Where should we start... 100% recommend, everything was perfect! George is the best host, he was so kind and helped us with everything we needed. The studio has a fantastic view and it's the perfect place to relax away from the busier villages. Breakfast was delicious, room cleaned every day. Milos is amazing and Vista Mare is the right place to stay!

Vista Mare is a very sweet boutique hotel with so much charm! The breakfast that George brings each morning was so special, we loved starting our mornings with breakfast on our terrace watching the sun rise. George had excellent recommendations, so don’t hesitate to ask him if you need anything! We hope to come back to Milos some day and would absolutely stay with Vista Mares again!

As mentioned, the hotel is located a bit far from the main city, but there are cool beaches to explore nearby and the island is small enough to get around on easily. Another traveler wrote about the walls being thin, we had quiet neighbors during our stay, but I would agree that the walls were a bit thin- this is nothing that would deter us from coming back though!

The sea view, peaceful location and amazing starry skies from the balcony! The room is nicely decorated, with all the essentials. We slept incredibly well - partly because of the peace and quiet, but also because of the lovely big bed and soft sheets. The host George is INCREDIBLY helpful. He really went out of his way to help us when our car hire fell through. NOTE: car hire is pretty essential for this place given it's pretty remote on the island (but easy access to the best beaches found on the south side of the island, and nowhere is more than a 25 drive away).

Nothing we didn't like but a few things worth considering...it is expensive compared to other similar places we've stayed in on Greek islands, but that was partly because of the time of year we went (early September) and we found that Milos as a whole was more expensive than other nearby islands (e.g. Paros). Definitely consider location before booking this. We liked the tranquility that came with the remoteness but if you prefer a bit of buzz and being able to walk to tavernas etc then this isn't the place for you (try Pollonia instead). And this is definitely only suitable for couples because as others have said, when you're on your balcony you can hear everything from the other 3 apartments. This wasn't a problem for us in the slightest because we were out and about so much, and all the other guests were very quiet but it's worth noting.

The views are amazing. George is so nice and welcoming. Breakfast is such a good touch, can be changed daily with your requests. The property is out of the way so nice and quiet at night and the night sky is amazing as there’s little light pollution. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, such a bargain!

Everything was perfect. Minor aspect would maybe be that you can hear almost every tiny noise and conversation from the room next door.
