Great place to get family together

We so enjoyed this house with another family for a week in July. There were 10 of us and the house was well appointed, with plenty of room and in a prime location. The house was clean and comfortable with all the needed amenities. We were in close proximity to the pool and beach but still afforded amble privacy when enjoying time on the decks. Betty was the most exceptional host. Very responsive and accommodating. Couldn’t have asked for a better start to summer!

Our family of 5 met up with cousins (a family of 4). We all had our own space. It was a great setup for all of us to have our own room. This property is not on the beach but you can take a quick walk and there you are!

Wonderful location and amenities for adults and kids. Village Beach club was great addition! Betty was responsive and helpful during the entire stay.

We were very comfortable and had plenty of room to move around. What caught my attention was the fresh scent throughout. All appliances were up to date. We had an easy walk to the beach. Hope to return to this location!

The house is exactly as shown, clean, roomy, perfectly located to pool and beach. Great hot tub. Even tho weather was not warm and sunny, the hot tub saved the day. Location was good so we can go visit other areas easily. All enjoyed and we have some great, fun memories.

Rented this property for a long weekend with friends. Conveniently located in the outer banks. Betty is amazing and communicated with us right away when we had questions. They have everything you need. The beach is so close. We were so comfortable there and had a blast! Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! The beachy decor was adorable throughout the house and was very clean. The location was easily accessible to the beach, although you had to walk across the street to get to the access walkway. We thought it was much closer to the house based on the photographs, but about a three minute walk. We had two 4 year olds and a 1 year old, but it wasn’t a busy neighborhood. Very quiet, which we liked. Lots of steps to get to the main living area, so be prepared if you have anyone with knee problems. Our host was wonderful!! She answered all of our questions right away. All in all, we loved our stay! The only drawback, which the host can’t control, was a fishing tournament held the weekend we were there. Trucks and fishermen lined the beach, tearing up the beach, leaving large ruts, which made it a little difficult to walk for some family members. The kids were disappointed when we couldn’t spend time on the beach during the day while the tournament was going on. If you take a trip in October, I’d inquire about the tournament and when it’s held so you have optimal beach time.

We enjoyed our stay. It checked all the boxes and met all our needs. The kitchen is extremely well stocked so that was a nice surprise. The only thing I would have changed was that the house would not have been so close to Hwy 12 (it basically backs up to the hwy). Overall it was great!

Came with my husband, 2 little boys and extended family members for a vacation reunion and had a wonderful time. House is just as advertised, super clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.

The property is as described. Betty was a wonderful hostess answering my questions before we arrive. The location was close the the grocery store, and all of your entertainment and dining needs. Love it!

Family vacation with 5 adults 2 kids house had plenty of room. Location is excellent close to all major attractions . There were some broken things when we checked in Betty responded promptly and had everything fixed. Great property to rent

Perfect location! 5 min walk to beach - and the beach was never crowded! 5ish min walk to pool and club house area House was perfect - we had 7 adults all 18+ with plenty of room - Kitchen is well appointed and we cooked almost all meals at the house - Food Lion grocery store is a 2 min drive away Close to all the area ‘must do’ things like Wright Bros memorial, Bodie Light House - and lots more Only ding at all is no room darkening shades in top floor bedroom - that morning sun comes in bright and early! Betty is a super responsive owner and answered any questions I had within a few mins via text We will be back again!

It was a great experience! Every ugh gets was lovely and the place was so clean! We felt very comfortable. The only slight downside is that the property is backed up to a very busy road and was quite noisy at times. That traffic plus white curtains ensured the kids woke up extra early (like with the sun at 6am daily). Bring earplugs and a sleeping mask! Otherwise it was so perfect for our vacation.

Community pool is beautiful and was never overly crowded. Beach access from the house is quick, but the beach to the pool is a much longer walk. Hard to go from one to another, but really not a big deal as you can park your car at the pool. Overall we had everything we needed and Betty was very responsive and accommodating. Very convenient location to shopping and many great restaurants. Loved our first time in the Outer Banks!

