My family and I were in town for a wedding at the Garden of the Gods. This was a perfect location to the venue, Old Colorado City, Downtown, parks, mountains and much more. We loved the accommodations and really being able to just show up with our bags and not have to worry about some of the smaller grocery items that often do not get used up during the stay. We loved the outside area and grilling/eating outside over looking Pikes Peak. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!

Such a fantastic stay. From booking to departure. The house was even cuter in person and all the patios were amazing for hanging out sun or rain. And the cookies were incredible- we are hoping to get the recipe. Highly recommend.

We are a family of 6 and we stayed for a week. There was tons of stuff to do very close by, so this is a great central location. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, and the house has a great use of space. The host was extremely responsive any time we had a question. We would absolutely stay here again. My advice to future renters is to check the host’s book about what is walkable vs not walkable- it’s accurate! Ice cream may only be a mile away but don’t walk it!

We absolutely loved staying at Rachel’s house! It was spotlessly clean and so comfortable. She left us with the best homemade chocolate chip cookies and delicious coffee, which was a wonderful surprise. The house is on a hill with views of Pikes Peak. It is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of shops and restaurants in Old Colorado City. It’s also a quick drive to downtown Colorado Springs, Garden of the Gods, and Red Rock Open Space. We cannot recommend Rachel’s house enough, and hope to stay there again soon!!

The property was as listed and had a very cozy vibe, you truly feel at home! Rachel was very attentive and quick to respond to any messages, even when asking for suggestions. The house was aquept with just about anything you may need for a long or short stay. It was a quick drive to local shops, restaurants, and excursions nearby. The upstairs bedroom had a beautiful view of the mountains, and the backyard was set up for grilling or simply lighting a fire.

The house itself was fine. There were no closets for those who stayed in the downstairs bedrooms. The bedroom by the laundry room was so small if you had more than one bag of luggage it was difficult to move around in. Plus, the staircase took away about 15% of the room The hot water heater was insufficient for the number of people that stayed here at the house. So with five adults and two children we had to stagger our bathroom time which ended up taking almost 2 1/2 to 3 hours every day. the house is perfect for five or less but in my opinion, any more than that, it gets overcrowded and a little congested in the downstairs area. We enjoyed our time there, but in the future if I ever came back, this is not the place that I would choose again. The host Rachel was easy to deal with, and attentive to all the questions I had prior to arrival.

This house is so nice and we’ll stocked. Good kitchen pans and dishes if you plan to do any cooking. Also has lots of little extras like games that we used for family game night. Everything was very clean. Loved it!

Stayed five nights at this property while exploring Colorado Springs! Property was clean and well stocked. View from front porch, upstairs bedroom and back deck are amazing! Communication with Rachel was easy and helpful! Close to everything but off the busy street! Would book again!!!

My adult sons and I stayed here for 3 nights. The owner was super responsive to all communication. The property was clean, well stocked with great space for us to spread out and a lovely back yard to enjoy the excellent weather. We really enjoyed the location- found good places to eat in Old Colorado City (and a great tattoo parlor too). Super easy access to Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, etc. Would highly recommend this property!

We loved staying at this cute house! The weather was a bit rainy, but we stayed very comfy. We used the covered front porch a lot, enjoyed the Mountain View’s. It was the perfect location for getting to the activities we wanted to do, all easily within 15 to 20 minutes away. Rachel was very responsive even tho she’d just had a new baby. There was nothing we needed to contact her about during our stay, it was all taken care of. But when we checked out, she answered almost immediately! If we ever go back to Colorado Springs again, I would not hesitate to stay here again. We enjoyed the table to eat at, play games with our grandkids and just share great family conversations around. Loved every minute of our time spent there. Thank you again and again Rachel. 😄

The owner is so sweet and helpful! I will definitely recommend this listing to any friends who travel to the area, and should we ever brave a 17 hour drive with 6 kids again this will be the first place I check for availability.
