The views were stunning, that is true, but most views of the ocean are beautiful. However, the accommodations were not well kept, not completed, in some areas and the water pressure was very poor, to a drip, at times. It is not clean at all, for example, the kitchen cabinets were dirty and the drawers had dried food crumbs in them. The stove top was filthy with rings around the burners. Rob, owner was very nice, as are the Bahamian people. They are kind and genuinely friendly. The owner recommend Smitty’s grocery but they are very limited. Just a few miles down the road, in Georgetown, you will find a much better grocery in Exuma Markets. The road to get to the house is very rough with large pot holes, as are the road, in general but especially all roads off of Queens Highway. It’s as if there is no infrastructure here, period. Almost like a third world country.

We loved the property and the owner was great! He came over right away when the AC stopped working in one of the bedrooms. He fixed it within minutes and we were back in business! He was very friendly and gave us lots of great information about the island. I would recommend the property for families, the pool was beautiful!

We enjoyed our stay so much! It was my first time to exuma and we loved every minute of it! The house was perfectly located and close to all the markets and restaurants.

The views of the ocean from their house were incredible beyond what a picture can capture. This made the vacation relaxing, peaceful and calm. The 360 wrap around porch, the outside sitting area, the table for eating and the pool provided so much space to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and privacy. The 2 bedrooms were separated by the kitchen and had full en-suites and separate doors to the outside porch. The beds, down pillows and linens made for a great nights sleep. All the large screened windows and glass doors allowed a great view from inside to the ocean. There were air conditioning units in each room. Being elevated with a nice breeze we did not need the A/C. The kitchen was well equipped and the fridge with filtered water and ice maker was a great bonus. The location of this house was superb. You wouldn't need to rent a car if you didn't want to explore. Hoopers Bay beach is a short 5 min walk with chairs, umbrellas and coolers provided. Smitty's groceries/pharmacy and C+K liquor stores are a 15 min walk and have a great selection. Prime meats at the bottom of the laneway has groceries and has fresh meat and roast chickens. Mikes next door is great for pizza and wings. The owners Carla and Rob are fabulous, friendly and very helpful. They were always quick to respond to our questions. An information email and binder at the house was very useful. Thank you Carla and Rob for an amazing experience.

Wonderful, huge apartment centrally located on the island. Beautiful decor and extremely well maintained and clean. Incredible view from the wrap around balcony. Fully equipped kitchen; even had a dishwasher! The hosts, Rob & Carla, were the best. They were easily available for questions, advice and to address any problems. Will definitely stay here again!

This is a beautiful, spacious and very comfortable beach house. The pool is a real treat and you can walk from the house to Hooper's Bay Beach. Cannot say enough about how wonderful this property is. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to visit Exuma.

Unit was huge ! Loved the high ceilings and open floor concept, huge wrap around patio. Loved the pool ! Also was able to see the turtles via host and that was amazing ! Would definitely stay here again !

Vacationing in Exuma was AWESOME! Every one of the local residents were absolutely wonderful and kind! A beautiful place. We will be back, but may book a place on the sand beach next time. Great view, but NO beach access at Turtle Bay House.

Without doubt one of the favorite places we stayed during our visits to Exuma. The place was very clean, modern, had everything we needed to feel at home, and was an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. There is also a beautiful pool for guests to use. Short drive to a supermarket was very handy. The house is very well equipped with everything you may need. We had three great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. We would highly recommend this wonderful place.

We loved everything about this property. The views were remarkable, and sea turtles in the bay only minutes away. The location is close to grocery/liquor stores and only 10 minutes or so from Georgetown or the airport. 10/10 would stay again.

We loved Turtle Bay House 3! The location is perfect! The views from the inside and outside were gorgeous! Rob and Carla made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel as if we were at home! The house was well equipped, the pool was always clean and we enjoyed everything about our stay! We will be back!!!

My husband and I have a wonderful time at Turtle House! The apartment was clean and well stocked, and you can’t beat the view from the deck. Looking over Hooper’s Bay into the turquoise water is unbeatable. The pool was great to have at the end of the day - cocktails during sunset! Robert was very responsive to any questions I had, and Rebecca, the property manager, was lovely to talk to. We’ll definitely be back!

The place is so great we decided to return a second time! It doesn't sit right on the beach but you cannot beat the view and the perfect location to explore the entire island.

