Great little place about a 10 minute drive just outside Matlock. The cottage was clean and tidy upon arrival with a bottle of wine waiting for us as a lovely little gesture. We went as a family, 2 adults and 2 kids (8 & 11) and we all loved it. The hosts where very welcoming and very lovely. Overall a great place for doing some walking and exploring and highly recommend,

Good location, general condition of rooms etc, nearby facilities - Slick check in etc

No major issues - pricing was ok Only negative was a slightly doggy smell throughout, though not an issue if you was a dog owner like us!

Lovely cottage in great location, 10 mins from Heights of Abraham, Gullivers Kingdom, etc. Fabulous hosts who were eager to help with anything we needed. Even unpacked our food shopping delivery for us when it arrived early! Great garden space for the kids to play in and comfy beds / bedrooms. Cute small living area with a nice fire made it very relaxing in the evening.

The location of the cottage was great, and the cottage itself was beautiful. It was in the countryside but close enough to Matlock for all the local shops. There are some lovely walks from the cottage as well.

The only slight issue we had was finding the cottage. We clicked on the map from the Booking.com app and it took us to a different address. Thankfully the people that lived there were able to help us out. It wasn't too much of an issue though.

Such lovely hosts! Really helpful & couldn’t do enough for you. The cottage is gorgeous and so comfy, everything you need is there and the location was perfect. The dogs loved sleeping in front of the fire!

Unfortunately the garden is not secure which I really needed for my dogs but they still enjoyed the shared garden nevertheless!
