Amazing!!

We loved our stay at this property. The owner was extremely responsive and the location cannot be beat. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need - we cooked every night during our week long stay! Outdoor area is where we spent a majority of our time and the fireplace and fire pit are such nice features. My only suggestion for families with young children/ crawling infants - bring a baby gate! The 3 steps can be a bit hazardous for little ones (our little guy is BUSY and 14 months old), but other than that the property was very kid friendly! We would definitely come back. We will look back very fondly on our family vacation!

This is the best place I have stayed in SD. Perfect for a family and steps away from the beach. We spent most of our time outside in the beautiful front yard! Everything about the house is amazing and Liz was a pleasure to work with. Can’t wait for our next stay!

This place is significantly underrated. The pictures and write-up do not do it justice. An amazing place to stay in Mission Beach.

This house was perfect for my family and my sisters family. Loved the one level layout and how open it was for the size of the house. The house is well stocked with appliances, towels, cookware, dishes, etc. The outside hang out spot was set up for a family/friends gathering and it was so nice to hang out there by the fire or under the umbrella! The kids loved the boogie boards and my toddler had so much fun with the sand toys. It was a much needed getaway to the cutest beach house 😊

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would love to return again. The house was immaculate and the location was superb. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed to cook meals. The "extras' in the garage were a bonus. We have visited Mission Beach a handful of times over the past four years, and this was by far our favorite place. Thank you!

I was exceptionally pleased with the property from how well appointed it was, to the location, to the accuracy of the online posting. Owners were responsive to emails as well! This home is in a prime location within the Mission Beach area. You can get to the beach within seconds or head down to the Belmont park within a few short minutes. Made it very easy for early coffee runs, late night ice creams, and anything in between. The home was very clean and comfortable. Everyone in our group slept great. Kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking and dining essentials. Additionally this home felt very kid friendly. I would definitely plan to stay here again!

House was very nice and clean. Has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Great location. Walking distance to beach and Belmont Park. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

This property had what was undoubtedly the best equipped kitchen of any of the many BBRO & Air B&B properties we have rented over many years. It was spacious & nicely furnished with generous seating space in living/dining areas. It was exquisitely clean, check in & out was easy & Liz thoughtfully set up a small Christmas tree that was perfect, given the season! We’d definitely stay again!

The property was in the perfect location with all the amenities needed!! The bikes, boogie boards, surfboard and games were a wonderful touch!! We had the best time with the most beautiful sunsets!! Perfection!!!

The place was Clean and Beautiful. As Liz described . We stayed from Thursday to mon and sat night after our family’s wedding it was about 1in the morning and my sister and I turned. A light and saw a handful of German cockroaches run from under fridge we moved fridge out and there was dirt and dust bunnies all over the floor with cockroaches . We found cockroach bait in a drawer . When I took a shower a cockroach came out of the shower . My husband was a pest control company owner and he identified them as German cockroaches . He said they have already been all over our stuff and we basically one night left so calling the owner right then would not of helped our situation as far as leaving the property . If we have them in our things they are definitely in our clothes food and cars by now . They lay 40 eggs each cockroach . They are filthy and carry bacteria and can cause problems with allergens . And if they get in your things you carry them home and you to can have cockroaches and they are very hard to get rid of . I was having a hard time breathing and didn’t know why on sun . I texted Liz mon after check and told her the problem . She said they have had problems in august but thought they got rid of them after they treated them their selves . They said I could of called and they would of put more poison out . I’m sorry I don’t want poison around snd we had my dad a disabled senior so to have to move for 1 more night would of been a night mare and we would of taken all the critters with us in our bags.to someone else’s home . So it didn’t matter when we let her know the out come would be the same . We got home and had cockroaches in our bags at home . Now we have to spray all 3 homes and our cars and threw away our food and I had to go to Dr and they said I have bronchitis from allergens that cockroaches release it’s bacterial .Liz tried to say theses are-cockroaches that are there because of being by the beach not true at all and she should of disclosed that . She told if she disclosed it no one would want to rent from her . And she’s right . The law states for rentals she must disclose that she used chemicals herself to get rid of the cockroaches and she did not . She offered a refund of $500 dollars but I have asked her for a full refund and she told me no . I’m going to dispute all charges and seek help from San Diego city rental over Air B And B . This is so wrong snd I hope she can’t rent any longer . This has been devastating

My parents, husband, twins and I throughly enjoyed our stay! The house is clean, updated, throughly stocked with linens and extra cleaning supplies. Great location - close to the beach, restaurants and entertainment. We loved it!

