Location and comfort . Excellent, carrying staff.

Somewhat misleading information concerning how to reach the hotel by car.

Breakfast was excellent. Wide variety of choice, both continental and cooked.

Our room had a musky smell. I suspect something had stained the carpet and it permeated throughout. We had the windows wide open so it didn’t really affect us but it would have been different it we’d been relying on aircon and therefore kept the windows closed.

1st of all hotel is difficult to be found No stopping area near the hotel door and we should be informed about that The hotel looks sooooo different from the pictures The room is not matching the size written There us a big difference between old historical vintage building snd between neglected non well maintained building The towels smells odd & they are hard & very old I asked to cancel my 2nd night because simply i did not like the room & the property but the manager refused the refund & they returned 50% of the second night They offered me to show me another room The hotel does not reach the level of 5 stars The staff are very helpful and friendly but the property is neglected and need maintenance The carpet is dirty The noise outside did not let me sleep the breakfast is bad & the dinner also was average I would not come again

Beautiful building and nice size room. Dog friendly and the dinner was nice.

Breakfast wasn’t great unless you like cakes and sweet things. For the price, I just felt it should feel a bit more special - like better facilities for tea and coffee etc in the room.

Good location in the historical center of Siena, 5 minutes from main square.

Poor windows orientated towards main pedestrial road in old town make the room very noisy even in the night.

Great stay overall - the location is supper for those who love Siena and wants to use it as a base for star trip in Tuscany, Italy. The breakfast is very rich (though more vegetables would be great) and the staff is super helpful and nice. Rooms are very big and interesting facility for those who love classic old-style hotels. I really appreciate how the staff help us in our last day in which we left the hotel very early in the morning - great customer experience which say a lot on the superb service level

Vallet parking is very useful and the staff is very helpful with is, but its also very expensive - if you are with Car there no much other options (except for looking for parking outside of the old city, which is hard). Also weather is cold this time of year, so the hotel is saving money on cooling AC - which is a reasonable saving idea for the hotel but is poor choice for you if you stay in the top floor which have beautiful rooms w/ view and very quiet but it's also very hot floor due to Sun roof and hotel heating - the only option is to open the balcony window which is ok during the day but less during the night (or to ask for fans, which we skipped). Also even though its old classic hotel which is maintained very strictly - it could be refreshes to give some more modern filling to a 5 stars hotel, new floor carpets, bigger TV screens, USB/USB-c sockets- is something I would expect

Beautiful traditional facilities with superb staff who could not have been more professional. Massimo, the concierge, was extremely helpful, and the Chef of the restaurant was superb. Excellent stay.
