well maintained beach villa with everything you need

Perfect location on Hing Kong beach and very convenient to have a little kitchen and a fridge.

bungalow is nice, close to the beach. good to have a fully equipped kitchen.

no intimacy in the bungalow, I had the pool view, and many people could see inside the bungalow, even when I was lying in bed. no laundry, no taxi service from the pier. quite expensive.

My stay at Joy Beach Villas was absolutely wonderful. The room was comfortable and had everything needed to accommodate my stay. In addition, Veronica and Nat at reception were the best! Helpful in every way possible! I would definitely recommend booking a stay at the Joy Beach Villas.

The location is superb, very nice setting and well maintained resort.

Checkin possible only within limited timeframe which doesn't correspond to the boat arrivals to Koh Phangan. Checkin outside those hours is paid. Not a very big deal, but we are not used to it. What was a bit annoying is that our house was next to the side alley where people leave their scooters and sometimes make noise in the evenings.

Nothing. The beach is not for swimming and there is a lot of jellyfish, but the hotel can’t really control the water.

the location is very bad. far from main areas the villa is smaller than how it looks in the photos the room make-up/towel change is only once in 3 days there is no one at the front desk after 7:00 pm which can inconvenient if you lost keys or need any other impromptu assistance

The joy is a magical place! we fell in love with it. we stayed at the beach front villa, and for us was great because it is on the beach and the pool so it was easy with the kids. on the main road there is the indigo cafe that has a great menu and an Indian restaurant, they are both super great and upgraded our stay. The joy staff is very kind and helpful, very kids friendly and was there for us with any question. the location is great 15 min from thong sala pier and market. we highly recommend it if you look for a quiet magical place to stay🧡

we had a lovely time at Joy. the 1 br villa had everything we needed, and Nat and Veronica were extremely hepful, accommodating to our different requests. location is perfect with everything accessible around. highly recommend staying here.

The beachfront villa was perfect for our family of 6 people. This is the only villa that is really completely in front of the sea - amazing view and privacy. The staff was attentive and very nice and the place was very clean. The location is perfect, one of the best in Phangan - 7eleven right in front of the hotel and many good caffes and restaurants around. The pool is great, our kids loved it. A free drinking water cooler for hotel's guests was a nice treat so we can refill our bottles. The beach has very low tide during the morning so it is not suitable for swimming but our kids loved to take a walk and find crabs and shells in the shallow water and there are beautiful beaches for swimming few minutes ride from there. You can also just take a walk on the beach and stop by at cool restaurants and bars which sits right on the beach. Highly recommended.

One minor thing, which is common also in other hotels on the island, is the fact that there is no staff around from 5pm to 8am, but this was not an issue for us.

Nice and clean small villa with warm wooden floors. All necessary stuff provided. Spacious green lawn. Friendly owner and staff. 7/11 just across the road.

Nothing serious, just couple minor issues: The best villa they have is located closer to the road than others, so it was a bit noisy sometimes. The shower is modern-style glass walls, but there's no door - all steam goes directly to the bedroom.

The staff is amazing, really very helpful and making our life easy. The place is great in every way. Great coffee and Indian food just accross the street.

Very good facilities and an amazing location on the beach, next to some restaurants and coffee shops. The staff was great and very helpful. a really good place for a short/medium stay for families. the inner yard is great, safe and cozy for little children.

pool is a bit 'aggressive' with sharp steps inside needs to be careful with kids. A lot of wind in the balcony! the wind rails are not fitting perfectly so it was a bit of a 'sail' mode which can be adjusted better.

Not really about the village, but beach is not for swimming

at the most the location as it’s just on the beach and you have a seven 11 cross the road as well 2 good Indian restaurants are the just you need to cross the road. Sunset from the infinity pool is another great add on. villas are not very big but ya it’s more then enough for a small family. kitchen was also good enough. parking was just on the side road of the resort which was quite comfortable. Staff and specially Mr. Fabien was extremely helpful and supportive.

it’s just a suggestion 1.) the kitchen can be equipped with microwave 2.) tariff can be a bit on a lower side.

Beautiful bungalows in a lush garden setting, right on the beach. We really enjoyed the hammock and lounge chair on our terrace. The kitchen is well-equipped and the pool area is lovely too.

Our bungalow was only cleaned once during our 7-day stay and we didn’t think this was enough in such a hot, dusty environment. We assumed there would be a daily light clean, sweeping, bins emptied etc as this was the situation in all other accommodation during our holiday. The bungalow had a problem with huge numbers of drain flies and we feel this would have been improved with more regular cleaning.

Staff was super nice and very helpful. Bunglow was very nice, clean and spacious. Wifi was top notch!! One little but important small thing: the AC in the bedroom was very quiet- which let us let it run at night time.

The kitchen could be a bit better equiped but hat was not a big deal to us. I'm also sure, that if we have asked for specific things, they would came up with a solution :-)

The sea view villa is straight out of a postcard photo. The spectacular view from the balcony terrace is so relaxing. The bedroom and living room are light, spacious and tastefully decorated. The resort itself is beautiful with well kept gardens and a total air of tranquility. The resort managers, Jessica and Julien were extremely helpful and friendly and recommended a great choice of places to visit and to eat. Just outside the resort there is a wonderful coffee shop with a great variety of hot and cold food. The location could not have been better for us as a family of four and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Joy Beach Villas.

Nothing really, it was all perfect. Despite the view being amazing, it is not a beach for swimming really as the tide goes out extremely far during the day. However, just minutes away by car or scooter you have some great beaches for relaxing on and for swimming.

Amenities: shower gel dispenser on the wall would be more appropriate. Kettle and coffee machine available but no tea or coffee powder.
