This is the first time we stayed in Rhode Island, and the experience could not have been better. Accommodations were perfect for us, with comfortable beds and AC, which were both greatly appreciated after hot/humid days outside. The beach was close by and wonderful, and there is so much to do in the area. Many excellent restaurants nearby, several within walking distance. And Susan, the owner, was awesome.

Susan was very accessible and helped with all our concerns. The town is lovely - it would be nice if there was a small food market for basic items though.

Rented house and adjacent cottage for large multi family group celebrating my mom’s 80th! First floor living with bed/bath great for her, tons of space for everyone. Huge yard (bring a frisebee!) and deck with umbrella table. So close to the beach, bike path and terrific cocktail bars on the water. Susan was a great host- very responsive. Very very happy with our stay, and would highly recommend.

Our son got married in RI and our family stayed in this home. It was wonderful! The beds are super comfortable, plenty of room for everyone, incredibly well located, and the house has everything you need. Susan is a sweetheart who truly cared about making our stay the best it could be. Rent this house, you won’t regret it!

Hurricane henri threatened to derail our trip and I’m so glad it worked out. We had a wonderful stay and the owners were super responsive with any question or issue.

Every year we take a vacation with extended family and this was our first time in Narragansett. The beach is beautiful and an easy walk from the house. The house had enough bedrooms and bathrooms for our needs and was clean. Susan was easy to contact and responded immediately. We loved it here!

We are a family with different age groups who wanted to experience different things each day. This house was hands down the best home base we could have asked for. So convenient to the beach, shopping, and restaurants in Narragansett, and also close to Route 1 for travels to Newport, Mystic, or beyond. The house is huge and perfect for large families or groups. It has been renovated very recently and everything is new and very clean. We enjoyed the house immensely and even enjoyed a rainy day inside doing puzzles on the island in the kitchen. Honestly, it was the perfect fit.

Beach Chairs, night lights, loads of pot and pans, they had lobster crackers which we always bring with us but they had plenty. There is so much space that no one felt cramped. Reading on the front porch, watching the hummingbirds on the Rose of Sharon and people watching. Back porch eating dinner and hanging out. Warm ocean in August

Our extended family, from babies to grandparents, had an amazing stay! The house is better than pictured! Susan was so easy to communicate with and when she was made aware that the sand toys were missing, she went right out and bought them. It’s a spacious and cozy home. Downstairs is bigger than it looks with an extra family room. Deck was perfect for socializing in the evening and the back yard was great for frisbee and corn hole. Walk to beach was a quick 5 minutes and the beach passes made it so affordable. Highly recommend. We will be checking back to see if they have any openings for next summer for sure!!

Vacationing with teenagers can be a challenge and this house was perfect for the adults to have a great time with very little worrying about the teens. Walking distance to the town beach, close to markets and dock (for lobsters and crabs off the boat). Susan was great to communicate with and very responsive. We already put a deposit down for next year! Great week away in a very safe environment.

We all just loved the house and the location! The house was so clean and very beautiful. The location was the best, we had kids aged 11-16 and they could just ride their bikes and walk everywhere. The beach was also so close, an easy walk even with our beach gear.Susan was so accommodating, it was a great experience renting from her!

Two large families had a great time at this house. It had everything we needed. Great outdoor space for kids and the grownups. Susan was great to work with though no problems came up during our stay.

This home was perfect for our large family gathering! The house has been completely updated since our first stay and the owners did a wonderful job. We loved all the space and how close we were to the beach! We can’t wait to come back again soon!

It was a dream and we were blessed with perfect weather for this family reunion!

This recently renovated house was the perfect place for us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our 3 children, their spouses and 7 grandkids, aged 3 to 15. There was plenty of room, both inside and out. We loved gathering on the big deck as the kids played in the yard. The clean and sandy beach was just a short walk away, and everyone enjoyed surfing the waves. At the pier we liked to get Dunkin’ Donuts (a.m)and Nana’s Ice Cream (p.m.) Our grown up kids enjoyed a night out at the Coast Guard House while we babysat,and loved that it was a walkable destination. They treated us to an anniversary dinner there too and the food was spectacular. The home owner, Susan, made everything easy, and responded immediately to any questions we had. I would give this place even more than 5 stars!

Just completed a week at the beautiful property. We are a multi generational family ages 17-83. The property is a beautiful vintage home that has been completely and beautifully updated. Our family loved it because it is a short walking distance to beach, shops, and several restaurants, something for everyone. It is often difficult for our family to find a home with enough comfortable bedrooms and this home fit the bill. Also plenty of bathrooms with loads of hot water and great pressure. We choose to include the linen package for sheets and towels as family members came and went all week long. There is a excellent washer and dryer for washing linens for the next family member which was very important for us. Kitchen was well stocked and excellent air conditioning which is a biggie for the family. If you are thinking of a family vacation this home is a great choice. We had no problems but the owner is very hands on and near by if necessary, plus lovely to work with.

