Located at the very north end of the beach. Great access to the ocean. Two queen beds and a sofa sleeper allowed great flexibility.

What a perfect cottage for our stay in Va Beach. Location was fantastic with just a short walk to the beach. The hot/cold shower outside to rinse off was great- kids didn’t get cold! The home itself was well appointed and we did not find ourselves lacking in anything. As per reviews they truly have it all when it comes to beach gear. Umbrella, coolers, chairs, sand toys, boogie boards…even a beach wagon! We didn’t need to use half the items we brought. All items were in working order as well! The cottage itself was perfect in every way. Comfortable beds, nice living area, and well stocked kitchen. It was very clean and everything was in working order. The owners called to check in and make sure we had everything we needed- which was so kind for them to check in. The single AC unit in the main living area kept us very cool, but they do include a fan if you need one for the bedroom. To echo that main bathroom is small is true, but we never felt it to be an issue for us or our son. 10/10 would reccomend and in future visits would stay here again!

We had a great time at the house. The location was super, very close to the beach and without any crowds. The house was a bit musty at first but it aired out soon after we were there. The house was very well equipped and the owners were responsive. The bathrooms were very small but functional and clean.

This was our first vacation as a family of 3 and we loved how close we were to the beach. Our 2 year old loved waking up and watching Paw Patrol each morning and reading about Thomas each night. The walk to the beach was nice and the beach itself was great and wasn’t crowded at all. Everything we needed was included with the rental and we didn’t need to bring any extra beach things because they had it all. Thanks for the great week!

The cottage was very well appointed with dishes, glasses, cooking pans, etc.. There was plenty of space for our family of 5. The chairs and beach toys were thoroughly enjoyed and there was a variety of different sized coolers as well. The hot water was a huge bonus at the outdoor shower and we literally had the beach to ourselves one afternoon. The neighborhood is quiet and the location was perfect. We saw fighter jets practicing for the air show, several Navy boats, barges and endless dolphins, sand crabs and pelicans. We highly recommend this property and would love to come again!

We love coming here! This is our second year coming and absolutely love it. The place has everything that you need and is perfect walking distant to the beach. We were able to see some dolphins swimming from shore and relax on the beach and on the deck at the house. Thanks for making it a great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this delightful cottage. Despite the gray weather, it was pleasant to be steps from the beach and lighthouse, which offered informative walking tours. Hosts took care to ensure the house, including the shared laundry room, was clean and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and other items, making it easy to cook some meals at home. We were also pleasantly surprised that there were 3 TVs! We didn't use them all, but this seemed like it would be a plus for families. The hosts were very nice and responded quickly to any questions that arose during our visit.

Everything was as advertised. The place was very clean and the walk to the beach was beautiful. We attended our Son’s graduation from Grad school but still had time to enjoy the beach! Aside from the world’s messiest tree growing through the deck all was fabulous. (I imagine that the tree becomes less messy once Spring ends and Summer begins😂). We really enjoyed our stay at this Cozy Side Beach Cottage. The beds were hard but thankful for the extra mattress pads in the closet to use if we wanted. Nice quiet neighborhood. There was traffic going in and out of the military base but was not bothered by it. Nice walking path to the beach that led to the end of public beach access that allowed there to be minimal amount of beach goers sharing the space. We would consider staying here again.

The Cottage had everything we needed. Great internet, comfy beds and easy access to the beach and our family 4 blocks away!

This is a wonderful, cozy little house, which although older, has been kept up nicely, was well appointed, and VERY clean upon our arrival. The location close to the beach was excellent. Appliances were clean and relatively new. Lots of beach amenities (surf boards, sand toys, wagons, etc) in the laundry room. Things future guests may wish to know: Bathrooms are pretty small, especially with regard to legroom. Even sinks are tiny. It all works, just FYI. May need to leave bedroom doors open on hot summer evenings - A/C is via a "window unit" in the main living room. (Ceiling fans throughout help, but only one room brings in cool air.) All beds have a nice memory foam topper - definitely use! Neighbors were all very friendly. The host was very good with communication, although we had no problems whatsoever. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time at the beach.

The cottage was perfect for our family. A washer & dryer is provided, which really helps for a week stay. Beach accessories were also provided- umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, and toys. It was peaceful, yet convenient to restaurants and parks. The walkway to the beach was tree covered and gave needed shade. Great property; would stay here again.

Location is quiet neighborhood in North End and has short, pretty walk to low key beach. Great for families. Property has laundry and beach gear room which is well stocked with chairs, cart, boogie boards and sand toys. Great to not have to pack all that. Bathrooms small and no DW if that’s an issue for someone but not for us. Nice to have wifi and TVs with Netflix etc. Beds comfy. Good size LR/kitchen. Grocery stores not far. Easy jump off to local sites.

We had an amazing time here. It’s the perfect location. Only a few minute walk to the beach. It was a very relaxing vacation. We will definitely be back

Cute cottage in the (very) north end of Virginia Beach. I love how quiet it is on this side of VB. Ample parking, well stocked kitchen, all of the beach toys/chairs/carts that you need and a nice outdoor area. The house could benefit from a few updates as it was a little musty, but it was nice for our little family retreat!

Such a clean and cozy property. Great location at the North End, meaning less touristy and more like home. Quick ride to anything and the bike path is great. Also loved the walking trails at the end of 88th street. Jeanie was fantastic to work with and prompt with all communication. I look forward to returning in the future.

We loved the residential area, the beach access is very convenient. Was a good home base for trips to Jamestown & Kitty Hawk. It was equipped with everything you could possible need as a family.

We had a great time on our holiday getaway. We were comfortable and everything was positive. We enjoyed the house and we even were able to cook Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen. We were very pleased with our stay.

We needed to leave the bustle of work behind and decided somewhere near the beach would be ideal. This place was perfect! The location could not have been better -- easy access to the beach and a short drive to the state park. The kitchen has new appliances and everything needed for making meals. It was difficult to leave after our multi-day stay. Enjoy!
