The communication with owner before check in was great. After we checked in we discovered The house had cobwebs along the ceiling. There is a separate bedroom with 2 twins and trundle beds that you access from an outside door. Although there is no bathroom out there so you’d have to enter the main house to use the restroom. There is also no curtain on the window making it difficult to change clothes. The window A/C unit was dripping causing an odor. The house had sticky berries from the trees covering the back porch and driveway. Our family did enjoy the direct access to the river. We spent a lot of time out there. The location is also close to town and restaurants, Muck and Fuss was very good.

Rating would be 5 stars except for the construction work going on all around starting from 7 am til 7 pm and spiders in the room outside the main haus. We had a pleasant stay convenient for floating on the Comal river

The actual location of this place was really great. But the fact that the owners fail to mention that there are three houses being built and it was non stop construction noise our entire trip is unacceptable. We spent 5k for a relaxing Mother’s Day weekend and heard jackhammers at 8 am. When we called the owner they said not their issue they don’t own the house next door!! Instead of being honest and telling people it was an active construction site. They even worked through the weekend. The house itself is very dated and furniture is worn and very dirty. For the amount of money they charged for each night was ridiculous for its condition. There were spider webs and dust on fans and ceilings. The only highlight is the drop into the river situation. Would never never rent again. They did not make any concessions for our complaints. If they would have told us about the construction we would have never rented this place.

Great house on the comal river! During the weekends, this is a popular place for people to stop and hang out, so a few times we had to shoot people off if we wanted to get into the water, but it was easy Peezy and no one was upset, Only downfall for this house is that there are only two bathrooms, and one bedroom is kind of separate from the rest of the house but loved everything else!

I can't describe appropriately how awesome it was. Just rent it. You won't regret it!!

We rented this home to stay in for the weekend of my brothers wedding. It was absolutely amazing. The location and views were perfect! We enjoyed every minute of our stay!

It was amazing. We are a large family and every year my three sisters and I take a three day river trip with our daughters. We are 35 years old to 71 and like fun but comfort at the same time. This had it all, excellent access, well stocked, clean and easy to arrange.

Excellent stay! Very nice house right on the water. Easy communication! Can't wait to do it again.

This beautiful home sits right on the river with a large deck and river access. It is right across from the New Schlitterbahn water park. Very clean and excellent response time and help from owners. Many amenities in the home to make your stay comfortable. Had a wonderful time and hope to be back next summer.

Rented this house to get together with 12 friends! 2 couples flew in from Minnesota to see what the river was all about! Walking distance to great bars and easy float in float out property with a great hangout spot for the rainy times! Thanks so much for this amazing place to stay

The property was great! All of the accommodations inside were perfect for our group of 10, along with the 2 refrigerators and kitchen ware. The back patio/deck was very large with plenty of room for activities, the only issue we had was the grill did not work. Having direct access to the river was the best part about this property, with the depth ranging anywhere from 1-4 feet made it ideal for setting up lawn chairs and throwing around a football. I would highly recommend water shoes. We will definitely be back to visit in the future!

The house right on the Comal was perfect for our family. We loved the patio overlooking the water and also the close distance to downtown.

This was a great getaway for our family during spring break. I loved the direct access to the river. Instead of floating we found a shallow spot directly across the river where we were able to anchor and enjoy the sun. Andrew was more than helpful with cart rental and suggestions on where to hang in town. The river was not busy during our stay which made sitting outside watching the flow amazing. A few of us jumped in the river which was cold at first but after a quick dunk you don't feel it. We were 12 adults and 2 kids age 6 and 8. The house had accommodations for everyone. The management team was excellent with answering our questions and even showed up when I thought I had an issue with the door code. A+ for this place!

Although the weather did not cooperate, the stay was great! The property location is amazing! Safe to say that if we come back to New Braunfels, we’ll look up this property again. Great communication with property manager too!

Perfect for 3 adult children, one granddaughter and myself. Each couple had their own room. Lots of places to sit and visit. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and cooking utensils. Easy to cook dinner each night.

For an older home, it was sufficient for our group, however, 2 bathrooms for that many people (14) was somewhat "trying". The kitchen was well stocked with enough cookware & utensils & there were extra linens for each bed. The patio & porch was large enough for all of us, along with plenty of seating. They, also, provided the river tubes & had them blown up & ready to go. I would recommend this house to anyone wanting to enjoy the Comal River, especially since the stairway access was a must (some homes have ladder access). All in all, I would, absolutely, rent this home again....hands down.

Just to keep this short... the communication with the property manager was slow and I had to ask for checkin information the day before we arrived. The house needs a deep clean, as the books and crannies had been neglected. The dishes in the cabinet were dirty and I had to run them in the dishwasher before use. The microwave was broken when we arrived but it was replaced immediately. The tube rentals were shut down after we booked the trip, so they provided tubes for us to use, but there was no real way to do a normal 1-2 hr float. We enjoyed floating on the river just in front of the house, and it was a relaxing few days, but for the price, I think it was too expensive. The bedroom with the twin beds is not connected to the main portion of the house - only accessible from a door on the driveway. We didn’t feel comfortable putting tween/teen kids down there. I would return if the price was more in line with the cleanliness and actual beds in the house. The location was perfect and it was a shame the public river access points weren’t open.

This was the perfect house for a large family or multiple families! It is a perfect spot on the water to float or tie off and hang out! The patios were great for lunches and dinner and late night talks. So many memories were made and we hated leaving, we will definitely be back and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else! Thank you to our hosts for such an amazing stay! We will see y’all soon!!!!

The outside areas are great-seating right next to the river. Lots of bedrooms and plenty of space for a family. The extra refrigerator isn’t he laundry room was the best surprise. Lots of room for drinks! We had a great time and would love to come back to this house.

We had a great long weekend. 4 couples with room to spare. The location can not be beat! Right on the river. Plenty of outdoor seating space. So great, in fact, that we decided against going out to eat like we thought we would so that we could grill and enjoy the deck and view. A very short walk to the town square which was surprisingly full of restaurants, bars, bakeries and shopping. We would definitely rent this again as couples or 2 families.
