Prima prijs-kwaliteit. Vlotte en vriendelijke dienstverlening.

We waren met vriendinnen en het was fijn een eigen appartement te hebben. Appartement is gezellig en groot genoeg. Het balkon was ook ruim, alleen hadden wij helaas geen mooi weer om daar te zitten. Als gezin kun je hier ook heel goed terecht! Er is een speelkelder met speelhuisjes, lego en krijtbord etc. voor de kleinere kinderen en voor de wat oudere kinderen een tafeltennis- snooker- en airhockey tafel. Ook kun je via het hotel naar het subtropisch zwembad. Buiten waren ook diverse speeltoestellen en een trampoline. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk. Goede tips over waar je 's avonds het beste kunt gaan dansen (Zeevaart). Ontbijt is lekker en uitgebreid. Verse broodjes worden continu bijgevuld. Ook gebruik gemaakt van de roomservice met avondeten (op de kaart staan borrelhapjes en pizza) en dat was uitstekend geregeld! Wij hebben de sauna gebruikt en waren een uur later dan gepland, maar dat was geen probleem. Zou hier zeker terugkomen!

The staff

Appalling food in the restaurant. On a Friday and Saturday evening in a restaurant with some 40 tables, at most two were occupied. The meat was tough and old. The vegetables were burnt and the chips were soggy. We gave it another chance on the Saturday evening since it was pouring with rain and we didn’t want to get soaked going into town. It was BBQ night. Hardly anything can go wrong with a barbecue you might think. You would be wrong! Old meat on the spareribs, fatty chicken on a stick, the usual burnt vegetables and our old friend soggy chips. Surely the management can look at their weekend restaurant turnover and draw the conclusion that there is something very, very wrong in the kitchen!

The service was very good, the staff were very helpful and nothing was difficult. We had a last moment request and they helped us to the fullest. The appartement is very big and comfortable. The breakfast was good and enough choice was available.

The price was a bit higher than average for what you get. Furthermore the beds were a bit soft for our taste. But this is a matter of what you like.

Well situated, spacious apartment. Perfect bike storage and charging space.

Access to the swimming pool took some getting used to (claustrophobic locked shower lobby) and hours available to hotel guests unclear (everything written only in Dutch which is tricky for non-Dutch speakers).

Great room options for families with two bedroom in the apartments, large balconies and a kitchen - lounge area. Quiet, peaceful location but also lots to do for kids - play park, swimming pool and now a tree top climbing course and excellent playground with inflated slide just behind the hotel! Kids here are so happy:-)

The breakfast unfortunately has gone down hill since we last stayed 2 years ago. There used to be more options and better quality but it’s still okay:-)
