Great house, clean and everything you need. Great host, very quick to respond and help with any issues. I would HIGHLY recommend.

Sis's Cottage was a beautifully decorated and well stocked home with anything you may need or want. Very close to all of Southport. Quiet neighborhood and very peaceful.

Could not have picked a better place. You only need to bring clothes and food. Everything (and I mean everything) is there. Have never stayed in a more equipped home...kitchen utensils and tools, towels hair dryer, iron and board, rocking chairs...The only thing we couldn't find was a meat tenderizer tool lol. Super clean, easy to find wonderfully priced and Gail is wonderful in communicating! We will definitely be back hopefully before end of year!

We loved being able to walk to the waterfront and past all the historic houses. We walked to dinner and shops- we will absolutely be back! Everything was cute and clean :)

It is a cute house, very well decorated and cozy. Perfect location for activities in South Port. We look forward to going there again.

My wife and I needed a place to stay while dealing with a very ill family member whom lives in the area. The home was so nice, comfortable and extremely well appointed and supplied. Its right in town but tucked away in a beautiful area next to the park. It could not have been nicer. Highly recommend this place. And the host was stellar.

We stayed almost a month & appreciate all of the amenities, walking distance to shops, restaurants, waterfront, churches, etc. Beautiful quiet area. Gail is the BEST! She communicates readily and makes sure guests are provided with a great house to stay in. Decor reflects Carolina beaches wonderfully.

This is one of a kind. Very quiet and off the beaten path. Close to the waterfront. We will be going back ❤️

Park and use a golf cart! Mr Ps restaurant was the best. Yard was very sandy and upstairs was a little warm.

Perfect location if you enjoy being close to waterfront and shops. Southport is such a beautiful historic place. We had such an enjoyable stay and being able to bring our dog along was very important to us. The house was very clean and neat with a fenced yard!! Great house. Super clean. Right beside Franklin Park so in the center of Southport downtown. House is exceptional - well stocked with nice decor, linens, and everything you could need. My Family was extremely happy and my Basset Hound loved the fenced yard!! AAA+++ We have been going to Southport for 30 yrs and this is our new favorite location!!

This house has had a major renovation and it is first class all the way. The decorating is beautiful with many lovely coastal pieces that make you feel you are at the beach. The kitchen is probably the best stocked VRBO with a food processor, Kitchen Aid mixer, good knives, etc, etc!! It was an easy walk to the water and we enjoyed the beautiful sunrises and sunsets within a 10 minute walk. We brought our dog who also enjoyed the property. It was a quiet neighborhood. We highly recommend this home.

My husband and I have been coming to Southport for as many years. I have been coming to Oak Island since childhood. I remember it still as Long Beach. We never stayed in Southport till this trip. We fell in love with this quaint river side town. The cottage was so well appointed and decorated with lots of nautical beachy theme throughout . The kitchen was nicely stocked with anything you need. We only uesd the master bedroom since just 2 of us. The bed was very comfortable. The fenced backyard was extra nice for us since we brought our fur baby. She loved having the freedom to roam around without leash. It was nice having washer and dryer to wash your personal items if needed. The Front porch was so nice to have coffee and rock in rocking chairs. The surrounding oak trees are just magnificent. As the day passes each tree gives a different appearance depending on how sun hits it. They are even pretty in the foggy early mornings. The cottage is very close to downtown and parks. I took early morning walks with my dog down to water front park . There are many restaurants within walking distance of cottage also. We had a great time the week we stayed here in August. We would drive over to Oak Island on the days we wanted to take dog out on beach. The drive to closet beach (Caswell Beach) is only about 10 minutes. Now that I'm older we don't spend as much time in the sun. So we enjoyed all the shade trees surrounding Southport. We hope to return to this cottage again soon !

The house was amazing! Has everything you need. Walking distance to everything. We brought a scooter and it made it fun to get around! If we ever decide to visit Southport again, sis’s cottage is where will stay!

Another perfect year in this perfect place. Our happy place. We loved the updated swing bench on the front porch. We rented a golf cart and had the best time exploring SP and oak island. There are a couple new restaurants that were top notch, go to Southern for a special date night under the oaks. Had a wonderful time at Sis's Cottage. We typically have little need for communication with hosts, but with complexities on our end, we reached out to Gail several times. She was extremely responsive and helpful! The house itself was set up perfectly for a lovely stay with my parents, partner and pooches. We were able to walk/scooter everywhere, with dining and shopping so close by. Looking forward to our next visit!

Our cottage was immaculate! Beds are very comfortable; kitchen is well equipped for our ‘at home’ meals. It is conveniently located in walking distance of restaurants & shopping & only a short jaunt to the beach. Great trip!