Nags Head. Our family loved it. Was a great place to relax and enjoy time at the beach

Pros: -The location to the beach was absolutely amazing. Less than 2 min walk to the boardwalk to the beach. -Beach area was for residents and guests, not public. Was not crowded at all. -Owner provided several beach supplies (chairs, sand toys, umbrellas), which was great! -We enjoyed access to the pool/clubhouse with the house (we used on red flag days). -The house fit our needs (10 people) -Deck space was plenty with 3 different decks. -Kitchen was stocked with plenty of basic appliances, kitchen wear and cooking staples. Cons: (all minor) -The main road through the banks, was close to the back of the house on one of the decks (mostly loud in the morning). -The amount of cleaning expectations was a lot for checkout considering a service comes in after you leave. -Bathroom space on middle bedroom floor was minimal to share for up to 8 people, especially for extended stay. -Lots of stairs, no problem for younger families, could be different for some. Overall, we had a great trip. House is in a great location to get to all of outer banks activities and sites! Would deffintly stay again.

Our family and friends spent our Memorial Day Weekend in Betty's home and it accommodated 12 perfectly. The house was a perfect location for walking to and from the beach. The hot tub was very nice to relax in during the evenings after our beach days. The house was nice and we loved hanging out on the middle deck with the hammock and swing, such a great touch! After discussing with the family, I believe the only thing we would recommend would be having curtains on the bedroom windows in addition to the blinds to have the option to block the morning sun that would sneak through the blinds. Along with the home being nice, Betty is also a great host! Someone from our group accidentally forgot a sundress hanging on a closet door handle and Betty generously had the cleaning crew ship it back to us. We greatly appreciate it! We greatly enjoyed our stay and are so bummed that it is over already!

We chose this home because it was sufficiently big to hold our entire family (although fewer came than expected). The living quarters and our bedroom were on the third floor and the four other bedrooms plus two baths were on the second. Excellent configuration! Very convenient to all of our wedding venues and to where the wedding party was staying. Plenty of room and a very short distance to the beach. Betty was incredibly responsive to all our needs and questions. We did not experience any problems. Check out was simple.

The other comments--as well as owner's description--of the property are quite accurate and I will largely echo them both. Pros: a very unique home layout, plenty of space/room, the bathrooms in particular are quite nice (i.e. you can tell all of them have recently been re-done), truly a 5 minute walk to the beach, the location is very nice (close to everything, although you can hear some traffic if you listen close enough), dishes in kitchen were adequate, the hot tub is nice/spacious. Most importantly (imo), Betty was ultra-responsive and helpful, which is very appreciated. Cons: Not many. If I had to comment on one thing is the contrast between what I assume were recently re-modeled bathrooms (i.e. again, they were very nice) and the bedrooms/living areas/kitchen. Namely, the other areas seem to be a bit dated on close inspection--older carpet/floors, some quickly painted kitchen cabinets/doors/window sills, no garbage disposal, etc. Would we stay here again? Absolutely, our family of 5 created some wonderful memories on our spring vacation here. Betty was very well-organized, the beach is beautiful, and attractions (Jockey's Ridge, grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, aquarium in Manteo, Wright bros monument) are all within ~10 minutes. In general, my family and I were very happy with the rental. Thank you, Betty.

The property was perfect for two families. An easy walk to the beach, very clean and well-stocked with necessities. It is close to a main road, so there was some noise from the traffic but otherwise a great place to stay for a quick getaway!

We had just a short 5 minute walk to the beach and a short drive to several cool spots! Jockeys Ridge, Dowdy Park, Jeanette's Pier, Bodie Lighthouse, etc! Would definitely stay here again.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at this charming home. Perfect location. The house was everything we had hoped for…super close to the beach, cute decor, comfy beds, plenty of supplies, and enough room for everyone to have their own space. We enjoyed playing bags in the evening, swinging in the hammock, warming up in the hot tub, and catching the sunrise over the waves in the morning. Over-all we had a wonderful time visiting the Outer Banks and would definitely come back again. Thanks Betty!

The house was perfect for our group of seven adults and one child. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, the beach was a short walk, the house was super clean, the check-in and check-out were easy and smooth. There were many fun things to do in the area. Betty was very prompt with replies to my questions. All-in-all a wonderful experience.
