Very spacious, ideal if you like privacy. Spotless clean. The house is adjoining the owners house but you won't even notice that. Parking in the front. Location is great (if you have a car), remote yet still pretty close to the village or to Funchal. Very well equipped kitchen, nice and soft couch. Complimentary bread and bottled water were very kind.

- Very uncomfortable bed. - A bit difficult communication, no response on the booking messenger on the day of the check in. When we arrived, we weren't sure if we're in the right place and the person on the site (I'm guessing the owner) didn't speak English at all but we managed. - Lack of bin bags in the house.

Remote location, but still close to main road to Funchal. Lovely older couple taking care of a place. We were even welcomed with cake and fresh bakery. Excelent location for somebody who want to rest from city life. Additionally great place if somebody plan to do a lot of hiking in mountains.

Perfect, if you want privacy. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Close to shops, bus stops and center of Santana. Friendly host who greeted us with wine and homemade cookies.

Priceworthy and newly renovated with nice kitchen area.with everything you need for cooking! Good shower and washing machine. Nice view of mountains from the kitchen.

We had asked for a baby bed which was delivered late on the night we arrived (though it was new and well working!) They were nice and offered a baby chair, but it came after two days. It felt a bit difficult with communication through text messages. Beds a bit firm for our taste. Further from the city center than we understood from the map, there is nice walking path with stairs but it is quite steep up to the center and takes 20 min by foot.