Exuma is the paradise of uncountable shades of blue along with beaches so beautiful they do not look real. When I was planning this trip I knew I needed to find the perfect place for us to stay and I did. I’ve never been disappointed with a VRBO rental but I cannot recall being this delighted with one. Everything from the flower pots and surrounding gardens all the way down to the layout of the space and the comfortable furniture is a delight. Whomever decorated this charming place has exquisite taste. I hardly know where to start. Rebecca waited patiently for us at Smitty’s while we took the only wrong turn out of the airport exit and was gracious when we finally met up. The property is very conveniently close to the store but It’s clear why guests are met upon arrival as the drive is unmarked and unassuming. Once we reached the top and saw the sea and the pool we were speechless. All the photos do not do this property justice! The open main room that includes a thoughtfully and beautifully designed kitchen, dining room and living area is enhanced by the blue ocean that can be seen by every window and French doors that lead to the incredible wraparound porch. The kitchen has lovely granite countertops and a built in GE stove that is the best. The sink is huge with a handy spray attachment and a dish drain basket that keeps the counter neat while everything dries. The entire space was spotless, which can be hit or miss with rentals that turn over quickly. The bedroom we chose had a gorgeous wood sleigh style bed that was very comfortable. The AC worked perfectly and the remote meant if you were too hot or cool during the night you could adjust without getting up. Hot water was plentiful and filtered; very easy on the skin and hair. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning and having our dinners out there since there is very comfortable lounging and dining furniture - it is quite spacious. The property is virtually without bothersome insects. We did not have any issues with mosquitoes or any other bugs that are typical of tropical locale. Being close to Turtle Bay is a real treat! This rental provides bags, towels and chairs for the beach as well, minimizing the bother of sand crusted gear. There is a washer & dryer onsite so you can pack your luggage full of clean clothes before you leave or dry your swimsuit quickly if needed. The time we spent in the beautifully designed pool was so enjoyable. We definitely hope to return!

We have been travelling the Caribbean for 15 years. Exuma and Robert's villa are now our favorite. The views were amazing and the pool was a huge plus. Easy walk to beach and easy drive to many other beaches. We are planning another trip to Exuma and will stay in Robert's villa again. Property manager, Rebecca, and her husband are wonderful people and very helpful. Everyone we met on Exuma was very friendly. Rebecca

We probably aren’t the typical renters - we cooked all our meals in and really just came to restore and relax. We didn’t rent a car. Kitchen is wonderful and generally well stocked but could use some food storage containers for leftovers. Home decorated beautifully. The view is spectacular and the walk to the beach isn’t bad as long as you are in reasonable shape. The pool is fabulous. Great to have access to a washer and dryer. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife, also beautiful star gazing, sunsets and sunrises. Caretaker excellent - very helpful and responsive. Prime Island Deli and a pizza place (that has great guava filled donuts) are in reasonable walking distance. Highly recommend!

We looked at the pictures of the property on the website and thought “to good to be true” - when we arrived we found everything even better. Had a great time and planning to come back. One good hint, when planning not to cook at home a renal car is very helpful.

We stayed at 3 Turtle Bay. The host was very professional and responsive to make sure we had everything we needed. The home is exactly as shown in photos. Very clean and spacious. The pool was refreshing and Hoopers Bay is less than a 5 minute walk. This was our first time renting and I would rent this home again. You will not be disappointed.

We had a fantastic stay at this property. Lots of room, great pool, huge kitchen, I'm pretty sure one of the best view of any rental accommodation in the area. Robert was great in advising excursions and advise on restaurants and food stores.

Our family loves the space. It was conveniently located to everything, including the beach at beautiful Hoopers Bay. The owners were gracious and helpful at every turn—giving suggestions and helpful hints. We’ll be back again and will definitely stay here.

We had an amazing time in Exuma!! I was in all 3 of the properties owned by this manager and they are all fantastic. The beach access isn’t the easiest but it was fine and so worth it. The house had almost everything we needed except extra blankets (my son was sleeping on the couch) and there was no DVD player. We made do and would totally stay here again. Robert was extremely helpful and responsive. We hope to return!

My wife and daughter and I loved the turtle house on Great Exuma. Perfect location, quite, gorgeous views and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

THIS RENTAL WAS EVERYTHING WE COULD HAVE ASKED FOR AND SO MUCH MORE. THE PICTURES DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE. THE VIEW IS UNMATCHED AND THE WATER IS THE BLUEST I HAVE EVER SEEN. THE HOUSE HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED INCLUDING A WASHER/DRYER. CARLA AND ROBERT ARE TERRIFIC OWNERS AND CHECKED ON US ALMOST DAILY TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS GOOD. WE ARE ALREADY PLANNIING OUR NEXT TRIP!!!
