you to the hosts for sharing their lively home with us. It made a special party into just a perfect weekend.

This is a beautiful well appointed home. It has everything you need. We had 17 people staying at the house and there was plenty of room for everyone. Between the two kitchens we had everything we needed. Plenty of glasses, plates, cooking and eating utensils, towels, etc. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus. The yard was quite large and the fire ring had plenty of seating. The outdoor patio was mostly covered which was a blessing since it rained most of the time we were here, but we could still enjoy the outside. The very large family area was even better. Plenty of seating for everyone and we could all be in the same place. The beds were comfortable and the pictures accurately reflected the rooms. We had an adult sleeping in the “Captain’s room” and he thought it was great!

We stayed at this spacious home , 6 of us, 2 teenagers, 2 parents, 2 grandparents. It was ideal for basically hanging around. Excellent kitchen, pool table, game room, tv with expansive sofa. We played games, just chatted and enjoyed ourselves. Lovely atmosphere, we only ate in town once. We were able to bring along our elderly dog, who was a bit confused about being n a new house, but loved being with the family. She had a fun time too.

We had a great family reunion at this property. The bedrooms were all large and accommodated our party. We had quick access to the bike path, swimming at the lake, and family hikes. We also really enjoyed the outdoor area which has a fenced yard, grill and hot tub! The listing was very accurate in terms of the amenities.
The only part we didn’t love was that while there were 2 kitchens, the fully stocked one/one with the gas stove, along with the formal dining room, were tucked away from the family sitting areas, and were a bit out of the way from where everyone was hanging out, but if you’re not doing a ton of cooking that’s less of an issue! The neighborhood was also not super nice, but this was not a surprise and the house was fenced for privacy.
Overall this was a perfect spot for our large family group and we had a great experience.

Our large group of cousins had so much fun for the weekend. The house was perfect with plenty of space for sleeping and hanging out together. Two great kitchens and a large living space. Our host was so responsive and made the whole process so easy. We will be booking again next year for sure!

The house easily accommodated our entire team of 12 athletes and 2 coaches. Plenty of space, and the home has been recently updated. We were there in February for races at Jiminy Peak, so no lake activity for us. Easy drive to the ski area.
Margaret provided detailed instructions for the house prior to arrival, and was very attentive, though there was no need to contact her.

We had a great time. The house was a perfect size for our group. There were some minor complaints as they did not supply us with much toilet paper, paper towels, cleaner, dishwashing, liquid, or garbage bags and so we had to go out and buy additional supplies.

We had a lovely (white!) Christmas as a large family group. The house was snug and cosy, and large enough to comfortably accommodate 11 adults. We found the place to be a little under-stocked on essentials (trash bags, dishwasher soap, shampoo)- none of which would have been an issue except that it was a holiday weekend during a blizzard, so we couldn’t go out to get the things we needed. That said, the house was clean and comfortable and has a big yard and hot tub- and the host was very friendly and communicative. Would come back for sure!

Very accommodating for our group. We celebrated with 17 family members, and all were very comfortable with their sleeping arrangements. The kitchen is fully stocked with both dishes and cookware. Our family also enjoyed the spacious yard and firepit. Highly recommend the property.

The stay at Margaret’s home was incredible! The space is wonderful and comfortably fit a large group of over 20 people. Everything was clean and in great condition, including the spa that they pride themselves of. The two kitchens are extremely convenient, parking is spacious enough for 6 cars, and the neighborhood is cute. We loved all the lake-themed decor, and being within walking distance from the lake allowed us to have a great time without having to drive a group of people around.
Thank you so much for the wonderful experience, and I’d hope to stay here again in the future! It was perfect for our multi-cultured group!

We rented this space for our annual friends labor day reunion. We all have families with small children and this house was an excellent fit and location for our large group. There was plenty of space for everyone and I really appreciated the layout of the house having the great room a little removed from the bedrooms so that grownups could hang while the littles slept. Having 2 kitchens was awesome even though we mainly used the larger kitchen. Hot tub, backyard, playground with lots of toys was a huge plus. Our kids all had a blast. This house was perfect!

My friends and I stayed a few nights ahead of a Tanglewood concert. Plenty of space both indoor and outdoor! Unfortunately the weather was not on our side to take advantage of all the outdoor amenities but we made lovely meals and enjoyed our time together!

This house was perfect for our yearly family gathering. The bedrooms were perfect for a family of 4. Plenty of room for all our stuff and the beds were very comfortable. The great room was perfect for all 20 of us. The fenced in yard with play yard was great, no worrying about the kids while we played our own games. We would recommend this place.

The house is exactly what we needed the only problem we had was getting the TV to work and the reason was the cable box was not plugged in and found that problem the next morning the place was awesome.

Our group arrived after a long day at a conference in the local area. The house is located in a quiet residential area and is exactly as described. There were 8 of us staying and we each had our own comfortable bedroom. We loved that there was a pool table, hot tub and fire pit and made use of those amenities in the evenings after the conference. The house was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Would definitely stay here again if I am in the area. Margaret was a great host. Very easy to communicate with and always responded quickly to my questions.

Our family group of 17 had a wonderful family vacation here. The house was a perfect fit for our group , very roomy and enough comfortable seating for all. The house is beautifully decorated and we enjoyed the themed bedrooms. We loved having the 2 kitchens and plenty of dishes and cookware. The large backyard was perfect for games and for the kids to run around. Nice fire pit area. We were able to enjoy the area for the numerous hiking areas and Lake Onota was nearby with its beautiful views and swimming and boating areas. We had a great time and this place is on our list of places we would go back to. Thank you Margaret for your promptness in answering any concerns we had.

About a 5 minute ride to a lovely park with swimming lake and facilities. You could walk in about 20 minutes. Neighbors were friendly and quiet area. Hit up Jiminy peak if you have kids! Lenox is also a nice town to walk around and hit some cute shops. First time staying in the Berkshires, but won’t be the last. It was a heat wave week so house did get a bit hot, but so many fans that in a normal summer week it would have been just fine!

Great property for large family
Plenty of room for our family of 18. Well stocked house, close to restaurants, museums and the lakes, where we put our boat in for some water skiing and kneeboarding.
