Very clean, quiet, and peaceful. Host was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with.

We loved that the place had a very quiet setting and was off of the beaten path. My son loved catching lizards, fish and crabs. My daughter loved being close to the water. Laura and Glenn were wonderful to work with. Glenn helped my husband find a place to plug our little electric golf cart in and was available if we needed anything. We hope to stay there again!

We spent a pleasant 3 months here. It’s definitely quiet and peaceful on the canal, there are no neighbors on either side of the house and it feels very rural. The porch is exactly what other reviewers said it would be - just wonderful! We saw deer, a huge owl, three or four otters playing together, lots of song birds and even a stray manatee! Our hosts suggested we use the garage for our golf cart, that was very helpful. We caught fish off the deck and canoed every nice day. There are plenty of canals around and getting to the gulf was pretty simple. There an eclectic collection of furnishings in the house, all the basics, plenty of seating and lots of room. The hosts have compiled a handy notebook, including information on the appliances and how to use them. Thanks, Glenn and Laura, for the great Christmas decorations and the welcome wine. Very thoughtful! We enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful property and nice clean accommodations

We love this perfect spot. Boat stays in water at dock and we know we have nothing to worry about. The peace and quiet makes this spot amazing. Owners know how to make your stay relaxing and stress free. We will be back :-)

This was a fantastic vacation for my family and this property is wonderful. Its nice and secluded yet 3 minutes from everything. Quick access to the river and surrounding marsh. It was exactly what i was looking for. The canoes came in great as well. We saw deer every evening and had a great time scalloping. The beds were very comfortable and it had all the things we needed. And Glen and Laura were extremely nice and welcoming hosts and even came down from town and gave me advice on navigating the marsh. This was one of our favorite vacations and hope to go back soon!

communication with Laura was like texting an old friend! So happy we found their place. Quiet neighborhood off the beaten path and still close enough to the Gulf to go scalloping and fishing. We packed more than we needed. Out of habit mostly, and there was no need to bring anything other than our clothes and food. The whole house is stocked with anything else you need. Beautiful old Florida property, we saw manatees from the dock and deer every day in neighbors yards and along the roads. Truly hope we are able to come back. The porch was my personal favorite spot to enjoy my coffee in the morning and read when the afternoon thunderstorms rolled in. Congrats on owning a really great place!

Loved the peace and tranquility of this cute cottage. We don’t live that far away but is was the perfect escape to disconnect for a bit. Clean and well equipped. The porch sitting is the best!
