This had all the amenities for all ages and it was amazing.

This is a great property. On windy days when the water was rough, loved that there were kayaks and paddle boards to entertain the littles. LOVE that it is in a no wake zone cove.

Property was clean and spacious! The kids and even the adults enjoyed the game room! Large outdoor area to play corn hole. Views were beautiful from the comfortable screen porch! Would definitely use this house again!

Nice, quiet. Perfect for big families.

Three years ago we started hosting an annual extended family weekend. Our family now consists of our 3 sons, 2 daughter-in-laws and 5 young grandchildren. Everyone agreed this is the best place we have stayed. Accommodations were more than adequate for each family unit. The extra gameroom was fun and the outdoor space was enjoyed by all of us. We will definitely plan to try to stay here again.

We had 5 couples for a 4 night stay. We have traveled and rented many places. This is THE best rental we’ve experienced. The home is exactly as advertised. Very well maintained and decorated beautifully. Everyone had a very comfortable bed to sleep. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked! There is not a single item you need that isn’t already there. The home is so beautifully decorated, comfortable, homey and welcoming. Even the laundry room is nicely decorated. All appliances worked well. The screened in patio was a beautiful space for morning coffee. Nice outdoor gathering spaces. The game room was an added bonus. We enjoyed it. We used the refrigerator in there to store all of our beverages. There was outdoor parking for our 2 boats. We couldn’t pull our boat up to the dock because of low lake levels. It was just a mild disappointment, not a big issue. Watching all of the water fowl from the dock in the mornings was captivating. We ate at Boondocks one night. Good food and friendly people. We ate another night at Hemmingways. EXCEPTIONALLY good food and ambiance. We wish we would have booked another 5 days at Twisted Hook! Would love to go back. Lastly, I have pretty high standards when it comes to cleanliness in a rental. I’m often disappointed. I cannot give enough praise for how clean this house and property are. It would pass a white glove test…. I’m not even kidding. Kudos to your cleaning staff!! 👏👏 So pleased we found it.

Place was stocked well, has plenty of dishes. Spend most of the time in the game room, while not on the lake fishing. Host went above and beyond to make your stay great.

I would recommend this place to anyone visiting PK. They have a private dock with kayaks and paddle boards. The fishing is great right outside of their cove. The garage game room is where we spent most of our time. We have 13 of us and we could have slept 5 more easily. Sarah and Landon were so very kind and helpful. Anytime we had a question I could call or text Sarah and she would respond within minutes. We made lots of memories and the kids didn't want to leave. We will definitely be coming back!!

We had high expectations based on the great pictures and amazing reviews — and we weren’t disappointed. Everything was just as described. Check-in was a breeze and the house was spotless, well maintained and stocked with everything we could need. We were a group of six, including older kids and grandparents, and there was something for everyone and we all had a blast. We especially appreciated the great communication and super organized and detailed guidebook. Clearly quite a bit of thought went into every detail to make for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. This was a great space for our retreat! The spaces were amazing! Wish the weather had been warmer to spend outside in the screened in porch or patio but cold air came through. Decor was beautiful, kitchen was great! Would definitely book again!

This house is BEAUTIFUL! I absolutely love the way they have everything set up. There is so much room in this house fo guests. We stayed here for my wedding, me, my bridal party and some family members all stayed here and everyone had a place to sleep. We didn't have to try to cram everyone into shared beds. Everything was clean and the house is very nice, Sarah, the host, is so kind and helpful! I was in contact with her for months before our stay and she was so helpful answering questions & giving recommendations. She even had flowers & a cute basket with some goodies there for me and my soon to be husband which was SO sweet of her to do! I 100% recommend and my family wants to come back to stay at this exact house for a family vacation! Cannot wait.

Stayed here for our annual guys fishing trip! The property itself is amazing! The sleeping arrangements were perfect, especially for my grandpa to get some good sleep away from all the noise! Our only complaint was the amount of turtles in that area, and the depth of the water! Definitely made fishing from the bank a challenge! Thank you for opening up your home!

We loved the game room and bunk room for the kiddos! The property owner was so fkexible with check in and out as well!

Our family had a blast! Beautiful lake house

There was fun for all ages including kayaking, fishing from dock, exploring along the shoreline for animal tracks, live clams, crabs, etc to playing in the huge air-conditioned game room (darts, ping pong, air hockey, foosball…) and s’mores over fire pit in evenings. We never left the premises for the week! I did the cooking and the kitchen was truly FULLY stocked with Pyrex baking pans, sharp knives, hand mixer, whisk, grater, crockpot, etc. Lots of seating for meals!

We love our time at Twisted Hook. The house is clean and beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We cooked all our meals and had all the tools and grills we needed. They also have tons of fun activities in the game room. The direct access to the water is amazing. We fished and kayaked off the dock and the kids swam all day. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay so much! Such a beautiful house with all the amenities you will ever need on a quiet lakefront neighborhood! Plenty of room for all our family! We all enjoyed the game room that had something for everyone. Truly the perfect getaway and our host was so sweet to check in with us and insure we had all we needed!

This was our 2nd time to stay at this house. It has so much space and perfect for our family. Sarah is a wonderful hostess paying attention to all of the details and in constant communication with us. We would definitely recommend this home.

Great time for our girl's trip! The house had so many beds and bathrooms we weren't fighting for space. Game room was an absolute blast. Many games of ping pong and some serious Euchre games played. We enjoyed our time and Sarah was a gem to deal with.

Whether it’s relaxing in the screened in porch, fishing off the boat dock, kayaking on the lake, roasting s’mores at night, playing in the game room or watching the sunsets! I would highly recommend this property. We stay in a lake house VRBO every summer and this is the nicest one we have ever stayed in. The decor is beautiful and no detail is missed. Everything you need for kitchen, etc is there. The game room came in very handy because the weather didn’t really cooperate for us to be on the lake and so we got to fill our time in the gameroom. Sarah, the host is so nice and helpful as well. We paid a little more than we normally do but it was well worth it. We could not have been any more comfortable. It was only our family of four but this would be great for large group as it has a really cool bunk room. Sarah even left a gift basket with stuff for s’mores. I could go on and on but if you want to stay at PK lake this is an AWESOME place to stay !!!

This home was perfect! Our family of 11 stayed here and loved every minute. The 5 grandchildren had a huge bunk room with plenty of space . And right outside the door was a gigantic game room full of games! Pool , fuse ball, air hockey and more. The owners have thoughtfully thought of every single detail to make our stay absolutely incredible! Anything you might need is there! We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary here and watching the grandchildren laugh and enjoy being together was the best present ever! We can hardly wait to go again!
