Beautiful house and location. Everything was just as described. Enjoyed everything and will be making reservations here next year.

We loved staying at Reel Point. The outside is so beautifully arranged with the pool and hot tub and lots of lounging and playing areas. Great place to stay!

I will start with cons so we end on a good note. Cons: patio/furniture was dirty with lots of spiderwebs, only one fork and no cheese grader, boat dock was to high and couldn’t lower it to water level so pretty much useless, no response from owners when we contacted them to see if we could lower it (we picked this house mainly because we had a pontoon boat that we wanted to leave in the water), mattresses in every room was old (you would roll to the middle of mattress), water heaters were to small to keep up with showers (one shower would deplete all hot water), half the TV remotes had non working batteries (had to switch batteries back and forth to use different TV’s). Pros: Inside house was very clean, views were unbelievable, fire pit was great, outside ice maker worked great, boat ramp was a plus. Even with all the cons, we had a great time. If the beds, boat dock and water heater were addressed, we would return. We would expect the outside patio furniture to be clean since we did pay a pretty good cleaning fee. Hopefully someone will address the issues for future guests.

Overall, we had an excellent stay! The house is just as listed, and the property is so beautiful and has the perfect view for a sunset! Having a pool and a hot tub was an added perk! It is a quiet area and the perfect weekend getaway from the city. The stars at night are unreal! A few things to be aware of: definitely bring backup kitchen items. There was a one fork and very minimal utensils provided for a large group. There are definitely bugs, which is to be expected, but it seemed like it could have been wiped down a little more before our arrival and the cobwebs and dust outside made it seem like no one had been at the property in a long time. Otherwise, the house is very nice. The beds could use an upgrade, but we aren’t really at the property to spend time in bed, so we were okay. We would love to rent again, and some few minor tweaks would make this the ultimate lake house getaway! Overall, great stay!

We had a really nice stay and great family time at this property. The outdoor area is spacious and there is a lot of room to run and play. The pool was great and the hot tub was fun for all. When we arrived there were 15 cows all around the property (front and back yards). We were told to close the front gate as soon as we arrived so they didn’t enter but they were already there. They were crossing over through the lake from another property. They had done their business all over the property and we spent over an hour in the hot sun scooping it up and disposing of it. The entire property outdoors is covered in cobwebs and spiders. This includes all of the areas (bunkhouse, dock, porch, bar area, and one nasty urinal out by the lakeside bar). We spent an additional hour+ cleaning cobwebs off of TV’s, counters, dock area, and all outdoor furniture, walls, and windows. The cows returned everyday and we were busy shooing them off several times each day and cleaning up after them so the kids didn’t step in it while playing. We understood that only one person should shower at a time due to the septic system but after the first couple of showers the water was cold. You cannot dock your boat at the boat dock. The dock is too high and drop down was rusted over. Boat had to be re-trailered after each time. The grills need to be replaced and are unclean. We enjoyed our time but for the money charged will not rent again. We found the advertised details a bit misleading.

Definitely one of the best rentals we've ever stayed at. Not only was the house clean and comfortable, the owner was extremely friendly and responsive. Everything was amazing! We are confident that we will be back.

Very well appointed and comfortable property, but in reviewing our stay in particular, there were definitely things that could have been improved upon for the price. There were about a dozen cows on the property when we arrived and we didn't mind the cows as much as what they left all over the lawn. Thankfully, we didn't have kids with us or they would have been stepping in cow manure all day. It was everywhere. The TVs worked intermittently and the TV in the pavilion area by the lake didn't work at all. In the owner's defense, they're aware of this and working on it, but that pavilion was the main reason we booked this property and it was unusable. The fridge in the bunkhouse was leaking water all over the floor and we had to plug it with towels. The dishwasher stopped working on our last day. We had an issue with ants in the kitchen on the interior wall, which means there's a problem there. Nice place...but this property had more issues than any rental we've been at and the owners didn't make us aware of any of them before we arrived.

Extremely pleased with the house and all amenities. Very clean and comfortable. Great view and easy access. Will definitely refer and be back again.

Wonderful Place to stretch out and relax with our grown kids and one grandson! Pool is awesome and property is well maintained and user friendly. I will definitely recommend to friends and extended family.

This was the second stay for our family at Reel Point Resort. Beautiful property in a perfect location. We were provided with everything needed, inside and outside. We enjoyed the private dock for fishing and easy access to the lake, the swimming pool, and well furnished patio for gathering outside. Had a great time and a wonderful stay. Hope to return for another family trip. Thank You

This is one of my favorite VRBO properties in existence. So much that I've been known to book stays here a year in advance! It is so perfectly homey, yet expansive and impressive at the same time. We loved getting to stay here - the house is so comfortable as if it's your own, but you have no doubt you're on vacation when you're here! We can't wait until Summer 2023 dates are released and we can come back!

This property has the perfect lake vacation amenities, great dock for fishing and easy lake access. We were there during the week and the lake was very quiet, just what we were looking for. Lots of exterior seating, outdoor kitchen that was easy to use and full size pool. There is something to do for all ages on this property. Chad the owner was very responsive and helpful to any questions we had.

We enjoyed this place very much. Will be booking early for next summer. One of the best places to stay on PK if not the best.

Playing on the name Reel Point Resort it is truly like your own private oasis. Every need for bedrooms, kitchen and baths are inside, but the true resort is the outside. Upgrades from when we were there is 2019 were amazing. Out door kitchen, firepits, swimming pool , chairs and tables and the outdoor TV (which we only turned on once.) No need for TV just relaxing. The house also has a lot of board games and activities for all ages to play.. There was 12 of us from ages 75 down to 18.! Was a great peaceful stay.

This was our 2nd time staying at Reel Point Resort, and it was just as great this year as last year. Everyone loved the hot tub, swimming pool, and fishing dock! The house was clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked with what we needed for cooking meals inside and outside. This place is perfect, and we’ll visit again!

Our family of 10 stayed over a long weekend. We brought our pontoon boat but was not able to use the property ramp due to a slightly low water level. Fortunately there was a public ramp 10 minutes away. The house and the backyard was a great fit and the views were incredible. Although the cooler than normal weather kept us off the lake one day there were plenty other options in the backyard to keep everybody happy. Our family plans on going back in the future.

We have stayed here before all the renovations. It was great the first time and even more so this time. So many places to sit, relax and visit. The first time we were here was for my husbands 60th birthday, this time was to hold his memorial at his favorite place. We couldn't be happier with our decision.
