We loved our time at this property. The house is small but it's all about the location. The bathrooms are updated and clean. The kitchen was tight but the outdoor space more than compensates.

A few suggestions: handrails are needed in the showers, & the back storm door closes too hard often trapping body parts ( we have bruises to prove it). TV usage was quite challenging. If your neighbors in back would trim the bush at the corner down to fence level, you would have a fantastic view of the lake.

We loved this property - it is exactly as advertised. Full kitchen, which is nice, and plenty of beach towels. The bedding was nice, we all slept well. My son wanted to take the shower home. It is just a little tricky to find - be sure to follow the directions carefully and go all the way around the hairpin turn. We would stay again - great access to beach.

It was our 1st visit to South Haven. We loved it! Cottage was perfect with the best location. Beach, shopping, biking chartered fishing. Exceeded our expections!!!We hope to visit again👍

Had a great time at this comfortable and clean cottage. The beach was huge with soft white sand. Parking was close and easy. Set in a beautiful, quite community. The sunsets are gorgeous!

This cottage was perfect for our family of four! The location cannot be beat as you are literally just steps away from North Beach. The kitchen and bathroom have been nicely updated, and there was plenty of bedroom space for all. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation in South Haven.

We loved our stay at the Poplars! Literally every part of our stay was perfect! The pictures don’t do this property justice. We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The property managers couldn’t have made the arriving process any easier. Right away we received a text. We didn’t need a thing, but they were just a text away if we did. They also left popcorn and a bottle of wine for us! The Poplars is so, so close to the beach! We just truly couldn’t have been happier with our stay! We will definitely be staying here again!!!

Just amazing
This was our favorite trip this summer! Perfect location- property was so clean and well equipped. The communication with property management was best I have ever had ever renting a summer property… that’s over 17 years!!! We can’t recommend highly enough!!!!

Wonderful vacation with GREAT location!
The cottage was a perfect location, but semi private since it was one house back from the beach. Our 6-year old grandson loved the water! The place was clean and very comfortable.

South Haven Treasure!
This rental is perfect! So close to the beach but also offers privacy. The home was VERY clean and welcoming. Parking is convenient. We really enjoyed this vacation spot and already are planning our return!

Great cottage is in a wonderful location! The beach was SO close and so beautiful (the best part!), and South Haven was wonderfully walkable. Great vacation spot! Owners are very responsive and friendly.

The house was perfect for our stay. We were so close to the water and there was a little playground on the beach for the kids. The hosts left little cookies, hot chocolate and popcorn that the kids enjoyed. Such a thoughtful touch. We are already talking about when to go back.

Roughly four queen size beds and a single on a bunkbed, so occupancy 8 is pretty accurate. Thank you very much for the use of the beach chairs!

We loved our stay at Poplars! The hosts are super thoughtful with little details. Location was perfect. A very short walk to the beach and even has some views of the water out a couple of the windows. We were also able to walk into town to grab a bite to eat.

I can't say enough good things about this home and the manager (Debbie). I am hesitant to write all the good things about this home because I don't want anyone else staying in this gem. Debbie made the stay worth it. Don't be fooled by the size the home it is very spacious and well laid out. You are seconds from the beach and only 15 min walk (depending on bridge) from downtown. We were able to go back and forth from the beach for food, beverages and bathroom. You can't beat it. We will be staying here again. A+ rental and personnel running it!

Being this close to the beach was an awesome experience especially for my son and his friend. Morning coffee on the back porch, conversations with people heading to the beach, grilling food and ending the day with a magnificent sunset over Lake Michigan. You will truly enjoy your time

Weekday Getaway
We booked this cottage for a short South Haven getaway. It was our first time visiting South Haven and it made the trip very enjoyable. Very short walk to the beach made it very easy to go back and forth with our two small children