This beach house far surpassed any I’ve stayed in before. It had absolutely everything….bicycles, beach toys, beach chairs, towels, kayaks, boogie boards, etc. In addition, the house itself was well-stocked with fresh linens, and everything you need in the kitchen! Beds were all very comfortable and the outdoor space was very inviting with a barbecue, table, loungers, and outdoor fireplace. This was the perfect beach house for my family of 8…all were comfortable in beds, and there was plenty of space in the living area. Our hosts were gracious and accommodating , and were concerned with our comfort. Overall, we had an amazing experience that will not be forgotten. We plan on returning to this location in the near future!

We have been visiting SD & the beach for many years with our children. The annual tradition continues along with our adult children now. This was the first time at this beach house which turned out being a great time! This beach villa is beautifully decorated, clean, fully stocked to cook meals, beach equipment, bikes, and literally 1 minute to the beach. Overall this villa is perfect and we plan on booking in the future.

We had a lovely time and I was prepared to share a few suggestions with the owner privately to improve. Unfortunately the memories of our vacation a sullied by the owner's over reaction, we left just before 11:00 a.m. and check-out is 10. Not stated anywhere in paperwork or booking., however, she is now charging us $150. I believe in being balanced so here are the pros and cons: Pro - nice location, beautiful outdoor seating Con - so many flies you can't sit outdoors without a fly swatter in your hand. Pro - each bedroom has DirectTV. Con - when I emailed owner about 1 not working in kids room, no response. She got all my other emails just not that one, apparently she was on vacation. Pro - newly remodeled Con - no A/C so we had to run the fan all the time and because of the flies you can't leave the door open to help. Lots of stuff broken like closet handles, etc. Pro - lots of cute kitchen stuff, plates, etc. Con - missing basics like a potato peeler and the cutting board is in need of replacing Pro - washer and dryer is good size Con - there was laundry in the dryer when we got there and we had to deal with it. Pro - outdoor shower for after beach rinse Con - you have to turn it off and on in the garage and if you don't turn it off the homeless use it. So you have a hose in front that gets area around the artificial grass around the outdoor table all damp and squishy. Pro - cleaning crew did a good job - we arrived to a clean place Con - cleaning crew took pictures of us/our stuff and reported falsely we were all asleep when they arrived at 10:15 a.m. Only my 94 year old Dad was lying down due to stomach issues with 4 others busy finalizing packing. Mission Beach is beautiful and we give it the highest rating!

This home is off the mission beach boardwalk and so close to the ocean. My group was my husband, two kids and granddaughter. It was close to everything in San Diego and great to end each evening with the beach. My only critique on this house is there is no air conditioning and we were there in august. We made due with the fans provided and it was still a great experience.

Spent 9 nights in the house with my children and grandchildren. The place had everything we needed and then some. Enjoyed being close to a all the amazing San Diego fun.

I have stayed in several places on Mission. This was by far the the most convenient and comfortable place. It's so nice that they already have everything you may need while you are there! Location is great! Patio very comfortable and plenty of seating. Actually designed with a bench the runs the perimeter for extra seating. I found the beds nice and comfortable. Was overall very happy with how this place worked out. Would stay there next time.

My family enjoyed our stay at this lovely beach house. It was more like home to us. The layout of the home is beautiful, the beds are all so comfy, plenty of space. The home is fully equipped and everything you could possibly need is in the home. No need to over pack you’ll have it all. Love love loved everything about the house, the location and seconds away to the waves.

This property is beautiful, well maintained in an excellent location. Loved being so close to the beach. Owners have literally thought of everything. Loved the use of bikes. Bikes are in need of some tender loving care. One of the bikes is completely unrideable. First time ever staying at Mission Bay, loved how we could just walk everywhere. My only negative comment would be this area attracts collage age kids. And I love young adults but when they are drinking they get obnoxious and loud.

Well equipped property was perfect for our family spring break at the beach. Beach toys, plentiful and large beach towels, boogie boards and great indoor and outdoor cooking facilities. Was so close to the beach, but also perfectly away so our 2 year old couldn't just run off!
