The area is very nice for long hikes. That is why I came back here for the second time now.

I check in, go upstairs with two heavy bags after a 3 hr trip. Card doesn't work. I go back down, with those two bags. She reactivates the card and sends me back up. Doesn't work. Again, go back downstairs with two heavy bags. Such bad room cards system, very sensitive. Never have problems anywhere else. The check-out was horribly impersonal. I go to the front desk and say I want to check-out, she asks me for my hotel room keycard, so I give it. She checks her system and says 'it's all good'. I am standing there waiting for her to at least say goodbye... nothing... I was flabbergasted. The air in the room is very dry, I wake up with heavily dried up mouth. I even heard my dog chomp multiple times during the night.

The staff were very helpful and understood our needs perfectly. The food was varied and very well presented and prepared. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

We can honestly say there was nothing we didn't like about thr hotel, staff or facilities. Possibly the only thing we would comment on was the closing time of the bar, but we were 8 blokes on a fishing trip lol.

This was exceptional. I never give full marks, but we could not find fault in this stay.

The breakfast was phenomenal. It included pancakes, warm bread, lots of fruit. The beds were comfy and the view was nice.

The bathroom had a leaking toilet, I unplugged the phone because it was humming.

The room was very nice. The hotel was on a location off road but not annoying I was positive surprised then I could dine after 21:30 The breakfast was very extensive and good.

cleaning could be better. when entering the room you're able to see the spiderwebs on the lights

very nice location if you want to explore Drenthe, bike for rent and friendly suggestions on how to explore the area. Hotel has a restaurant, but the town has two great ones as well.

breakfast was ok, but could have had a little more variety in hot dishes and sweets. Pool is a bit outdated: indoor and only 9m, but we didn't come to swim, but rather to bike and walk, which was great in the areas around the hotel.
