The house has a lot of potential but very dated. First two days AC was broke and the fan in the master bedroom had no pull chain. Too hot for no air flow. The master bed was so old it squeaked every time you moved. Also mattress was too firm. The positives were the property cat and the location.

This cottage came with a little Kitty cat! A big plus for me, being a cat lover, but maybe not for everyone. You're only a block off of Truman street, and about 3 blocks to Duval. We would love to stay there again. We rented a golf cart and we had our own space to park it there. I highly recommend some kind of transportation at this location, unless you're a lot younger than us, and don't mind about a 5 block hike to Duval. The water pressure was a bit low and the A/C may not keep up on a very hot day but we were comfortable during our stay in April.

The cottage is nestled cozy in its surroundings with a pool and lounging area. The cottage is equipped with everything we needed to make our stay so very homey and comfortable. Its located mere minutes from all the hot spots in key west. We truly had a ball!

Myself, husband, sister and friend came to celebrate my 50th! There was plenty of room for us all and we didn't feel cramped. The cottage was just far enough from Duval that we couldn't hear it, but close enough to walk to. We absolutely loved the pool and lounged around it daily. It was nice to talk to the other people staying there on the property too. And I can't say enough about Kitty, she was the best.She made it feel really like home. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could need and there were plenty of towels for everyone. I will definitely recommend this place to others!

Great location. Beautiful area, spotless and homey

We had a great time. LOVED the location. Property Mgr very efficient. The owner definitely needs to get a new bed and mattress for the master bedroom - awful sleep x 3 nts. The bathrooms need a facelift as tiles were cracked and mildew. We were hardly at the house so it did not dampen our stay but for $350 per night felt like the house could have been cleaner with newer linen, towels etc. Didn't use the pool but very pleasant and quiet. Adored the cat! All in all a good time but would not return unless the owner invests money in the issues that were mentioned.

Kitty was the purrfect hostess. The cottage was set up to meet all our needs. Other guests on the property were friendly but there was a sense of privacy. Restful vacation!

A friend and I stayed here for a girls trip. It is a very nice 2 bed, 2 bath cottage. Everything was exactly as expected based on the pictures and description. It was clean. The owner provided all the contactless checkin information in advance. We had access to the pool which we did use. And it is walking distance to Duval street. Would definitely stay there again.

We came to Key West to celebrate my 60th birthday. Everything at the Carriage House was great and as promised. Roberta was an excellent host. I would recommend this place to friends. We walked to Duvall Street for dinner the first night but rented a Golf Cart for the rest of the week. The walk was not bad at all we just wanted to see more than what we could walk.

We had a great time in the pool. Location was quiet. The AC worked well battling the heat. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

Communication and check-in/check-out were a breeze!! The property was just as described. Pool was fantastic and always clean. Washer and dryer in unit was a wonderful plus!! I would book again but it's already taken for when we will be back next March!!

Amazing stay in Old Town Key West! This place is perfectly located, central to everything without being in the “party” zone of Duval. The pool adds to the ambiance of the place and is a nice respite on a hot day. If you stay, be sure to give “Kitty” some love! She’s the best!

The location and property were so cute. The pool was awesome to hang out at daily and anything that was needed was taking care of super quick. I would recommend this home to anyone I know and will be coming back to stay again. Roberta was amazing and super nice. Kitty was a great kitty to have around during our stay. We stayed in the carriage house and it was perfect. We had everything we needed. We were close to everything. Owners/managers were available for questions and made sure our stay was seamlessly perfect. If you’re looking for a quiet place near everything with the comforts of home, this is the place!

Quiet location with easy walking access to attractions. Property was clean and comfortable but some of the kitchen items need updating.

This property was in a great location and within a 2 mile walking distance of most attractions. If you are not into walking you can catch the free Duval Loop bus within 3 blocks (Off of Virginia turn right on Windson, left on Truman and left on Simonton to the bus stop mid-block.) Cuban coffee shop and Cuban Restuarant within walking distance....great for takeout to eat around the pool. Wonderful neighborhoods to walk in to see the Key West lifestyle. The Cottage is older, but is well maintained and owner lives in main house on the property.

The cottage was okay. Very old kinda gross Close for walking every where. Property management was nice and got back to us right away. The pool was great and so were the neighbors.

We loved the quaint cottage and the tropical ambiance of the property. The pool was just right. One of our favorite parts was Kitty. She visited us daily. We definitely rebook and be back.

This rental was in the perfect location. Far enough away from Duval that it was quiet, and close enough to bike everywhere we wanted to go. Never got in the car except to leave. Very clean, had all the kitchen amenities needed. Kitty was an added bonus. Roberta was very attentive and quick with responses. Would definitely recommend.

Full size bed is very uncomfortable. The floors need to be scrubbed they are filthy. We had an overall great time. House was comfortable will definitely be back. We loved kitty.

We loved our stay here. We already decided when we come back in 2024. We will definitely stay here again. Loved having the pool to cool off in everyday and the location is so close to everything!

The location was quite fair, walking distance to Duval street and shopping. Quiet neighborhood and safe. Worst were the bugs biting the hell out of us in the beds. We were booked for 5 nights, after one night, I spent the next 4 sleeping on a sofa in the living room. (still got bitten but not as bad.) 5 days after leaving we are still scratching. Host said it was the first she had heard of it.? Besides that, the mattresses are uncomfortable. I wish I could post a photo of all the bites on my wife's legs and arms. The entire family has bites. Spoilt an otherwise nice 17 day vacation to Florida. Other VRBO's in St. Augustine and New Smyrna were 5 star. Unfortunately, this one was the last stop. Tiny ants all over the kitchen counter tops, make sure all food type items stay in a fridge.
