Perfection
We loved it..it was just what we needed.. I could sit on that balcony all day...my son loved fishing off the dock. Easy pool access. Beach across the street. Less crowded....it was amazing..

Perfect location for beach and fish
We loved our stay! Our 9 year old caught so many fish off the dock and the beach is so close. Quiet neighborhood and everyone was friendly. Best of all worlds. Homeowners were easy to communicate with and accommodating. This place was very clean.

Cozy bay house
We loved fishing and kayaking at this house. The bunk beds were perfect for my 3 kids. Great location, close to beach and pool.

Family Vacation
Our family wanted to take a few days to come and enjoy the beach. My oldest loved being able to fish 🎣 off the back deck. The lights made night fishing lots of fun for him and dad. The beach is a very short drive away. The house is quiet and comfortable with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We would come again.

Cozy Little House
We had a lovely time in this cute little house. We spent most of our time on the deck reading and relaxing...exactly what we were looking for. We were hoping for a little more activity to watch, but the quiet was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay. We had dinner at the marina. It was very good but service was super slow.

Great getaway close to home
Communication with Jen & Ben was seamless. They answered any questions I had promptly. Our stay was relaxing and very enjoyable. Home away from home and everything we had hoped for from fully stocked kitchen to smart TV to access Netflix. Great staycation was had at a great location. Would stay again!

Happy New Year
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful getaway at this lovely property. After the crazy year of 2020, we wanted a peaceful reprieve to help us ring in the new year! Ben and Jen were easy to communicate with, and we found everything that we needed for a great stay! We will definitely be back!

Perfect getaway on the canal
What a perfect getaway for my family of four. The home was just as described, & owners provided helpful details on accessing the home and recommendations on the island. We enjoyed the views of the canal from the porch, and the friendly neighbors. Our kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and riding our bikes to the beach. We hope to stay again soon!

Great house!
We have never stayed in a canal home before. I am now convinced it is better than beach front. We had a great time fishing off the back porch. The kids caught all kinds of fish and some blue crab. They even caught a Robin fish! Perfect for our quick trip.

Great place for a small family!
Was our first time staying on the bay side. We really enjoyed it and the fishing right off the canal was awesome! The home was clean and perfect for my husband and I, plus our two teenagers. I would recommend staying here! The pool was closed which we were unaware of, so that was a bummer but the homeowners can't control that. The fish enjoyed the shrimp the most FYI. Overall we loved it.

Great time at this location. Great neighborhood, lovely house and easy access to the near by beach. Very relaxing and soothing atmosphere on the canal front. Definitely will be booking again in the near future!

Great trip I hear
I booked this house for a couple of days during my kids spring break. Unfortunately for me I came down with food poisoning as I was packing my car to head that way. My wife and kiddo had a great time and said it was a great house with a great location.
I recovered about the time they got home. I will try again sometime soon to get some fishing in.

Perfect Fishing Spot for our Little Family!
We absolutely LOVED staying at this house! It is far enough away from Galveston to be away from the crowd, but close enough to spend part of your day having fun at the pleasure pier and other fun things Galveston has to offer. We went to the beach every other day of our trip, and it was a perfect location.
Every evening we fished on the canal behind the house! Amazing fishing! We loved the underwater light...our daughter would let us know where the “big fish” were that we should catch.
We caught speckled trout, red drum, black drum, sun fish, ladyfish, catfish, and two huge alligator gar. Our bait fish were also caught right off the dock. We even put a net down and caught some blue crabs!
The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our trip!
We hope to be back in the future!

Perfect little bay front house
House was clean and efficient. We were able to bring our boat and tie up to the outside of the dock with plenty of room. Nieghbor’s across the canal and across the street were very welcoming. Great rental for couples or small families. We really enjoyed the neighborhood and the direct beach access.

Very warm and inviting cottage home!
Great location right off the water and the beach is just across the way! We enjoyed relaxing out on the deck with the water views all around. House was very accommodating, cute and cozy. Very clean and well maintained home. Would highly recommend staying at this place and look forward to visiting again!

Amazing fishing
My son went wade fishing and scored a Texas Slam!!! Trout, red fish, and flounder.
They have lights in the canal and you can see the bait fish.
Great for the grandkids as well! It’s close to Galveston and they have a private beach less than a mile away.
You will love it.
