We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is clean with nice furniture and a five minute walk from the beach. Great for dogs with a fenced yard and a hose to wash your dog off after a walk on the beach. Having a place to park was very convenient. Warning that there steps down from the parking place to the entrance in case you plan to bring heavy coolers/baggage. The local town is very sweet.

Stayed here two nights over New Year’s Eve. Property was clean, well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies, and was clean. Two easy blocks to the beach. The AC unit in the living room I think might just be AC only but the space heater in the closet kept the whole place nice and toasty. The shower was also amazing. Backyard was fully fenced. Overall a great experience.

Overall, the property was clean and nicely located. My frustration was there was not workable heat in the main kitchen / living area of the unit. I called the property manager about this matter at about 8:00 am the morning after my arrival. I was told “There are wall heater thermostats in every room to control the heat. There's also an A/C installed in the living room that is remote operated”, which the person read directly from the check-in email. Yes, there were wall heaters in the bedroom and in the bathroom, not in the main living area. The remote controlled “A/C” installed in the living room was, in fact, a heat pump (per the manufacture’s label). I was told by the representative that they would send their maintenance person. When he arrived at nearly 3:00 pm, he spent significant time trying to reprogram the remote, telling me a few times that the temperature reading on the device was 80 degrees. I tired of his ineptness and left for a bike ride. When I returned the heat pump still was not working (though, in fairness, the temperature on the remote did say 80 degrees). For the rest of my stay I attempted to heat the main living area by cranking up the wall heaters in the bedroom and bathroom. Not effective. In considering the wording of the check in email, I would not be surprised if the property manager knew that the unit had inadequate heat. Based on my experience I do not recommend the rental or any property managed by Meredith Lodging.

Very clean. Comfortable. Quiet. We had a lovely time.

We had an amazing time staying here. The house suited our needs perfectly, and was very cozy. The short walk to the beach was very convenient, and we watched the sunset from there every night.

This unit was a breath of fresh air - it was relaxing and comfortable, close to the beach. Well stocked kitchen. Included a game room and lots of games, puzzles, and more. Very comfortable beds and linens. A worthwhile place to stay.

We were able to call anytime with someone who readily answered the phone and was willing to help, but communication through the VRBO app was non-existant. There was mascara stains on the pillow cases, towels still in the dryer from the last renters, and no coffee in the house. Overall, we were happy that we were able to get ahold of someone to answer our questions, but we were dissatisfied with basic communication (as in messaging us the code to get in) and cleanliness.

I couldn't give the property 5 stars because of our check-in situation. We received a call 2.5 hours before check-in, which was supposed to be at 4, saying that we could not check-in until 6pm due to cleaning staff shortage. Given that we were only staying one night, time mattered. We were already at the beach when we were notified, ans we had 6:30 dinner reservations in Cannon Beach, so not being able to check-in and shower was a huge inconvenience. We had to adjust our plans and it was really annoying. The property didn't even offer a discount. House itself was perfect. Very clean, nicely decorated, and really comfortable. Unexpected obstructed ocean view.

Upon arrival we had some difficulty accessing the key because one of the numbers for the code would not clock, but other than that, we had no other issues! The place was clean, had ample seating, designated parking, and is close to the beach. We especially enjoyed the game room and we were grateful for the fenced-in yard to let our dogs off-leash.

This place is exactly what we were looking for, a sweet, safe little home to enjoy the coast in. The property is perfect for dog owners and super close to the beach! Very relaxing and cozy. Would definitely book here again!

Easy and great explanation

I replied to another email. Lockbox code didn’t work, spent the first night in our car in the driveway because my phone died. Next day, got another code for the lockbox, but no key in the box. Maintenance came and with a key, got us inside. He came back to get the wi fi working, but was unsuccessful. The ad did not say it was in Manzanita. I had typed in Rockaway and the property came up. Took stopping for directions several times to find it. Nice house and property, but the clock needed a battery, as did the flashlight by the front door, couldn’t shut the blinds once i opened them, the microwave door handle broke. Lovely beach. Enjoyed that. I asked for a refund, but am told i can have a credit for a future stay. I was told i would get an email. I have not received it

Clean and Tidy basement apartment with owners above. Glimpses of the ocean from the front rooms was an added bonus. Separate renter's parking but be prepared to take luggage down wooden stairs to unit. Not a problem for us. Bare minimum of supplies - just enough enough salt & pepper. So maybe prior beach users have abused this nice kitchen. Small refrigerator so just right for small family or a couple like us. The sunny weather made our stay so nice. We were thankful the unit had heat and A/C though we didn't have to use either. TV worked perfectly to watch our college football game. The bed was very comfortable. A plus for two over worked people looking to catch up on their rest!

This property is tucked into a quiet neighborhood a short walk from a gorgeous beach. Beds (including the Murphy bed) are comfy, kitchen had all the basics, and the shower is fabulous! We could hear the ocean and get a glimpse of the beach from the back yard. Weather was phenomenal. We’ll be back.

This was a seamless getaway experience for two. The house was laid out especially well for enjoying one another’s company. We loved how quiet it was and how easy it was to access the beach!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Sandy Feet. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and is a short walk to the beach. Also, it is only minutes away from some excellent hiking trails. The local market is great and the staff are very friendly. The apartment is well furnished and comfortable. Loved the fancy shower! We would definitely come back!

This house is super clean, nice location close to the beach, has everything you need for cooling, and playing! So lovely shower! Beautiful yard and fire bit!

Very convenient to local beach and local Oregon coastal areas. The unit was very well maintained and appreciated the easy communication with the property manager.

We had a lovely time at this comfy apartment. We could see the ocean peeking through the trees even though it was down the hill a bit. But the path to the beach is right by the yard.

We loved our stay at this location. It was very clean, comfortable, and just a couple of blocks away from the beach. Manager was very accessible and checked in with us through text, which was appreciated. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Really cool little pad, fun mini game room to play around with, but you can’t beat the location, right next to the beach and not too expensive. We will be returning!

The place worked great for our family of four. We loved being able to walk to the beach so easily and to just hang out in the lovely, cozy space.

good set up in kitchen,- well stocked. was great to have laundry. TV was a little wonky to figure out but i might just be out of practice w ROKU. was bummed the fireplace didn’t work but heater was great. Lots of very specific instructions for everything. The camera at the entry way was a little creepy but owners promised it was just for emergencies.

The location of the property was good, just a short 2 blocks to the beach with glimpses of the ocean from the property. Our 4-legged friends really enjoyed their stay as well. We had beautiful weather and beautiful sunsets each evening.