Beautifu home , short walk to beach , very spacious with gleaming hardwood floors .. Susan was an an amazing lady , very attentive, and very easy to work with . Highly recommend this property and looking forward to next summer !

This is a wonderful home, with fantastic owners!. They are rady to cater to your every need if necessary! The house is spacious, and accessible to the beach and restaurants in Narragansett. Our family loved that it was air-conditioned for sleeping, yet we spent alot of time on the deck. A great outdoor shower is a summertime treat! We will return to this prpperty!

This is a really stunning property. The house itself is big and well decorated and furnished. It has a great open kitchen and living room, which is perfect for hanging out and relaxing. The location couldn't be better - a 5 minute walk to a beach that is clean and family friendly. It is also walking distance to stores and restaurants. The hosts are lovely too; they are super responsive with any questions. We had a really great time and recommend this house to anyone who is looking for an awesome and relaxing beach vacation!

Our stay was excellent!! We enjoyed everything and Susan is wonderful. She was prompt in responding to questions and she was awesome to work with. She made the trip easy to arrange and it was stress free. The house is absolutely beautiful!! There was plenty of room and all the rooms were nicely done. It’s an easy walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. We had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this house, you will not be disappointed!!

We have been renting houses in the Narragansett area for the past 8 years. This house was the best by far. We had our family of 5, my parents, my brothers family of 4 and my sister and her husband. The kids all had their own rooms..huge bonus. The adults were all very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Many places say “walkable” to the beach, but in this case it is true. My 4 year old had no problem carrying his things back and forth. The beach is beautiful, clean with all the amenities. Susan was super responsive to any and all needs. I recommend this home without reservation. Thank you Susan for a wonderful home to enjoy our family vacation.

We truly enjoyed staying in this house. We visit Narragansett with a large family every other year, and this house was just the right size for four generations. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. When it rained, there was plenty of room in the dining room to play games. The house is close to our favorite places like the beach, Newport, Aunt Carrie's. We went on the Rail Explorers excursion out of Portsmouth. I would definitely recommend this house.

My family spent a week at this house and thoroughly enjoy our stay. This house met our needs for bedrooms and bathrooms. We had a chance to reconnect with our Rhode Island family. Thanks to Susan for being so responsive to our needs.

This was a comfortable vacation home for families, clean and roomy. convenient walking distance to Narragansett Town beach. Susan couldn't have been more welcoming. She stopped by to make sure all was ok. We have stayed in Narragansett for the past 4 years, and this was by far the best. My 6 of my grandchildren, son and 2 daughters and daughter-in-law were very happy with the accomodations. I would recommend this to any large family. There are many activities in Narragansett, although we spent most of our time on the beach, surfing and boogie boarding. Restaurants are also in easy walking distance or a short drive away.

We just came back from spending a week at this beautiful house. It comfortably accommodated my large family and extended family. If you choose to stay here, the location is perfect. You could spend the week never getting in your car. A close walk to the beautiful beach ( we heard from the locals, it was one of the nicest in the area), shops, restaurants, coffee shops, parks. It has it all. If you choose to get in your car, everything is 10-20 min away! We can't wait to go back!!

We loved staying in this beautiful house. All of the information in the post is accurate- the bedrooms are spacious and the location superb. We have stayed in other houses in the area, and have never had the service or attention we received from the owners of this property. Any little issues we had were instantly addressed. So… if you are planning a getaway with a large group- consider this house. I hope your stay is as wonderful as ours!!

8 thirteen year old girls and 8 moms together for a week at the beach. What could be better? And this house was perfect. The girls took over the third floor. We were comfy on the second and the first floor allowed us to mingle and enjoy each others company after supper. A great porch to sit on and enjoy beginnings and ends of the day. The house is well designed and well equipped. And when anything went wrong, Susan or her son were there in a heartbeat. They were fantastic.The location is perfect, just off the beach and the constant sea breeze made air conditioning unnecessary. We had a fantastic time and there's already talk of a reunion next summer.

We spent a week at this home and had an amazing time. We are a large group of 3 families and the space worked out perfectly for us. We loved it so much we have already booked a week for 2011.

We stayed for one week along with16 of our family and it was an ideal home and location for us. There were plenty of rooms -many had their own sitting areas attached for extra space and plenty of bathrooms for everyone(which is key with that many in one house). The location was perfect! We did not have to get in the car all week. There was so much for everyone to do nearby it made the family week surprisingly enjoyable. We would stay here again anytime.
